Ambrose awkwardly smiled at Nelson's question. And looked away to ignore it. "Guys, I think my team is waiting for me, so I should be moving and yes... Nelson, uncle Geis was worried for you, so you should go and meet him as soon as possible."
Nelson listened to Ambrose and nodded, "Don't worry I will go and meet father as soon as possible. It's just I didn't get the time or I would have met him previously."
Ambrose smiled and then waving his hand moved away from the group. A huge tension was removed from his head. He was worried for Nelson, however, seeing him fine and he even completed his mission Ambrose relaxed a little.
"Now, it's time to study in the Academy. I will study as hard as possible and will make my mother proud." Ambrose thought and quickly met up with Theo at the previous place. Audrey, Constant and Vita had still not arrived.
"Did you find your friend? Did he pass the academy test?" Theo looked at Ambrose and asked.
"Yes, I met him just now, he has passed the exam and had just returned to the academy, that was the reason why I didn't get to meet him in these past five days."
Theo chuckled, "How can he not pass the test, after all, he is your friend. When you are this terrifying, your friend must be amazing too. Introduce us too when you have time."
Ambrose ignored his remark and with a smile looked around. "Where is the rest of them? They still haven't arrived? And who has got the stray head?"
"Don't worry, they should be here in no time, and even if they don't arrive, I have the stray head with me. We can still get admission without them."
"Admission without us?" Suddenly a voice sounded in the group and both Ambrose and Theo turned to look around.
It was Audrey's voice and besides her Constant was also walking towards them with an Arrogant expression. He didn't speak anything, only came and silently stood in the group.
Theo rubbed the back of his head after getting caught. "I didn't mean that. I meant if you guys didn't arrive on time we can submit the Stray Head on your behalf."

"Hmph..." Audrey then looked at Ambrose.
"Last time I didn't ask but you make quite good armour, can you make one for me?" She asked with an amiable smile and puppy eyes.
Ambrose looked at her and blushed, "Uhh... I am sorry. But I can't do that."
Audrey suddenly raised her brows. "I am not asking it for free. You can ask for as much money as you want." She said with a pout and her arms crossed in front of her chest. Constant also looked at Ambrose with an expecting gaze.
Ambrose just looked away and avoided eye contact with both of them. "I am sorry but my master, who has taught me how to make armour has refused for me to make it for other people. However, I may make an expectation when we get to know each other better."
Ambrose was not against giving away some mecha, however, he was not ready to give them to some stranger or the people he barely knows and Audrey and Constant were one of them, he didn't know them completely and trusting them with some alien technology, he was not completely sure yet.
However, in the coming future if he gets to know them more and if they become trustable then he might give them some mecha.
Audrey's eyes narrowed at his reply. "You think I am some shady girl? You can't trust me yet? We are team members right and we should help each other as much as we could..." Before she could reprimand Ambrose anymore Constant held her hand.
"I think his reasons are genuine." He looked at his sister deep in her eyes. She also looked at him and after some time took in a deep sigh. She knew what her brother meant. They have secrets too and they were not ready to tell them to their team. So Ambrose was also right at his position.
"I am sorry..." Audrey said and then looked away.
"No worries." Ambrose waved his hand and smiled at Constant for understanding his situation. 'This guy is more mature than I thought. No, both Brother and sister control each other when one step out of their bound.'
Theo on the other hand looked at Audrey with an awkward expression. He came to the Academy to make friends and now Audrey seems to be annoyed by him and he doesn't know what he should do.

"You are here finally," Audrey said as she looked at the inconspicuous girl coming towards them. It was Vita, Ambrose and others also looked at her. "What took you so long?" Audrey said again.
Vita smiled at her and stood beside them. "Ahh... It was nothing." She said as little as one could.
Audrey held her hand with both of hers, "Tell me what class would you choose to specialise in?" She was excited to talk to Vita. As Vita was a specialist in Archery and Audrey herself wanted to be a great archer.
Vita looked away as she was feeling uncomfortable being the centre of attention and Ambrose could understand her situation. He was an introvert too so getting too much attention was worse than getting thrown into jail.
"I think I will decide after looking at all the classes." Vita smiled at Audrey.
"Decide? You will not choose Archery? But you are so good at it. You will be a master Archer in no time if you took Archery Classes."
"Eh... I will decide on the spot."
Audrey narrowed her eyes at her answer, she wanted to study with Vita so she could also improve her Archery skills.
"What about you Audrey? You will choose Archery?" Theo asked to start a conversation with her.
Audrey nodded, "Yes and what about you?"
Theo smiled, "I will go for formation classes. Although I already know a bit, I want to be perfect in it."
"Formation huh... That's a good class to study in. Formation masters could be pretty useful." Constant said with an approving nod. "I will choose to learn swordsmanship. The best weapon class there is to learn." There was a proud expression on his face.
Constant then looked at Ambrose. "What about you? Will you join the Weaponsmith class, as they teach armour crafting under the same class?"
Ambrose took in a deep breath and looked at all of them who were waiting for his answer. "Are there any beast taming classes?"
Audrey raised her brows at his reply. Even everyone else did so. "You wanna become a beast tamer? When you can craft armour this good?" Audrey said with a confused tone. She didn't expect Ambrose to choose the beast taming classes.
Even Vita looked at him with a surprised expression and reading his emotions she could tell that he was serious.
"Actually I am more interested in beast taming than crafting armour." Ambrose knew that learning to craft armour would not be as beneficial for him to choose. Although he could take some side classes on armour smithing in the academy, he wanted his main focus on taming some beasts.
So he could have a speciality that he can help others with. He can tame some powerful beast and leave it with her mother or give it to Uncle Geis. He could even send them back to the Village. However, if he chooses Armour crafting, he would not be able to explain the weird armour he has to the class teacher or the students studying with him.
And it's not like he will need armour smithing in his future as his system craft his mecha. He just needs to earn some money and the way he was most fascinated with was by taming beasts.
Audrey looked at him with her eyes narrowed. "Don't tell me you are that confident in your Armour Crafting skills."
Ambrose smiled and looked away. "No, it's just I am not interested in crafting armour." He said. 'I am more interested in making some money.'
Theo placed his right hand on Ambrose's shoulder. "Why do you wanna choose beast taming? It's hard and not even that exciting. You should know that the more powerful a beast is the harder it is to control. And taming it is just a whole different story."
As Ambrose listened to Theo some doubts started to form in his mind. 'Should I really consider beast taming? Or should I go for something else? If it's really as hard as Theo is saying then I should sleep on the idea a bit more.'
Seeing Ambrose contemplating Theo smiled and turned silent for a bit. After that Constant, Audrey and Vita started to talk with each other.
After some time Ambrose again looked at Theo. "So are there any good options other than beast taming?"

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
