《Author Vs Protagonist》Chapter 18: Fell for the bait

Medical Division is the most prominent division in the northern compound. Does that mean it’s the only division there?
Not exactly. It's true that Medical Division is the major division in the northern compound, but there are many sub-divisions that are under the Medical Division as do the other 4 major divisions.
In the southern compound, the Refining Division acts as the hegemon, while lesser divisions such as the Pill Refining Division and the Liquid Refining Division are directly under it.
Major Divisions contribute directly to the core of the academy and are the faces of the academy. They also ensure that the existence of the smaller divisions are not threatened, and the smaller divisions must prove their usefulness to the major divisions to receive such protection.
At this moment Zhang Wei arrived at the northern compound. The entire compound was magnificent, as it was like a city of its own, with many buildings and even stores for selling items. Zhang Wei did not waste time and immediately went to the registration building.
The process was similar to the Assessment Department. Zhang Wei finished his registration, and almost as if it was deja vu, he heard that very same shout again. “Move away for the young master of the Rosswein Family”.
Zhang Wei almost coughed blood. He could not believe what he was hearing.
What the actual hell! Is this a**hole haunting me? This humble man swears that when this humble man gets back his abilities, he would pay a ‘visit’ to this Rosswein Family.
Zhang Wei was getting pettier and pettier. How many more people will be added to his 'visits' list?
Zhang Wei had not even turned around before the young master’s attendant barked, “Peasant do you not hear what I just said? Move for this … wait a second. You’re that retard from before!” he was about to move Zhang Wei out of the way before he noticed Zhang Wei’s face.

“So you actually made it into the academy huh? Did you bribe a teacher here to let you pass? Because surely with your abilities, you would not pass the assessment even if you had a million years”.
Zhang Wei was getting really pissed off at this point. But despite that, chose to ignore him and complete the registration. The attendant as expected was furious that Zhang Wei dared ignore him for the third time. He could not stand Zhang Wei’s behavior anymore and wanted to attack him, but before he could even try a hand held him back.
It was his young master. He pulled back the attendant and told him to be quiet, “Restrain yourself! He doesn’t even know what place he’s in. You will get you’re revenge sooner or later.”, his tone sounded as if he did not view Zhang Wei as anyone important.
Well considering the most nobles' attitude towards commoners, it was not unexpected.
After completing the registration, Zhang Wei wanted to leave and relax a little before the test started, but he was called back by the receptionist lady, “Mr Roland, please proceed to the room in the back."
Zhang Wei was a bit confused, but thought this was normal procedure and followed the receptionist no question asked. Entering the room, he saw two extremely beautiful ladies, one was a woman who he had never met before, and one was a person he was very familiar with, Division Head Nar!
What’s going on? Is she so attracted to me that she could not wait to see my majestic self? Oh wait, I’m posing as Roland now. Hmmm, I guess my aura is just too majestic that she could not help but resist. Oh God, why have you made me so perfect.
“Mr Roland please have a seat”, Division Head Nar’s voice snapped Zhang Wei back to reality.

She continued when Zhang Wei sat down, “My name is Nar, I am the Division Head of the Medical Division, and this is Sheera, my Vice Head. I have heard about Mr Roland’s score in the spirit energy assessment, and was pleasurably surprised, it seems my academy has gained another once in a generation genius”.
Her voice sounded so sweet, but it stroke Zhang Wei with restlessness. This woman cannot be trusted.
Despite Zhang Wei’s lack of decency, when faced with an actual threat, he turns extremely vigilant. Never allowing himself to get taken advantage of.
“I was hoping to see if Mr Roland would like to join the Medical Division as my personal disciple. I’m sure with my assistance, Mr Roland would be able to become a top tier expert within 4 years."
As she said that, she threw him a seductive smile, her body language suggested that she wished to charm Zhang Wei into accepting.
While any other regular joe would agree in a heartbeat, Zhang Wei was skeptical. He was going to enter the Medical Division anyway.
Why would she go through the trouble to recruit him if he is already going to be in her side, and why would she do something that could arouse his suspicion? He did not want to act rashly, so he thought of a plan.
“Division Head Nar, this noble is interested, but I currently have no plans on accepting a master. However, If you agree to be my beloved instead, I would gladly agree this instant.”, Zhang Wei said that with a disgusting tone.
While you might think that this is a stupid idea... it is. Zhang Wei is um... a special kind of child...
Vice Head Sheera heard what Zhang Wei said and twitched, she was about to pounce on this man, when Division Head Nar held her back. Division Head Nar’s face was serene as if she had not heard anything repulsive.
She calmly replied, “If that is Mr Roland’s wish, then this Division Head would gladly oblige”. She already knew what his response would be, so she said this with confidence.
In his mind, Zhang Wei immediately cheered. Score! She actually fell for the bait! Zhang Wei smiled and said, “Great then from now on, we will be each other’s beloved. My love I hope that we will have a fulfilling love life.”
Not expecting that response, Division Head Nar’s face fell
“…. Eh?”

He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend.
