《Forsaking Reality》Chapter 172: Strongest Dragonknight (3)

Three figures appeared before Akata’s eyes.
One figure looked to be a goddess of nature itself. She had plant-like skin that was white like jade. Her eyes were a pristine green that were loving yet cold at the same time. She wore a black dress that looked to be made from petals, it showed off her soft shoulders and stopped at her ankles. One of her beautiful white legs could be seen sticking out from the petal dress. Her hair looked to be made from vines but even so it looked soft, smooth, and natural. The vine hair reached down to her waist and didn’t cover her face that looked to be drawn from heaven itself.
Another figure seemed to be a living soul. His appearance was ghostly and transparent. A white mist gradually wafted from this figures body. Everything this mist touched seemed to slowly deteriorate as if time were passing by in a flash. Deep blue eyes were on this figure and with his gaze alone it would make one feel as if they were rotting from the inside out. The ghostly appearance didn’t cover the fact that this figure wore light gray robes and had a head of white silky smooth hair that reached the shoulders. But even more shocking was that this figure didn’t have legs at all, it seemed to just be floating in the air.
The last figure stood ramrod straight like a soldier or a superhero. This figure had red hair that reached to the lower back and he was quite buff as well. A blood red greatsword was in his hand and brought an imposing aura. The sword and this figure actually seemed to be the same entity as if they were one to begin with. What was amazing was that this figure was actually 3 meters tall and looked more like a giant. To be more precise, a bloodthirsty giant. The bloody aura emitted from this figure was so great that the motes of red light that hung around this figure resembled blood droplets. It was as if the figure was standing within a cloud of blood.
These three figures were precisely Peizhi Xiuying, Mindlife, and Swordlife respectively. They had transformed into their most powerful forms in order to take on Akata’s khaos attack. What shocked Akata more wasn’t the fact that they could transform and grow stronger, it was the fact that their forms were different from what he remembered and knew.
Peizhi Xiuying’s form was something Akata new clearly, yet at this moment, she looked completely different, as if she had greater control over her form now.
“Akata. There’s no need to hold back now. If we don’t go all out then we won’t improve ourselves. I’m actually surprised my form was able to improve as well. I didn’t expect it either. Sensing the ancient aura it is radiating, it must be because our bloodlines have been traced back” Peizhi Xiuying said with a slight chuckle.
Akata could only laugh inwardly. With a thought his body began changing as well. A blinding crimson and gold light sprang from Akata’s body. It was so bright that the three couldn’t keep their eyes on him and had to turn away.

Black devilish horns appeared on top of his head, they gave off a demonic aura and looked like small slightly curved cones. Along with the horns came a tail that resembled a stingray’s, translucent wings that looked as if they came from an angel, and tree-bark skin that gave off an ancient feeling. What’s more was that his hair became longer and took on a crimson hue while his bark-like skin became a dull gold. The kudzu vines that he didn’t have much control over also sprang up rapidly across his body, covering him like a robe. The vines turned white and covered over all of his features. The only things that could be seen were his crimson eyes.
This was Akata’s Forsaken Form that was upgraded due to his bloodline tracing back to the Ancient Era. In truth, the Ancient Era was a prosperous time where experts were everywhere. The experts back then were as numerous as sand on the beach. Why were they so numerous and powerful? It was because of their bloodlines!
Bloodlines were powerful and mysterious existences. They were powerful mainly because they granted a special power. This power was called Bloodline Forms. They were forms granted by a person’s bloodline. Everyone with a powerful bloodline was able to transform into a more powerful form based on their bloodline. Not a single form was the same either, they were all different dependent on the user. That was because many things could change a person’s bloodline. Medicine, lineage, or someone else’s power, could change a bloodline.
The reason why bloodlines could grant forms was unknown due to lost knowledge but one thing was certain, someone who could access their Bloodline Form was exceptional and rare. They couldn’t be compared to normal people and they would be far stronger than others on their same level.
The reason Sect Leader Fu decided to let these four people become Dragonknights was exactly because their bloodlines were so pure and powerful that they could access their Bloodline Forms. This was also why she had given each of them an Ancestral Awakening Pellet. This was to let their bloodlines become purer and more powerful. Not many people were capable of having a pure and strong enough bloodline to access their Bloodline Form. Only truly exceptional people were capable of that.
Not only did people that had pure and strong bloodlines have access to their Bloodline Form, they could even use Bloodline Power. Bloodline Power was a power that could go against the world. This was because with Bloodline Power one can literally create their own world to rule and fight in. Not only that, they could summon that world whenever and wherever they choose! Because of all of this, people with Bloodline Forms were called by a certain name since ancient times, Freaks.
Freaks created Freak Worlds. Since ancient times those that didn’t have Bloodline Forms and couldn’t wield Bloodline Power were considered normal people, those that did have Bloodline Forms couldn’t be provoked, because they were Freaks.
Right now, the four Freaks were battling it out to test their skills against one another. Akata dashed forth toward the three figures ahead of him. His speed was many times faster than before, it was simply comparable to a Second Rank cultivator.

