Ambrose felt his four hands and two muzzles on his shoulder. Moving his tail a little he warmed up. 'It's like my two new arms.' He could feel the two new nozzles like his arms. He could move them side by side and up-down.
Side by side they could move more than two fifty degrees, however, the lateral moment was not that good. It could only move one-eighty degrees. Combining the both there was no blank spot for them. They could hit every target coming from any direction.
Looking at a giant elephant tree in front of him he spotted a woody round node that came out of the tree trunk. The node was small and distinct from the tree, which made it a perfect target for practice. Moving as many steps back as he could, Ambrose focused on the small woody node. First, he wanted to test his aim on a still object and only after that he wanted to move to live targets like beasts. After getting a hundred meters back his eyes narrowed and he started to feel the two nozzles.
The blue coloured guns started moving and pointed towards the tree. Ambrose could feel that he could shoot at any moment. It was ingrained in his head. Pointing at the node he imagined shooting and then the silenced sounds of gun shooting sounded.
"Pew pew..."
Two bullets moved and pierced the wood around the node.
"Ahh... I missed the mark."
Ambrose was disappointed, although these guns can take down a Spirit Master level one, he needs to have a perfect aim to achieve such power. Without the aim, he is as good as dead if he faced a Spirit Master.
"I need to practice more. Only if Vita would have taught me. It would have been a lot faster." Sighing he tried again and missed again.
It was only after afternoon struck, was he able to comfortably shoot at his targets without any worries. After hitting about a hundred still targets he let out a breath and moved back to his house. The next five days all went like this. He would wake up and practice his aim from early morning to late afternoon. After that, he would spend some time with his mother.
In these five days, he has perfected his aim for still objects at hundred meters of Distance and as for the moving targets, he could get a perfect shot at twenty meters range. However, he was not sure if he could hit a Saint Master at twenty meters range. He was not even sure he could do it at ten meters range too.

He also killed a lot of beast during these five days and sold their carcass inside the wall at the same shop he sold his rhinos to. He went from having zero spirit stones to twenty middle-quality ones in five days. Although he earned more, he gave the spirit stones away to his beetle and his cat he also brought some stuff that he needed.
The Jinx has gone up to martial master level six and his beetle has also gone up to Martial Master Level one.
'Now this little guy can protect mother more effectively. While I am inside the Academy.'
Ambrose wanted to leave his snipe suit for his mother, however, he decided against it for now. He first wanted to get comfortable inside the wall and get his mother a house inside. Only after that, he wanted to introduce Thalia to his armours. He will tell her that he learned crafting armour inside the Academy and for that he would need to spend some time in the academy. And for now, his beetle and Uncle Geis was enough to protect her. And it's not like someone was coming to get her.
It was the last day for the submission of the mission assigned by the Academy and Nelson has yet to return home. Ambrose was standing outside his house with Uncle Geis standing beside him. Geis had a worried expression on his face as he looked at the concrete pathway.
"Uncle, don't worry. I think he stayed inside and will only come after he gets admission to give you a surprise. He has always been like this." Ambrose tried to calm Geis down. However, he himself was worried for his friend. He has heard from Theo that poor people get harder missions. And if it was true then Nelson could be in trouble.
'I will only know after reaching the Academy.' Ambrose thought and then looked at Geis.
"Uncle doesn't worry, let me go in and look for him and as soon as I find him, I will tell him to come and meet you," Ambrose said and started moving towards the Wall. His team has already decided on where they would meet and he was reaching for that place.
He has already said goodbye to his mother and his Jinx was sleeping in the beast bag that Theo gave to him.
Reaching the spot in just fifteen minutes he saw that many teams were present at the place, he could also spot Theo standing there with a stylish golden staff in his hand and nice blue clothes. Anybody looking at him could tell that either he was rich or from Royalty.

Ambrose has also brought some clothes from the money that he earned in these past five days, he didn't want people to look down on him, so he spent a little bit more than he wanted and regretted just after few seconds of purchase. However, his mother thought he looked beautiful and she was very happy.
Theo spotted Ambrose and waved his hands towards him.
Ambrose smiled and moved towards him.
"How did your previous five days went?" Theo asked with a wide smile.
Ambrose looked at him and could tell that he was very excited about entering the Academy.
"I just hunted some beasts to earn some money and spent some time with my family."
"Nice... I was so excited that I haven't slept well for the past few days. My father was very proud of me." Theo said with an excited tone.
Ambrose smiled and nodded. "Good for you." He said and started looking around.
"Who are you looking for?" Theo asked with a brow raised. "Don't worry about others, I talked to them. Vita has already moved from her house and so did Constant and Audrey. They should be here in no time."
Ambrose smiled, "I am not worried about them. I am looking for a friend from my village. Both of us came to the Academy."
"Your friend... You can go and search for him if you want. I will contact you when it's the time of submission."
Ambrose listened to Theo and smiled. He then slightly bowed towards him. "Thanks..." He said and started moving.
"No mention..." He heard Theo's voice from behind.
Ambrose started moving in the academy grounds scouting over all the groups he could notice. He was looking for Nelson as he was worried about him. He spotted many rich groups and some groups with not so rich people. However, he didn't spot Nelson's group and started to get worried.
"Did something happened to him?" He thought and then started to hasten his steps. However, before he could move any farther, he heard a voice from behind.
"Hey, dude, you got some nice clothes there, I didn't even recognise you at first glance."
Ambrose listened to the voice and turned around and seeing the source of the voice released a relaxed sigh. "I was searching for you all over the place and look, you were the one that found me first." It was Nelson with his team. Ambrose could spot some bruises on his body, however, he was not worried about them as it was natural to have bruises on a mission.
"Aye, bro... You don't have to be worried about me. You thought I would be in danger? We have finished our mission and returned just now." Nelson said with a smile as he placed his one hand on Ambrose' shoulder. "Come let me introduce you to my team."
He dragged Ambrose towards his group. Ambrose looked and identified a member from Nelson's group. "Lulu, you were in Nelson's group too?"
Lulu looked at Ambrose and smiled. "Yes, we met again on the grounds and turns out Nelson was in my team. What about you? Have you seen Zoe?"
Ambrose wobbled his head, "No, I haven't seen him. But I hope we will meet him soon enough. He was very excited about entering the Academy. I am sure he must have given his best."
Both Lulu and Zoe met Ambrose when they were coming to the Academy from their Village. And now seeing Nelson and Lulu in the same team Ambrose was happy that both of them finished the mission.
After that Nelson introduced Ambrose to the rest of the team. All of them were poor guys just like them, however, one of them was from a prominent town and it was because of him that they got a comparatively easy mission and were able to finish it. He was Jabor and was a very friendly guy not like other arrogant rich people.
"Hey what about you? Did you finish your mission?" Jabor asked with an amiable smile.
Ambrose nodded, "I got lucky and found good team members. We finished our mission on the first day." He said with an awkward smile, as he knew that he got it a lot easier than them.
Nelson lightly punched Ambrose in the chest. "Dude I am so jealous. How are you so lucky all the time?"
