First Floor

Haln-"Huff... Hufff..."

Flaur-"Ah , Haln!"

Fayn and Neo turns around , they see a elf covered in dripping sweat.

??-"What... another one?"

??-"Damn... elves.."

??-"I can't...the pond yard is too... much.."

Students were collapsing of exhaustion while some cheered for Haln as he is on his 10th laps

Junee-"*Oh , another elf.. interesting*"

*ting*

The bell rang before Haln reaches the line

??-"....Does it count...?"

??-"Instructor Junee won't show any mercy..."

??-"Yeah... too bad for him.."

Fayn-"Haln! you did it! here , I will help you up"

Haln-"I..don't .. think so.."

Fayn , Fleur , Neo and every students looked at their instructor Junee

Junee-"Hmm..Since it's your first class , I will give it a pass , you will be my number 2 disciple"

Every students gave Haln a applause

??-"Wow , he made it!"

??-"2 in a day! I still got 2 week , I can do this!"

The students stood up and surrounded Neo's group , they gave them a pat on their shoulder

Sven-"Rawwwr!"

??-"Eek"

Most of the students who tried to pat Neo got scared off by Sven

As the class was over for the day , thousands and thousands of students were walking through the hall way.

Haln decided to go rest in his dorm while Fayn , Fleur and Neo remained together

Fleur-"Shall we go to the tower?"

Fayn-"Mhmm..but.. let me rest abit more..how come you are not tired Neo?!"

Neo-"Hahahaha , how about we go eat first?"

Fleur-"Eat...?"

Fayn-"Neo..."

Neo-"Mhmm I will be paying of course"

Fayn held Neo's hand and shook it very fast

Fayn-"I knew it! Neo , you are the best!"

Fleur-"Yay , Neo is so kind"

Neo's group head toward the school cafeteria , the cafeteria had a enormous lobby and it was connected to a park that has alot of table

Neo bought them plates of food and sat down on a bench under a tree.

Fleur-"So.. how should we approach the first floor?"

Fayn and Fleur looked at Neo

Neo-"Hmmm..I am confident we can clear it today..*If it get too risky.. I have to use that*"

Nom nom nom

Fayn ate really fast and he almost choked on his food.

Fleur-"Hahaha Fayn , are you really that excited to enter the first floor?"

Fayn-"Mhmm! *cough* with me and Neo , I am sure we can clear all 20 floors easily!"

Fleur-"Hmmm..lucky you... I am not that confident.. Im afraid to be in your ways.."

Neo-"It's okay Fleur , you are our teammate and friends help each other out in any way"

Sven-"Rawrrr *noms*"

Fleur was wiping her droplet of tear with her wrist

Fleur-"Neo... Sven.. I am so lucky to be in the same team as you 2"

Fayn-"*I am here too..*"

As the sun set

Neo and his team entered the Trial Tower

Lor-"Oh , you children are from the MrBui's advance class right? go on ahead , the seal has been released for a while now"

Fayn-"Mhmm thank you mister Lor"

Fayn who was infront of his team , turns back and said

Fayn-"Are you guys ready?!"

Fayn then let Neo walk ahead to go up the staircase

Neo-"The steps are so high.."

Fleur-"Really? I think it's normal"

Fayn-"I think so too"

After walking up the steps for 10 minutes and passing through a gate , they finally reached in a open field

Fayn-"We are still.. inside the tower right..?"

Fleur-"Yeah.. this is amazing"

Neo-"So beautiful.."

As they look around , they saw many trees , white shaped clouds floating around the blue sky with the sun still up.

The grasses were green as they waved through the wind breeze , there was a big lake , surrounded by many different kind of flowers.

The water in the lake were so clear as they reflected the beautiful colors and detail of the sky.

Fleur-"I wish I could build a house in a scenery like this"

Fayn-"Mhmm.. me too"

Neo walk forward until he reach the lake , Fleur and Fayn were both looking at the flowers closely

Neo-"Hmmm... I can't see through the lake.."

Suddenly , the ground starts shaking , the grasses and flower swayed back and forward.

Fayn-"Oh no! Fleur!"

Fayn quickly grab Fleur's hand and ran away from the lake

Fleur-"Huff...ah... thank you Fayn"

Fayn did not look at Fleur as he was worried for Neo

Fayn-"Neo! What are you doing , hurry!"

The flowers went into the ground , one by one , Neo who was still infront of the lake , could see all the flowers that surrounded the water disappearing.

Neo-"What is happening.. is something in the ground..?"

Fleur-"Neo!"