The others weren’t any slower than him at all as they shot forth as well with unparalleled speed. The four clashed together with unbelievable might and started to exchange blows. Akata brought out his Bludhaven Scythe, Peizhi Xiuying used her Grand Life Vine, Swordlife had his Bloodblade Sword, and Mindlife utilized his Mental Corrosion Fog.
The battle was fierce and neither of them let up. They were the four top disciples of the sect at this moment and so this spar had turned into more of a competition. Which amongst them was the strongest.
Quickly though, results were coming in. Mindlife had his Mindfog Form but his skills weren’t as great as the others. Akata, Peizhi Xiuying, and Swordlife had been in multiple life and death battles and so their experience was much greater than Mindlife. Therefore he withdrew from the competition.
The others didn’t look down on him because of this, instead, they felt like they had an obligation to help him out further and increase his battle tactics to match his. But even though they felt that way, they still wanted to know who was the strongest so they continued.
The three of them were fierce and their tactics grew more and more numerous. Akata and Peizhi Xiuying had both led their teams to the Center Circle without losing a single member, this alone showed their wise decisions and battle capabilities. On the other hand, Swordlife had gone through Misty Forest by himself. His tactics weren’t inferior to Akata and Peizhi Xiuying at all.
But, even with the case of their tactics being evenly matched, power was another factor that played a huge role in battle.
Swordlife fought valiantly and his Bloodblade Sword swished through the air gracefully. It was as if it weren’t a mere weapon but more like an extension of himself. He felt at ease and even great anticipation. ‘These are true opponents!’ He thought to himself. ‘I bet I can actually go all out with them.’ Suddenly, Swordlife jumped back from the battle and looked at the two with a smile. “Hehe. Let’s go all the way out.” After that an immense aura of blood descended upon him. A bloody aura sprang up around his body and then formed into a blood armor.
This blood armor looked valiant and deadly. It emitted a great aura of blood and made one feel as if they were looking at a field of corpses. The armor covered over his torso and left everything else bare. But that didn’t matter, that was because as soon as this armor appeared, Swordlife’s strength rose greatly and sharply. In an instant, he no longer radiated the aura of a First Rank 10th Grade figure, but instead a full blown Second Rank cultivator.
‘His cultivation increased!’ Akata and Peizhi Xiuying thought at the same time. In fact, not only them, but Mindlife was shocked as well. He originally thought that he was just inferior to Swordlife due to tactics, but now it seemed as if his own power was greatly inferior as well. He felt completely dejected, how could he not?
Peizhi Xiuying had worry on her face as she looked at Swordlife. It was already tough matching up to his combat prowess while she was only at the peak of the 8th Grade, yet now he had increased his cultivation to the Second Rank. She knew she couldn’t match up to him now. But even though she felt that way she wouldn’t give up. She waved her hands as a boundless amount of yin energy gathered into a single black petal.
The petal crumbled and black motes of light floated down to the ground. Each black mote of light then turned into a black flower as it grew from the ground. Those flowers then reshaped themselves into a humanoid figure. Each figure wore armor and held a weapon in their hands. They kneeled on the ground before Peizhi Xiuying as if awaiting orders.
With a point of her hand, the soldiers dashed forth with incomparable might toward Swordlife. Swordlife gave a light smile as he raised his sword in the air and swung down in a simple manner. Sorry Peizhi Xiuying, or shall I say Yinlife, but this isn’t enough.” When his words finished, the soldiers all stopped in place. They looked back at Peizhi Xiuying and then toppled over. All 9 of the soldiers had been bisected at the waist in an instant.
This was currently Peizhi Xiuying’s strongest move, Her Sixth Petal Transformation: Yin Soldiers. Yet, this move that created soldiers with strengths at the same grade as the user was instantly defeated by Swordlife. Peizhi Xiuying had no choice but to sigh and leave the battlefield.
Swordlife felt dejected as well. He thought that maybe these two would be able to fight him equally if he went all out. He figured that Akata and Peizhi Xiuying were generally on the same level of power. So if he could instantly defeat Peizhi Xiuying’s strongest move then that meant that Akata wouldn’t be much either. He looked at Akata with sorrowful eyes.
Akata looked at him back. But on his face wasn’t shock from Swordlife’s power but instead anticipation. ‘Maybe he can match my full strength.’ Akata thought to himself as he looked at Swordlife. He had been longing to find an equal opponent yet he didn’t think Swordlife would be this strong. His originally dry battle intent surged forth. He was filled with the will to fight at this moment.
He gave a slight smile as a crimson cloud appeared around his figure. This cloud was filled with the aura of boundless life and lightning. Along with his Stormvine Amalgam, golden and crimson light appeared around him. His wings spread open and he floated semi in midair. “Hahaha! Let’s fight!”
Seeing the battle lust coming from Akata, how could Swordlife feel dejected any longer? He was extremely happy at this moment and dashed forth to meet head-on with Akata. And Akata wouldn’t turn down a head-on clash. He shot forth as well.

The protagonist may be involved with more than one girl, but not every female will fall at his feet. Swearing will be censored whenever possible since some people do not like explicit forms. An Un-Ideal Eternity
An Un-Ideal Eternity is about a man named Desmond, who is killed, revived, and then finds himself immortal in a post-apocalyptic society. Just because it’s a society doesn’t mean that either he or “they” have to be civilized. And just because a gentleman has become immortal does not mean that he has no dangers to be wary of. The good news is that he’s been afforded some very kind and very generous ministrations from his future-self. The bad news is that all those efforts might still not be enough, to allow our hero, to live in as untroubled and as un-tumultuous a manner as he’d prefer.

Here's a couple of rules that I'd like to enlighten upon you. Number one, you do not talk back to me. And two, you don't mess with me or the rules," his breath fans my face and I close my eyes. The proximity between us was terrifying. "I've dealt with many bitches like you, so I suggest that you follow those rules unless you want to end up like them," - he leans in. His mouth lingers near my ear, "used."... "... You might think that you run this place, but you do not run me. Understand? And the sooner you understand that, the better it'll be for the both of us," I warn staring right into his eyes before walking away. I was more than amused by his dumbfounded expression.
