“What!” Diana and Katrina both shouted in alarm.

“Diana, Katrina Lintian might be last rank but he is really strong,” Yuki tried to defend, “he can even beat a ti,” before she could finish Lintian covers her mouth with his hand and gave her a glare.

“Its, ok you don’t have to say anything. As the rank 1 in my school I will naturally protect the weak. Lintian from today onward you will be my number one underling,” announced Diana.

Lintian eyebrows raised and thought is this girls on drugs?

“I’ll be in your care then,” Lintian said.

“Diana,” Yuki said, “aren’t being a bit overbearing?”

“How so?”

“Well for one to be an underling, you're saying his status is lower than yours,” Yuki refuted.

Since a fight might break out Lintian said, “Lets not talk about this anymore. Diana you must be really strong to be rank one in a first rate school. What stage are you at right now?”

“Glad to see someone who understands. Right now I am at stage two and in another month or two stage three.”

“Wow so fast.”

Katrina just sat there watching this whole episode. She was already use to Diana’s overbearing attitude. They have been friends since six years old. Her father and Diana’s father get along really well.

The car stops and they arrived at the Boston Mall. Steve the butler pulled in and parked. The Mall was huge. It was about the size of two football stadiums. Walking in, the mall gave off a feeling of luxury to Lintian.

“So what are we here to shop for?” asked Lintian.

“Don’t worry about it,” Yuki said, “just follow your big sisters along.”

Yuki thinks she is a year older than Lintian but sadly they are the same age. She would be if this was her real brother.

“Lets go shop Lintian some clothes,” Diana inputted.

Yuki and Katrina both looks at Lintian’s get up and said union, “sure.”

“So Lintian the last ranker what kind of clothes do you like to wear,” Diana teased.

“Something loose and easy to move around in.”

For the whole hour they have been popping into store after store dressing up Lintian like a barbie doll who doesn't know what to wear. They themselves also brought bags after bags of clothes. Some of the adults gave them weird looks but that was only because four eight year olds were going around shopping unsupervised. You would think that the parents are being irresponsible but they want the kids to grow into themselves. So instead of restricting their freedom they sent hidden guardians to always make sure they are safe. The guardians don’t really watch them every single second. They just monitor their movements and if anything seems strange they would come out. Also this prevents them from being kidnapped and them having to pay a large ransom.

Lintian saw their receipt and was astonished by the amount. Diana’s receipt was 150,000 qi stones. Katrina’s was 66,000 qi stones. Yuki’s was 21,000 qi stones. His own was a whopping 5,000. Lintian also brought himself a ninja costume disguise incase he ever needs it in the future. Which cost about 300 qi stones. The clothes that everyone brought were all designer clothing. This was the true reason for the extreme cost. Afterwards they store their stuff into their inter-spatial rings.

“Where do you guys want to go eat?” Yuki asks everyone.

“I saw a ramen stall earlier” Lintian said.

“I’m feeling Italian food,” Katrina said.

“Lets get ramen. I feel kind of bad dragging Lintian around,” Diana said apologetically.

Katrina and Yuki’s eyes both pop out. Who is this girl right here? They both thought.

“What?” Diana asked.

“Nothing. Lets get ramen then,” Katrina replied.

Lintian wearing his new clothes brought them to Pikaichu ramen shop. Everyone order the same exact ramen. A spicy, sweet, salty flavor ramen with egg. Lintian added a couple slices of pork but the girls don’t like pork so they got vegetable instead. Lintian ordered two more bowls before he was satisfied and left.

“Hey Yuki your parents still haven’t brought you a companion yet right?” Katrina asked.

“Yeah. I have been begging my dad but he never has time to take me,” whines Yuki.

“My mom is going next week with me if you want to come,” Katrina offered.

“I’ll check with my dad first. If he doesn’t have time I’ll come with you.”

“Oh Diana did you ever buy your companion with your mom last week?”

“No. I couldn't find one I like. Either they were too ugly or too weak,” Diana sighed.

