Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and and then beat you with experience
Mark Twain
He bravely moved towards the Hobgoblin. He was slowly stepping steady steps while also thinking of a plan. The Hobgoblin was currently in a frenzy mode, from not only being overcooked. It was also being turned into a porcupine by the archer and it had a broken ankle bone due to the crushing blow of the Monk.
The mage had started trembling from the lack of mana, he was tiptoeing backwards as to not catch the attention of the giant monster. The mage was pitful as he had already used up all of his mana potions beforehand.
ROOOOAR!
Roaring out in anger and frustration as the Hobgoblins legs stumbled forward, forcefully walking to his target. But it was too injured because all the damages it had suffered from had stacked up on top of each other. But it still wasn't enough to bring the green humanoid beast down.
Woooooosh
The archer kept firing shots after shots until her reserves of arrows completely depleted. She soon fell into a state of despair as the Hobgoblin decided to go for her. The Hobgoblin had fallen into a berserk state, so it ignored all kinds of pain while charging forward, savagely towards the girl.
The ground shook heavily as it continued treading on its path, its monstrous red eyes stared at the little girl in hatred. It was now standing tall over the girl with an overbearing pressure. She tried to run away backwards but couldn't move very far. She was being soaked from a powerful murderous aura. To her it felt like gravity had held her in place. This must be one of the skill the creature has.
The Hobgoblin was now within arm’s reach of her. But before it could grab the girl with its own two hands, a small fire was set upon its head. The Hobgoblin felts its head warming up, making it sweat profusely. Soon its head went from warm to boiling hot as the fire grew fiercer on its head.
+ 5.1 Fire Ball EXP
Health 100/100 Mana: 65.4/100
David had sent a fireball hoping that it would kill the beast, but that was wishful thinking as the fire was easily extinguished. Its huge hands had wiped the fire dry, killing the flame instantly. The full body of the Hobgoblin was already burnt, so that fireball had did additional damage to its head, burning into its flesh and reaching the skull. Everyone could see a piece of that skull from outside. David felt that it was too bad that the flame didn’t reach its brain.
A Dech Mech o Rharar!
It was now extremely angry and furious as white misty smoke breezes out of its nose. The Hobgoblin had now forgotten about its initial target and began to rush towards David who is feeling extreme terror. The Hobgoblin speed had also increased, this scared away the rogue who was trying to sneak towards the dungeon core. The rogue had immediately ran back towards the entrance where the fire mage was currently hiding and resting.
Katniss sighed in relief, but she didn't stop her offence because the person who saved her was in danger, she began to pick up pebbles to throw but that just bounced off the tough skin of the Hobgoblin, not doing any damage at all.
David saw the huge rushing creature. It scared him to death, but suddenly, he felt a hand brush against his shoulders. It was the Monk. The Monk pulled out his giant club. brandishing it before telling David to run away while he takes on the Hobgoblin. But David shook his head in disagreement, if he wanted to run away he would had done so ages ago.

At this moment, he couldn't help but think carefully for a solution. His briefly thought of the club. That club reminded him of something, something from his old world.
‘A Bat!’ He thought while pulling the Monk’s arm, asking for his attention.
"How good is your clubbing skill?" David asked abruptly towards the monk while taking out the tennis ball.
"What? Uh, its pretty good, I have a passive monk skill that increase my blunt weapon proficiency, why?" The Monk said in a confused tone. David held out his right hand while holding onto his tennis ball. The ball had suddenly turned into a ball of flame.
Health 100/100 Mana: 45.8/100
The Monk looked into David’s eyes confused, but then caught up onto the plan. He nodded as he had suddenly leapt away and once David also got into position. David readied his arm for the next thing to happen…
He threw the fiery tennis ball towards the Monk with his fastest speed. The Monk aimed his club before taking a swing, like a bat, the wooden club smashed into the ball hitting it into the distance. The ball rushed like lightning towards the center of the berserk Hobgoblins head.
'Dong!'
The ball of fire moved so fast that it drilled into thick head of the creature, the fiery ball rotated fiercely as it burned into the skull. The ball drilled all the way to the brain, ripping it apart while also burning into a fiery bonfire due to the heat of the ball.

The corpse of the Hobgoblin flopped down onto the ground with a loud thump. It was as dead as a doornail. Everyone was shocked at that final attack, that killing blow. But unfortunately, David didn't get the killing exp as he never got a holographic note saying that he killed it. But he had at least gotten some exp for participation. He thought that if he had gotten this much exp for participating, he couldn't imagine how much the Monk had gotten for making the killing blow.
His Tennis Ball, Title and Fire Ball had all levelled up which made him feel excited. He felt the tattoo on his hand, glow for a moment. David had started walking towards the burnt corpse. The heavy smell of ash and blood wafted through the air strongly. He couldn't help but cover his nose as he grew nearer to his target.
There on the corpses’ neck was a silver key. He quickly tore it off the Hobgoblins neck before reuniting with the Monk. They were both smiling due to the Dungeon Boss being killed, which meant that this horror show was finally over.
They both slowly moved towards the metal cage. Katniss also came running after them, she was smiling brightly, showing her white teeth for all to see. She was thankful to David for saving her at that time. Those three continued to small talk until they got to the cage.
David’s’ hand was trembling due to excitement, but he forcefully held himself together as he places the key in the keyhole, and had and began to unlock the cage. During this moment, he couldn't help but think about the strange statue in the distance.

[Crystal Sphere Detected: Low Grade Dungeon Core]
[Do you want to absorb it?]
[Yes/No]
‘What!?!’
He shouldn't be that surprised really as it did make sense. But what would happen after he had absorbed the Dungeon Core?

