《Mecha In Cultivation World》42- Beast Bag

"Hey what about you? What is your speciality?" Ambrose looked at Theo with a curious expression.
"My speciality..." Theo looked at the sky and sighed. "Well, I can make some formations, but I don't think I am as proficient as you are in making armour."
"By the way, have you ever been to the training grounds of our academy?" There was a smile on Theo's face as he asked Ambrose.
"Never. I have told you before that I am from a backward village and this is my first time in Golden Falcon City."
"Oh... Man, you are missing out a lot. It's like heaven for people who want to get better at martial arts."
"Really?"
"Yes, they have got everything. I have heard that even the Prince and Princess have the same amount of resources for them. So basically we are training at their level. This is so cool."
Ambrose could almost see light pouring out if Theo's eyes. He was very excited.
"You are from a rich family, right?" Ambrose asked.
Theo grinned at his words and scratched the back of his head. "Not as rich as those guys." Theo pointed at Constant and Audrey. "Well, my father is a merchant in the kingdom. So if you want anything related to martial arts, any weapon or treasure, you can ask me. You will get the best discount."
"Does your father buys beast cores?"
"No, we don't buy beast cores and neither we do business in them. However, for my friends, I can pull some strings."
"Hmm... Thanks." Ambrose nodded.
"Here take this, since we are friends you can have it." Theo took out an old waist bag. That looked like the bestbag they have.
Ambrose looked at the bag and raised his brows. "No I can't take it, this is too expensive for me."
"Don't worry, my father got this for free as a sample and on top of that, this is old and can only store three beasts. It's not a big deal, you can have it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, just keep it. You are the only one in our team without a beast bag. It can slow us down. Although this bag can only keep three Beasts. It's still better than nothing."
Ambrose took in a deep breath and took the bag from Theo's hand. His heart started beating faster than normal and a smile formed on his face. This was a new experience for him.

Quickly placing the bag around his waist, he strapped and fitted it. He then looked at the lazy cat on his shoulder. "Come on." The cat opened her eyes and looked at him with anger. It then silently moved in his bag.
An awkward expression appeared on Ambrose's face when he saw the angry jinx. He has forgotten about the beast cores completely because of abnormality with Constant.
Releasing a sigh he looked at Theo. "Thank you so much."
"Never mind." Theo smiled.
"Hey, we have completed this mission in one day. Wasn't this too easy?" Ambrose asked.
"I think it may be because of their families. You know this Academy prefer rich students. That may be the reason why we were given an easy mission for entrance." Theo pointed at Audrey and Vita again.
Ambrose turned silent after listening to him. After some time he spoke again. "We still have five days left. What will we do in that time?"
"We will wait in Academy grounds, or one can even go back to their families for the time being."
Ambrose nodded. "Ok then, I will leave for now. I will meet you at the campus at the end of all this."
"Hmm... But remember a few things. First, don't help any other team no matter what. And second, you can contact me through Identity Token. Although it doesn't work on very long ranges, however, till you are in the Golden Falcon City it's all ok."
"Thanks, man," Ambrose said and moved sideways.
Theo nodded and increasing his speed joined Constant and the team.
Vita looked at Theo and then turned her head back. She also spotted Ambrose leaving.
"Audrey rest your hand a bit more and it will be healed in no time. For now, I am leaving, see you guys at the Academy in five days." She said and let out a breath. Saying so much was abnormal and a hard task for her.
Constant looked at her and then looked away. In his eyes, she was a capable teammate. To shoot Edgar twice, without missing any shots was not something anyone can do.
He also moved his head back and saw that Ambrose was also gone. Although he didn't clearly inspected his armour. However, that was something only a master craftsman could make.

"What? please don't leave just now," Audrey said while holding her hand. Vita has not only helped her heal. She has even shown master archery. She wanted to be an archer herself and she never thought that a healer in their group could shoot better than her. Although she was jealous, however, she also wanted to learn from her.
Vita looked back again and saw that she couldn't sense Ambrose now. She then saw Audrey's face and sighed. "Ok." She didn't wanna argue with her.
"Where did you learn your archery from?" Theo looked at Vita with a curious expression.
"Yes, tell us. Those were amazing shots." Audrey wanted to learn about archery as much as she could.
.....
Ambrose on the other hand moved through the jungle with his monkey arms on. He wanted to collect some beast cores for Blaze Jinx so she listen to him in future.
"This glutton..." He sighed and quickly spotted a rhino-like beast around a mud pool. It was laying there cooling his body down.
"Well, I hope you enjoyed your mud bath." Ambrose jumped on it while simultaneously launching a punch at its head. Before the giant beast got a chance to even open its eyes, it was already dead.
"Go take it," Ambrose called out the Jinx from his bag and just as the cat saw the dead beast. Its tail started moving furiously and with a claw swipe at a perfect part it dug out the beast core from its body.
The blue colour beast core reflected in the cat's eyes and then with a smile it gobbled down the whole thing without even chewing it.
Ambrose gritted his teeth, looking at how easily this girl swallowed a whole beast core without any problems. "Won't you get constipation?"
The cat growled at him, demanding more beast cores. However, in the middle of it her ears perked up and she quickly sat on Ambrose's shoulder.
Ambrose looked ahead and saw a group of Rhino's coming towards him. All of them were angry because he has just killed one of their members.
"Shit, how did I not notice them?" He jumped and punched at the first Rhino in the head. However, contrary to what he expected, he was unable to put even a scratch on its head.
"How can I be this unlucky?" He quickly ran and climbed an elephant tree. Looking down he saw the group circling around the giant tree and some of them were even banging their heads against the trunk to unroot it.
"Meow..." Suddenly cat on his shoulder let out a voice.
Ambrose looked at it and a heavy expression appeared on his face. "You want me to fight them and get their beast cores?" He asked pointing below.
"Meow..." The cat nodded.
Ambrose smiled below his helmet. He was hiding his anger before the smile. "How about you go and do it?"
The cat looked at him with her eyes wide, it was like she couldn't believe what Ambrose has just said.
"Let me be clear. Who do you think the real pet is between us?"
"Meow..."
Ambrose just wanted to kill himself after her reply. How could this cat not have common sense?
"By the way, I didn't promise to give you Beast Cores. I just said that you can use my Mecha to get some."
Suddenly claws popped out the cat's legs.
"Ok, ok... I will do something. You go in the bag for now."
The Jinx cooled down and moved in the beast bag, while still giving a threatening look to Ambrose. It finally looked at the Rhino's down below and with drool on her face disappeared in the bag.
"Now, how do I get your cores." Ambrose glanced at the Rhinos and sighed. He was sure that if he jumped down between them now then he will be crushed to death, he also didn't wanna lose this opportunity. He may very well save some beast cores for himself
He could easily run away from these beasts as his monkey arms can only be caught by a spirit saint. Like that salamander.
He looked at the Rhino in the front that was trying to break the tree. It was the strongest one in the group. "I have to deal with him first." Grabbing a branch with his tail he hanged down on the tree and with a swing jumped on the next one.