As the floor under Neo collapsed , Neo had already jumped backward when he felt the tremor.

Fleur-"Wh..what is that.."

As the pile of dust flew away , all they could see was a pale brown ball that was twice the size of Neo , the ball had a evil looking eyes with multiple jaws coming out from every side with a small flower on the top.

While the monster did not have any arms or hands it was standing on his roots that formed together a pair of legs.

Neo-"I have never seen this kind of monster in the monster index.."

Fleur-"You memorized the whole monster index?.."

Neo-"Hmmm.. Only half of it.."

Fleur was amazed that Neo could remember that much while he is still a kid like her

The monster index has atleast 8999 different monsters recorded , beast , magic beast and even some sea monsters.

Fayn-"Guys.. now is not the times.."

The monster who was still manipulating it's roots to finish his legs let out a roar and charged toward Neo with his jaws open.

The monster was running toward Neo , slowly ...

Neo-"Uh.. It must be hard and heavy..."

This was only the first floor , there was no way Neo would of back down and ran away.

Sven-"rawr.."

Neo quickly lowered his body , closer to the ground and he quickly dash to the monster.

As he swiftly dash toward the monster , he held out his right fist

Bang!

The monster was sent flying while his legs deformed into roots and wobbles through the air.

It landed on the other side of the lake , with a crack on it's body , the monster did not move an inch.

Neo-"That monster... is really hard.."

Fleur-"Neo! you did it!"

Fayn-"As expected from the strongest warrior I ever met huhu"

As Fleur and Fayn ran toward Neo , he turns around and yells

Neo-"Stop! Don't come any closer , it's dangerous!"

Fayn and Fleur quickly halted and realised that all the flowers around the lake disappeared.

The ground shook again , this times it was stronger than the previous one.

As the ground crumbled , many holes appeared everywhere around the lake.

Hundreds of monster were swarming the lake

Fleur-"So many..!"

Neo-"Don't worry , in exchange for their defense , they are really slow so you shouldn't have much trouble finishing them off"

Fayn-"True , Neo , you didn't use your aura on the first one , that means we will have a higher chance if we do"

Fleur-"Mhmm , I won't get in your ways!"

After fighting on their own , holding their grounds against many slow ball monsters

Fayn decided to use his sword with his wind affinity as Fleur wore a red knuckles weapon blazing with flames.

Neo decided to continue using only his brute strength while Fayn cuts through the balls and Fleur burned them from a touch of her knuckles.

Fleur's fire was proven effective as it left a burnt pile of roots.

After a while , Fleur couldn't keep up using her affinity so she then resumed to hit them with only her brute strength like Neo

Fayn wasn't also great with stamina , he soon couldn't cut through the monster easily as he was using the wind to help him push the blade down their bodies.

After an hour has passed by

Fleur and Fayn sat on the ground as they quickly grasp for oxygen while Neo was still standing.

Fleur-"Huff...huff... so.. tired.."

Fayn-"Im exhausted too... there is still a few left.. sorry Neo"

Neo-"Don't worry , leave them to me , I have to finish this before the floor resets"

10 minutes left before the reset.

Neo-"Phew , close!"

Neo look through the pile of corpse , he could roughtly see 20 of them were burnt while about 30 of them were cut in half

Fleur-"You did it Neo.. you are amazing.. you got so many of them by yourself.."

Fayn-"As..expected from.. the strongest..warrior..-"

Fayn lays his whole body on the ground , his eyes were slowly closing from exhaustion

Sven-"Rawwwr!"

Apart from the burnt corpse , the other monster corpses began to get smaller , it was splitting into multiple tiny wires of roots.

The monster corpse that split into multiple roots , formed a small human shaped root monster , there was atleast 300 hundreds of these small monsters.

This times they had sharp looking claws.

Pounce , a small root monster that was close to Neo suddenly jumps to him

Neo quickly punch it with his fist and the small monster was sent onto the water lake.

All 300 monsters quickly began to sprint toward Neo and his friends

Neo took a step back as he can see that there was too monsters many for him to handle

The only way they could live from this was to get rid of all the monster to release the seal or else the monsters will re animate when the floor resets

Fleur had tears flowing down as she stood up

Fleur-"No...I don't...want to...die.."

Fayn-"Isn't this too much.. for a first floor.."

Neo-"I guess it means you can't underestimate the Trial tower!"

Neo quickly move his right hand infront of his shoulder and Sven took out his nail and poked Neo's palm

Neo-"Burn my blood! [HELL RAIN]!"
