'Ugh. Did I leave the blinds open last night?'
Archer began to sit up in what he thought was his bed as he reached for the blinds. But when he noticed that he could not grip the cord, he realized several things were off.
'Why can't I grip those damn cords I touch almost daily? Why is my bed so hard? When do I wake up until after the sun comes up?'
Archer opened his eyes and saw that he was not in his room but in the middle of a white room. The room was almost empty save for the middle-aged man sitting on a throne in front of Archer. He looked frustrated and like he was muttering to himself.
"Truck... damn... another one," was all that Archer could hear from his current position.
"Hey, God. Am I dead?" Archer asked. He had read enough isekai novels to have an idea of what was going on. And the god's words confirmed it.
"Yes, you have been murdered. Truck-kun is an ancient being that has been killing humans since before they discovered fire. It takes the shape of many different forms but a truck is its current preferred form and form of address.
If humans die naturally, we gods have the ability to send them to heaven or hell. But if Truck-kun kills a person, we have no control over where they go. We can only give a few blessings to try and ease that person's journey. Truck-kun will also throw in curses if he feels like it," said the god.
Archer took a minute to think about his current situation. He was dead. He had been killed by a malevolent force. He was about to be sent to another world.
"So where am I going and what blessings do I get?" Archer asked the god.

The god let out a sigh. He was not sure whether to pity Archer or feel hopeful for him. The world Truck-kun was sending Archer was more peaceful than most in general but with all the creatures there, Archer was not guaranteed to live.
"Truck-kun has decided to send you to the world of Pokemon. As for the blessings, I am able to let you keep your memories so you have a bit of an edge over there. But Truck-kun decided that was too good for you so he also made it so your memories and abilities would be sealed until you catch your first pokemon.
The world of pokemon will be a bit different than what you are used to. There aren't levels like the video games or constantly changing power levels like the anime. Why am I telling you this though? You won't remember a thing."
"And he is just allowed to do that?" Archer asked incredulously
The god nodded his head regretfully
"Indeed. He is far too powerful for even us gods to stop. We used to number in the millions but when we tried to seal him before, he killed most of us. Now, we only number in the thousands."
Archer felt bad for the god more than himself. He only got screwed over by Truck-kun twice. This god had to deal with Truck-kun on a constant basis.
Knowing that they had gotten off-topic, the god waved his hand.
"No need to worry about that. Go ahead and enjoy your new life. Bye now."
And with a snap of his fingers, Archer broke into millions of motes of light that flew off into the sky. The god watched as Archer left with a small smile on his face.
'I'm glad I was able to make his transition a bit...'

"Here's another one, bitch!" a deep voice said out of nowhere
In front of the god, another soul appeared before him. The god's eyes began to twitch as a vein appeared on his forehead.
"Damn you, Truck-kun!"
--- In the Sinnoh Region ---
Two children were born on the same day. This was the only similarity between them besides the fact that both of them were some of the quietest and most relaxed babies that the doctor had ever seen.
One was a boy and one a girl. The boy had black hair compared to the girl's blonde. They were born to different parents but in the small town of Celestic, everyone was pretty much family. Their natives did not even reach the triple digits.
Both of them were currently being watched over by a small, middle-aged woman while their mothers rested.
"You both are so adorable. I can't believe your stupid fathers are out of town during such an important occasion. I should break all 3 of their legs," the older lady complained to herself
Both of the children started to giggle at the old woman's words, even if they couldn't understand her. They both just felt comforted by her presence.
The woman could not keep the anger on her face. Her scowl instantly transformed into a gentle smile. She put her fingers in each of the cribs to tease the little ones.
"Tsk. They are lucky they produced such cute kids. For the sake of them making some more, I will let them off easy this time."
"Professor! Professor Carolina!" a young man ran inside before kneeling over as he gasped for breath.
"Quiet you! Can't you see that these two babies are resting!" Carolina quickly reprimanded the boy before checking that the babies were fine. Noticing that they were not crying, she let out a sigh of relief. "What do you want, Edward?"
Edward rubbed the back of his head as he was embarrassed. He heard that Professor's daughter-in-law and that daughter-in-law's best friend had both given birth but he was so shocked that he forgot about it and burst into the room.
"There was a report about a Palkia sighting. It just came in over the fax machine!"
The professor scowled at Edward even more than she did before
"That's all? We get so many false reports that I don't even look at them anymore. Scram!" the woman said before turning her back to look at the two babies again
Edward didn't leave immediately though.
"This one is different. This report comes straight from Professor Rowen's lab!" Edward exclaimed
Carolina was about to dismiss him again but when she processed what he said, she was shocked. Rowen was the leading Professor in the Sinnoh region so if someone at his lab reported it, there had to be some truth behind it.
Carolina looked at the two children reluctantly.
"Grandma is sorry. I need to go check this out. Cynthia, watch over Xander. Xander, you do the same for Cynthia. You two need to watch each other's backs while I'm not watching over you. Your parents are good-for-nothings so you shouldn't rely on them."
Carolina continued to warn the babies for another 10 minutes before she reluctantly left the room with Edward. The only person left behind to watch over the two babies was a Blissey.

The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.
