All the employees and customers managed to escape the building, and the robber appears to have now barricaded himself inside the supermarket, with the police blocking all the roads leading to it.

Descriptions point to an insect-looking shape-shifter, with strong black scale armor and dark cockroach-like wings. He is unlikely to be very powerful, as otherwise he would have easily been dealt with by the police officers who arrived at the scene.
