《Mecha In Cultivation World》33- Departure

After saying them goodbye Ambrose ran towards his house. He wanted to show his new pet to his mom.
The wooden door clanked as Ambrose pushed it inside with his left hand.
Thalia was sitting there with a slightly large mortar pestle in her hands. Sweat was dripping from her head as she was grinding some kind of herb.
The voice of the door opening broke her concentration. Her eyes moved sideways with her head. Silhouette of Ambrose was standing there in the orange light of evening. There was also a cat by his side swinging its tail slowly.
The small Beetle buzzed and sat on her shoulder quickly. A smile broke on her face as she looked at her son, however, soon that smile died down with a frown. "What happened to you?" She asked as she quickly stood up.
Rubbing both of her hands against each other to remove remains of the herb, she touched his shoulder and turned him around.
"What!" She gasped.
Her mind completely ignored the cat that was sitting on the side looking at both of them. She was more worried about Ambrose's injury.
"It's just a small injury. It should be ok in a few days. Mom, I have bigger news to tell." Ambrose said as he looked at her with a smile on his face.
"That is no small injury! Go lay down and let me apply some ointment on it!" She said as her hands pulled Ambrose in. He knew that she will not hear his single word if he didn't lay down.
He removed his shirt that was wrapped around his back and laid down on the straw mat. Although a little blood oozed out it was not much because of his cultivation level.
"I told you to not go deep in the jungle! You never listen to me!" She said in a worried tone. Tears filled her eyes as she looked at the blood flowing out of his wound. This was the first time she has seen Ambrose hurt this badly and she just couldn't bear it.
She rushed towards the kitchen and brought a cup filled with green substance in it. The yellow cat was already sleeping in a corner lazily as it was exhausted after eating so much. Thalia still ignored the cat and sat down beside Ambrose.
"You are now forbidden to go outside for another month!" She said and dipped her fingers in the green liquid.

"Mom, at least listen to me. I have amazing news." Ambrose said with wide eyes. He didn't want to be locked in his house for one more month. Last month he survived because he cultivated with the spirit stones he had. However, if he gets another month of quarantine he will surely die of boredom.
"What?" She asked as she fingers touched his wounds gently and she slowly started rubbing the green paste on his back.
"Look at that. I have managed to tame a Blaze Jinx! Now we can move to the capital." He said as he looked at the cat sleeping in the corner.
"You don't try to fool..." Before she could finish her sentence her eyes finally landed on the cat. She has already seen the cat however her mind completely ignored it till now.
"That... That is a Blaze Jinx?" She has never seen the Jinx before. However, she has heard about it from Ambrose before. It is said to be a fast Martial Master beast. How could her son tame such a beast?
"What do you mean you tamed it?" She asked with a surprised expression. The cat doesn't look as terrifying as she has heard.
Ambrose told her the same fake story that he told Nelson and the rest in the jungle. Listening to him she looked at him with suspicion. For the past few weeks, this little boy of hers is getting more and more mysterious.
However, she didn't want to ask him many questions. As she was happy that her son was advancing. He had already eased her life when molten beetle came to their house and now this Blaze Jinx. This will make her the richest woman in the town.
"You are getting very lucky these days." She said while lightly pressing her fingers over his wound.
"Ouch!" Ambrose let out a grunt as he clenched his jaws. "I think God has finally cast his rays on us." He said.
"God?" She murmured as the face of her husband flashed in her mind. Her lips raised in a smile. "Yes, maybe he is watching over us." She said and then stood up.
"I am going to cook some meat. You stay here and don't move much." She said and then moved her legs towards the kitchen.
After she left Ambrose let out a sigh and looked at the purring cat. A smile formed on his face, although she was a gobble mouth, she looked very cute napping.

For next month all the Villagers threw a little party for Ambrose. He also got another high-level beast core and helped Nelson to get the other Blaze Jinx.
When Geis found out that Nelson has also tamed a Blaze Jinx he invited Ambrose to his house to have a feast. He was very happy with the outcome.
Nelson also trained hard with his Blaze Jinx and managed to raise it's level to Martial Master Level three. His Jinx was not as big of a gobble mouth as Ambrose's.
His Blaze Jinx was already on Martial Master Level Four.
Nelson feeds his Jinx the Cores that it caught while on another hand Ambrose feeds his cat much higher level cores. His own level has already reached Body Master Level eight. While Nelson is only at Body Master Level Six.
"What do you think will he come to take us today?" Nelson asked with an anxious expression. He really wanted to move to the capital.
"He should," Ambrose said with an uncertain tone. He was not sure if Muscular Zoe will take him them seriously and return to this backwater Village.
All of the Villagers were currently standing in the Village ground looking at the destroyed trees that the mammoth buried in the ground the last time it came.
It was already noon time and no one was to be seen at the edge of the forest. This time Thalia was also present on the ground looking at the distance anxiously.
Her hands were fidgeting as she looked at Ambrose again and again. She didn't want her son to be discouraged.
However, suddenly the sound of a Giant moving in their direction sounded. The Green skin of the elephant came into view. And then the loud trumpet sounded.
This time there were only two carries behind the Elephant. The redwood cabinet opened and Muscular Zoe jumped in front of all the Villagers.
He looked at them and then his brows raised in surprise. "You both managed to tame them?" He asked as he looked at the Cats again to make sure they were real.
Both Ambrose and Nelson came in front and bowed in front of him. "We tamed them, Master Zoe," Nelson said.
Zoe narrowed his eyes at them and then nodded. "Ok then bring any two family members with each one of you. And remember you have to pay for their residence beforehand. One Low-grade Spirt stone each for lowest quality residence each month." He said.
Geis squinted his eyes when he heard about Spirit Stones. They really don't have any on them. How were they supposed to pay one every month?
"Master Zoe, we currently have no spirit stones. However, we have these. Can we pay with them?" Ambrose said as he revealed ten Martial Master Level five beast cores.
Zoe looked at the beasts cores and nodded. "They will do. One low-quality Spirit Stone for every one of them. Zoe said and took the cores from his hand. He then tossed eight Spirit Stones at them.
Rest two were for the first month's rent.
He then again moved towards the redwood cabinet. " Come on! I don't have much time to waste. You guys sit in the first Carriage and place your move your Beasts to the second one!" He said and disappeared in the Cabinet.
Ambrose and the group quickly moved and placed their Beasts in the Back Carriage. There were already six beasts in theirs. Ambrose helped his mom's red horned bull in the carriage.
While Nelson and family also quickly moved in. Most of their goods were tied up to the Bulls both families had. Geis then looked at all the Villagers. He was gonna be their Village Chief.
However, now things have changed drastically. Nelson has now tamed a Blaze jinx. Their family would now move to a better Village.
"Don't worry everyone. I promise I will do everything in my power to send the good quality beast to this place every year. And I will try to support the Village as much as I could." He said in a loud voice.
The villages heard him and cheered. "I hope master Nelson reach to new heights and make our Village proud." One of the Villager said.
Ambrose and his mom smiled. They were feeling odd leaving this Village so suddenly. Especially Thalia. She never thought she would leave this place for a good one and now all this seems like a dream to her.
After that, all of them entered the carriage and closed the gates. Before they entered there were already Six people present in the Carriage.