He really wanted to find out immediately, but he felt a tugging force in my heart. He suddenly felt like he would regret not checking out the mystery behind the mystery statue and the door behind it, if he completes the dungeon right now.
"What are you waiting for" The Monk said in a questioning tone.
"Just that... I want to solve the riddle” David said, pointing towards the statue.
"Don't be ridiculous, no one had solved it ever!" A sharp voice had appeared from behind, a pathetic looking mage came out from nowhere. He kept repeating over and over to hurry up and destroy the Dungeon Core.
David ignored him and started walking up towards the statue. This was a statue of an Orc War God dressed in heavy army, it had one hand out, holding out a palm as if it was ready to receive something. The other participants had followed him from behind.
"What's round, fragile and holds half the formula to life" David said out loud, telling the other people that it’s from a riddle he found in a hidden room.
"Maybe it's the Dungeon Core?" Asked the young girl.
He had placed the Dungeon Core onto the palms of the statue and waited, nothing happened, to which the mage complained that it was a waste of time.
"Hmmmmmmm" The monk was thinking carefully about the riddle before opening his eyes wide, the monk hurriedly ran up to the statue. and looked under the statues waist, funnily enough, the monk exclaimed.
"His balls are missing!" The Monk said, shouting out towards the others.
‘His balls?’ David thought, dumbfounded.
They all went to check, and there under the waist region, were two big holes…
"Maybe we need to complete the riddle by giving it balls?" David suggested.
But what could be used to give him balls? Stones? All the stones around here are jagged and rough. They won’t fit inside the hole.
The mage then took out a crystal gem, it was like the water crystal David had found before, but this one was red, warm and bright. The mage then placed the crystal in one of the hole and it had fit perfectly. But there was still one more slot missing.
David knew that he would probably regret absorbing that water crystal...
‘I hope this works,’ He thought as he used his mana to summon another tennis ball as the other had turned to ashes. He slowly tried to place it in the other slot, and strangely enough, it worked!
There was a rumbling sound coming from the door behind, it started to crack and after a few minutes the whole rocky door crumbled down onto the ground, leaving an opened entranced with a stone staircase.
The Mage quickly snatched back his fire stone and had rushed up the stairs with haste. David left the tennis ball there as it wasn’t that precious. He quickly followed up behind the mage, the other participants also followed up. Everyone was incomparably excited as they imagine what kind of treasures await them in this secret room.
At the end of the stairs, was a very small room with a table. On that table were ten objects. To be clear; there was a golden crown, a set of red gloves, red boots, a mysterious dagger and a piece of paper. The other five items were crystal stones, which none were of the same colour.
As the Mage was about to loot the treasure room, everyone had ganged up on him, saying that everyone will have to get a share. They had all decided that they could choose only one object and stone. The mage had stamped his foot in anger before choosing the crown and another red crystal stone, after all he is an arrogant fire mage.
Katniss had chosen the boots and a white stone. The Monk chose the gloves and a brown stone. The Rogue had chosen the dagger and a purple stone.
David had to reluctantly choose the paper, at first it was blank, but after touching it, words began appearing. But he didn't understand the writing at all. He had also taken the last stone, it was colourless, but unfortunately, it wasn’t spherical which means that he couldn’t absorbed it.
Once everything was decided, and after unsuccessfully searching for more treasure in the room. David then decided to absorb the Dungeon Core.

David saw everyone leave, he was the only one left inside the dungeon. And suddenly, the whole dungeon started to tremble, David was feeling quite flustered. The Dungeon shook gravely, and it felt like it was also shrinking. The walls began to cave in. David felt deep pain at the back of his head before slumping down onto the ground, blacked out. A small rocky debris had fallen from the ceiling and had crashed into his head.
………………..
‘Ughhh’ David moaned in pain as he woke up sleepily. He founded himself a little bit dizzy, but when he touched his head, he felt that there was a crude bandage wrapped around his wound. He was confused because as he looked around, he was in a room.
Surrounding him was a perfectly squared room made of earth. The walls, the ground, the ceiling were all earth. And in the middle of the room was a familiar orb that was sparkling bright. The Dungeon Core which was the only source of light. He looked around more, only to find that there was no exit.
“Morning Master, you are finally awake!” A high-pitched voice echoed throughout the room. The stunned David as he thought it was a female’s voice, but he soon saw the culprit, and what he saw made him drop his jaw, dumbfounded.
Flying in the air was a small person, a fairy. Two tiny wings were flapping furiously to hold up what seems like, a chubby man. This was a small obese fairy wearing a black suit, trying its hardest to fly. He had an unkempt appearance, with a scruffy beard, David saw that the voice of the fairy did not match his looks which almost seems funny.
“Master, thank you for freeing me, I was stuck managing this Dungeon for hundreds of years, but you freed me. I owe you a debt of gratitude, so please let me repay you with my body!” The chubby uncle-looking fairy said while flying closer towards David.
‘Let me repay you with my body!’ This phase was replaying in David’s mind over and over…
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” David screamed as the sweaty chubby fairy came flew close to his face, he saw the expression of the chubby fairy, the fairy was blushing shyly while staring into Davids eyes.
Splaaaaaaaaat
The fairy went flying miserably as David squatted it like a house fly. The Fairy felt like crying as it crashed into the wall with its limbs were stretched out wide like a snow angle. But it seems that no real damage was inflicted onto the odd creature. Just only emotional damage as it kept crying pitifully.
‘Right, why did I choose to own a dungeon?’ If he had known that a chubby male fairy would call him master and would shamelessly try to sell their body to him, he would had never chosen this option…
