《Mecha In Cultivation World》54- Grim Rian

Soon enough a man entered the room with white robes. His body lean but muscular and his posture looked imposing. There was stubble on his face. And he looked at every one of the students in the class with a domineering gaze.
The noise in the class from all the students chatting stopped with his entrance and everyone stood strait. In the middle of the giant hall was a combat area marked with black lines.
The man in the white Robe moved from the door and stood in the middle of the combat area. His hands behind his back and then he cast a gaze at the entrance of the hall again. And with his gaze, all the students followed and looked at the entrance too.
A student in a violet robe came in with a trolley in his hand. Filled inside were many violet robes. The student also came towards the centre of the Combat area and stood behind the white-robed man.
After that everyone's attention again shifted towards the white robe man. "I am Grim Rian combat teacher of Violet Class. Some students already know me, however, there are also lots of new students that are meeting me the first time."
"So we will treat this as an introduction class." Grim looked at the trolley, "First years, takes robes from this trolley. We will continue the class after this," He said and stepped aside.
Soon enough one by one, new students started to move towards the trolley and took their robes. Ambrose noticed everyone and saw that there were a total of twenty-five students in the class and only eight of them were first years.
Everyone including Ambrose went one by one near the trolley and took the Violet Robes according to their sizes. Ambrose went back and diluted himself in the group. His eyes focused on what Instructor Grim would say next.
Since this is the first class of this year. I will not teach anything, however, I will tell the basics of this academy and the wilderness outside.
When Ambrose and the students listened to Grim, all of them became extremely focused. Because they knew the things he was gonna tell now would be crucial for their survival in the coming five years.

Even the students in the violet robes, who have already heard about these basics focused their attention like they didn't wanna miss any details.
"So the first thing is about levels. There are seven in total. According to the colours of the rainbow. And to ascend to the next colour, you would have to give a test at the promotion building."
"You can give this test anytime. However, according to me, for violets to ascend to Indigo, if you don't have a cultivation level of at least Martial Master Level Five then it's useless to give the test."
Grim then pointed at the students in Violet Robes. "Look at these students, some of them are here for one year and some are even for two years. And they still haven't ascended."
The eight students looked at the others and they could notice shameful expressions on their faces. However, none of the new students showed arrogance as they knew that Ascending to higher ranks is not an easy task and next year they could be there.
"However, don't be discouraged, some students have ascended on their first month too. And some genius ones, mostly from the extremely wealthy families, Ascend on their second day, as the first day is mandatory class day and they can't take the test, or they would have ascended already on the first day."
When Ambrose listened to Grim, he remembered his team, all of them are already on Martial Master Level five. They probably need to give the test and they would Ascend.
It is entirely possible that Vita and others would Ascend tomorrow. It could be the first thing in the day for them.
"Let's talk about wilderness outside the Golden Falcon Kingdom. It is very important to know that out there in the deep it is not easy as you think. Even some Red Tier disciples have died in there."
Some gasps sounded as Grim finished his sentence. One could only imagine the terrifying demon that could have killed a Red tier disciple. Everybody knew how powerful red tier disciples were. Currently, there are only eleven of them in the Academy and they could control some vital decisions for lower-tier disciples.

"So let me rephrase it again. If you ever go to the wilderness, which you would as almost every mission and every test for Promotion includes wilderness, No matter what class you are specialising in, It may be alchemy, Pill Formation or Combat. Everybody's future depends upon how good they can hold themselves out there."
Most of the guys in Violet Robe nodded at Grim's words it was like they have experienced the reality of wilderness themselves.
Ambrose and the team have barely scratched the surface of the wilderness. They haven't even seen real demons yet, only some beasts.
"Now my final words for today. As this is the first class for the first year. This is all we will do for now. Come next week at the same time, if you want to improve in combat. And don't forget to take your basic combat manual from the library. Just show the attendant your batch and they will give you the manual. Study it and return next week."
"I am leaving now, you can stay here and practice amongst yourself, or get help from your seniors. Or you can leave to your apartments," Grim said and moved out of the class quickly like he was in some sort of hurry to leave the class.
Ambrose looked at his disappearing back and sighed. He expected some training before he came here. However, he was not too sad, because he got to know some important stuff about the academy and wilderness.
After Grim was gone, chatter started again in the class. A boy, who was also the first year like Ambrose, looked at him and waved his hand. "You are first-year too."
Ambrose nodded and smiled, "I am Ambrose." He moved his hand out. Ambrose noticed his appearance, he was wearing nice clothes. But not as good as Theo or Constant. He had a tattoo of a snake on his left arm. And his build was on the muscular side.
The guy also moved his hand out and shook it with Ambrose. "I am Astram. Wanna go to the library together? We can talk on the way."
"Do you know the directions to the Library?" Ambrose asked.
"Yes, I memorised all the paths in the Academy Yesterday."
"What about the class, we can still train with other students. Don't you wanna take the class?"
Astram looked around at the other students and the students in violet robe. "How many seconds you think you can last against these last years? And we don't even have a basic Combat manual yet. It would just be them bullying us."
Ambrose listened to him and after some thought nodded, he was right, they don't even know the basics yet. So training aimlessly would bring more harm than good. "Ok, let's go." He moved out of the class with Astram.
Soon enough they moved out of the building too. "What is your cultivation level?" Astram asked.
"I am at Martial Master Level one. What about you?" Ambrose looked at him curiously.
"Martial Master level three. It would take me few months before I could try for Indigo. I don't wanna be a shameless second year with Violet on me." Ambrose could see determination and some contempt in his eyes.
"What about you? What is your plan on ascending?" Astram asked again.
Ambrose shrugged his shoulder at his question, "I don't know yet. Maybe when my teammates decide to Ascend." Truthfully Ambrose could ascend anytime he wants, he already has mecha that could easily match up with a Martial Master Level Nine. And if he is lucky he could even kill a Saint master level one.
So ascending to the violet ranks would be no issue for him. However, he doesn't wanna attract too much attention to him, that is the reason why he first wanted to wait and see what his teammates do and he will then take actions according to them.
"Your teammates huh... Are they good?"