“Oh. I forgot to tell you Lintian has a companion. His name is Kyuri. He looks really awesome. Lintian you want to show them?” Yuki asked.

“I guess so. Sure.”

Kyuri you want to meet some new friends? Lintian asked mentally.

Kyuri then release himself from the beast box. This can only be accomplished because Lintian set the box on no restrictions meaning Kyuri can come and go as he please.

Kyuri stood there looking all majestic. He blue and red fur were intertwining all over his body and wings. Kyuri has grown to be about four and a half feet tall from head to tail. He stretch out his wings awing the girls.

“Wow Lintian. As expected of my underling,” Diana said giving him the thumbs up, “so beautiful.” She whispers in awe.

Katrina and Yuki laughed.

“Can we pet it?” Katrina asks hopefully.

Lintian and Kyuri mentally messages each other and Lintian replies, “Sure. Kyuri said he would love it.”

The girls were all over Kyuri petting, hugging and feeling him up. It was like a kid with a new toy. The people passing by stared a bit in awe. They were a little jealous of how cool and beautiful Kyuri looks. Some were wishing their own companions were that beautiful. Lintian was like a lonely sole in the corner that everyone forgot about.

“Hey brats, my lady wants that dragon,” came an arrogant male voice.

Lintian looks up and saw a male hooligan about twelve or thirteen years old. A couple feets aways is a ten year old girl similar in height to everyone with average looks. Behind her were two more males but with the about the same clothing style as the male in the front. Before the girls could saying anything Lintian said, “everyone lets leave.” He took out his beast box and return Kyuri into it.

“Your lucky my underling is so nice or else I would have beaten you to a bloody pulp,” Diana was shouting while Lintian, Yuki and Katrina pulled her away in embarrassment.

“Brats stop!” shouted the hooligan. Lintian and his group kept walking. Suddenly the two hooligans from behind the girl appeared in front of Lintian.

“Were you not listening when we told you stop?”

“No, we were listening its just we thought it was a fly buzzing around our ears,” Diana said haughty. In her minds she was like Yes! I finally got to use this line somehow.

“My lady Susan wants the demonic beast that the brat has. Hand it over and we won’t cause any trouble.”

Lintian was beginning to feel tire of this dilemma.

“Look here my companion and I have a blood contract so I cannot hand him over to anyone. Even if you were the Emperor of this continent I would not care,” Lintian explained.

“We want the beast. I don't care for if you have a blood contract or what not.”

“Look here stupid. My underling said he doesn't want to give so you good for nothing buffoons can scram. Before I get mad.”

“Richard, this is not how you handle things. My father owns this whole mall so money is not an issue. How much money to do you bumpkins want for it?” the girl Susan said.

“Susan I do not want anything for Kyuri,” Lintian said. Right now he was extremely annoyed. Who does this idiot thinks she is offering me money. My family can buy her whole clan as our slaves if we want too. Lintian thought. Even through he was displeased he still have his circumstances.

“Well, I tried the nice girl act. Give these brats a beating,” she waved her hands and the three began their attack.

Wheres the security guards when you need them sighed Lintian.

One of the hooligan attacked Yuki. He punched toward Yuki at full force. The speed of his punch surprised Lintian a bit. Lintian could tell that Yuki’s eyes looks like she was confused too. She raised her arms to guard the punch but it seems to shift from arms to the stomach. She was sent flying and she puke up a little bit of blood.

One of the hooligans went and attacked Diana and Katrina but even then it was useless. They couldn’t do anything about it. They were simple to over powering.

Lintian looks at that the hooligan that called out to them first. In this case hooligan number 1. Lintian’s mind and body felt heated. Hooligan one lashed out a kick at Lintian and he blocked with his arm. The kick was fast and he would not have been able to block it if not for the fact he practiced the Dancing Moonlight body skill. Lintian flew backwards and into one of the stores. From this kick Lintian got a feeling for this hooligan’s stage. It was the fifth of the refinement realm. This going to be troublesome Lintian thought.
