After buying the Katana Lintian was not in a hurry to restore it. Sure he was excited but at the same time he was scared. The reason is because of the unknown. He heard that it was easy to restore simple formations on a weapon but to do that you still need to be a rank 1 spell master. For Lintian to not even be rank 1 and could do it unconsciously, that is a bit frightening. This is because Lintian doesn't not know if it was him doing it or the sword since formations are weird compared with qi.

Instead Lintian decided to phone Dr. Harris for advice. Dr. Harris told him to not touch it and that he will come by Monday to check it out.

It was already 9 o clock on a Saturday night. He has no plans and his mom was finally able to walk around without help. So Mao and Yukira both went out on a date tonight. Yuki was at Diana’s house. While Tsuna and Kira were both in their respected room cultivating or training.

Lintian sighed out of boredom and decided to take out those Imperial hidden knives he got today. He took out the box and unwrapped it. There laid 8 pairs of knives with a 4 inch blades, no guards and a 2 inch handle. There was a note inside too explain how to use it, the material it is made from and the history of these hidden weapons.

The material it is made from are tier five Velaso Turtle’s shell. The shell is known to be in the top fifty for hardness as a material used to make weapons. To be completely honest it is still pretty weak but then again it only costed 10,000 qi stones.

Lintian read the instructions on how to use it. Thats awesome Lintian thought. The instructions told him to embed his qi into the knives. Once your qi is embedded the knives will respond to your thoughts. The only down side is that the person’s qi has to be at least in the Martial realm or else it is useless no matter how much qi you embed. Feeling dejected by this Lintian decided to cultivate instead.

He woke up Kyuri who was napping with his thoughts and asks if he wanted to visit Rashu. Kyuri send back a mental message that indicated he doesn’t really care but will follow along.

“Its decided then,” Lintian said happily and puts on his ninja costume. He began to use the Tsukino style qi hiding technique. This was different from the qi suppression technique. This technique allows one to hide his presence. As long as there are no sensory type qi practicer than it would be extremely difficult to detect.

Lintian leaps out the window and onto the roof. Then leaps onto a lower deck and finally onto the floor. He then ran out the back entrance and not one person noticed him. He snuck into the forest and was leaping from tree to tree. Being in the third stage of the refinement realm he felt quite free compared to before. After about 45 minutes of leaping he finally arrived.

Lintian arrived at the entrance of Rashu’s cave and releases his qi. Rashu sensing that it was Lintian didn’t bother getting up and went back sleep. Akumy was in deep sleep and didn't notice what was going on. Kyuri went out to hunt after arriving. After entering the Martial realm his growth speed dramatically decreased. So he has to hunt to refine his skills and accumulate qi.

Lintian wasn’t to worried about Kyuri hunting alone since Lintian found out that whenever Kyuri leaves him for a long period of time he was usually out hunting tier one demonic beast. He also normally ignores tier two and higher and with his camouflage ability and the fact he somehow learn the Tsukino qi hiding technique he was in no danger at all.

Lintian sat down on the floor of the cave and began to cultivate. Lintian after coming here to cultivate for a month with his sixth meridian point open half way through the month was but a single step away from entering the fourth stage of the refinement realm.

Lintian was cultivating endlessly throughout the night. He was so focus on filling up his dantian that he forgot the time that passed. At 4am in the night his dantian finally filled up. Now he must gather enough qi to explode his dantian so it gets bigger. Another two hours passed and his dantian was brimming with qi. Kyuri came back from his hunt and was laying around Lintian to get some shut eye.

Rashu seeing how hard Lintian was working was a bit impressed. He was reminded of another human from a couple ten thousand years ago. Sadly he is dead now.

Suddenly Rashu’s perked up. He detected three human movements in the forest. These three didn’t even try to hide their qi. All three were in Ancestor Realm.

Rashu woke up Lintian from his cultivation mentally.

“Trouble,” Rashu mentally messaged. Rashu began to pat his daughter and used qi to keep her asleep.

Another half an hour went by and those humans were leisurely getting closer and closer. They close enough for Lintian’s sharp ears to pick up their voices.

“Hahaha you really know how to joke around Damon,” a clear deep voice laughed.

“Denzel if we are not careful enough maybe there will trouble,” warned the other voice harshly.

“What trouble can a mere heaven realm beast pose. The Patriarch is really to strict. To sent me along for this measly issue,” the Denzel voice said in annoyance.

“Damon he’s right. Three Ancestor realm cultivators again one heaven realm beast is a little too much isn’t it,” a female voice sounded in support of Denzel.

Denzel? Lintian thought. That sounds so familiar. Could he be Kyuri’s parents killer? Lintian could also feel Kyuri tense up.

“For god sakes can you two be serious we are facing the tail fox species. One of the top 100 demonic beasts of the world. If not for the pact made 2 million years ago would we human still be alive?”

“Whether not we can be alive or not does not matter at all. Right now we have three Ancestor realm practicer here against a heaven level beast. This is already laughable if others knew. Lets just hurry up and get this over with,” Denzel said irritated. Their pace increased.

“Human take my daughter and go. I will hold them back for now. Against three Ancestor realm cultivators I can not escape or even run alway with my daughter. I will hold them back for as long as possible,” Rashu said to Lintian.

“How? There’s only one way out of this cave and thats over there,” Lintian pointed at the entrance.

“No. There is a underground passage created long ago but it is only big enough for an adult human,” Rashu said and patted the floor and a hole opened up. “Go. I don’t want to be held back in a fight.”

Lintian was not stupid and decided that it was useless to argue since he was still in the refinement realm. Just the presence of the Ancestor realm would kill him never mind resisting. Lintian could feel Kyuri’s anger but even Kyuri knows how pointless it was and decided to run. Lintian grabs Akumy and went down the tunnel.

“Mr. Rashu if you have a chance please run,” Lintian said worriedly and ran down the tunnel as fast as his legs can carry. Kyuri followed behind.

“Hey damn fox get your ass out here,” Denzel yelled. The two behind him smiles a bit since his character alway from society are like heads and tails of a coin.

“Humans why have you come?” Rashu’s voice echoes out from the cave. There were neither anger or fear in his voice.

“You think I want to come?” Denzel shouted back infuriated by the time that Rashu is wasting by hiding in the cave. Denzel glances at Damon who looked like a well built 50 year old Russian and signals him to destroy the cave. Damon qi quickly builds up and his hands move in a circulation motion before punching outwards. The earth folded together towards one point and the cave exploded. This was only a demonstration and not even 10% of his powers.

Rashu stood on top of the rumbles his tails flaring around.

“Humans I have no squabble with you why attack me?” Rashu tried to buy time.

“You may not have a squabble with us but the higher ups have already issued an order for your capture or death. So we must oblige. Just die for us already so we don’t have to waste anymore time and energy. You already made me miss my sister’s birthday. YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK TO COAX HER WHEN I COULDN”T GET HER THE SLAVE SHE WANTED?!!” he fumed just thinking about his failure with Kyuri’s parents.

While they were chatting back and further Lintian was using the Emperor’s step to it’s upmost limit while moving through the forest. The emperor’s step was really fast but the energy consumption was really high too. Carrying a baby fox who weights 25 pounds didn’t help either. Lintian was running deeper and deeper into the forest. Surprisingly no demonic beast appeared yet.

“Enough of this chatter. Lets just kill it already!” the beautiful woman beside Denzel shout out in annoyance.

“Fox today really is your unlucky day. Since you made me miss my sister’s birthday I will enjoy torturing you to death,” Denzel smiles his eyes gleaming with greed, and delight.
