《Mecha In Cultivation World》12- Completely Blind

A fire started burning in the farm shed of Village Chief. Every woman and available men whose kids were not participating in tomorrow's test were currently surrounding the shed throwing water and sand at it.
"How did this fire started? Does anyone know? It looks like someone deliberately started the fire. Or how could a fire start in the middle of the night? This all seems suspicious." One of the men whose kid was not in tomorrow's exam said.
He was also one of the level eight body master of the village and was very close to Village Chief.
Village Chief's wife looked at the shed worryingly. Although, for them, this wheat was of not much use as all of the Village Chief's earning come from the taxes. She still had to show some remorse on her face. Or the rest of the village will hate them.
As this whole village's life was dependent on Mana Wheat. She has to show some respect for it.
Tears started forming in her eyes. As she started crying for the burning shed. "Please everyone. Please extinguish this fire." She even started begging.
The man from before looked at her with scorn. 'This woman. She is so good at acting.' He moved towards her. "Miss, did you saw someone coming on the farm?" He asked.
"No... I... I didn't. I was waiting for Village Chief to come home. And suddenly I heard a commotion outside the window. I saw that out Red Horned Bulls were going crazy and only then my gaze fell on the burning shed."
"I saw no one coming or leaving the Farm." She said to the man that was dressed in a black robe.
"Hmm..." The Man was not in the mood to talk to this drama queen anymore. He just helped in extinguishing the fire.
.........
Ambrose was currently in front of his house. There was a white cloth pouch in his hand. "Three Low-Grade Spirit Stones, five gold coins and seventy silver coins. This Village chief was just too rich! I doubt even the whole village combined would have this much money." He thought and let out a sigh.
'It's regretful that I didn't steal the money from him before or I would have been able to buy my next Mecha.' He thought and then placed the white pouch in his secret location.

His secret location was actually a small space behind a wooden plank on the outer wall of his house. He found it once accidentally and never told about it to his mom.
He thought he would be able to use it in future and now previous owner's decision was coming handy to Ambrose.
Although he wanted to tell about the money to his mom. He knew that she will worry too much and will ask him many questions. And currently, he doesn't want to deal with it.
"I will tell her when the time comes. When I have enough power to take her out of this village. Until then I have to keep the money hidden."
After hiding the money Ambrose stood up. He looked at the wooden door and moved towards it. Opening the door he saw his mom sitting on the ground staring at the door.
"You are back this early? What happened did you find any herbs?" She stood up and asked with a worried expression. Tomorrow's test was very important for both of them.
If Ambrose passed it then both of their lives would ease out a lot. They can even share the burden of taxes. And if Ambrose gets a beast that can catch meat. It can even help him get stronger.
Ambrose looked at her and smiled. "I couldn't find Nelson's group in the forest. That is why I thought it would be better for me to return home rather than going in any deeper."
"And don't worry about the herbs. I am sure Nelson would get some and he will share some with me. I will definitely tame a beast tomorrow." He said.
Thalia looked at him and smiled. "I hope so. You now sleep I will go and prepare that Rabbit soup for tomorrow." She said and moved towards the kitchen.
Nelson saw her closing the door with a worried expression and balled his fists. He knew what was going in her mind. She was still worried about him. 'Don't worry mom. One day I will definitely get you out of this place!'
He sat down on the straw mat and opened his Random Mecha System again. A confused expression appeared on his face.
On the rings owned section the numeral that was written was zero instead of one. He quickly checked his pocket and let out a relieved sigh after he found the ring in it.

"Why is it zero when I clearly have this ring." Ambrose looked at the ring in his hand. It was definitely the Snipe Suit ring. He narrowed his eyes and thought about it for a second and suddenly it struck him.
He clicked on the Rings Owned tab and an empty interface popped in front of him. He took in a deep breath and moved his ring towards the interface and just as he did so the ring vanished and its image appeared in his tab.
"Oh, so this system is here to only take my money and give me Mechas. It doesn't give a crap if I owe the ring or throw it away it only needed money." He thought.
'From what I have read in fantasy books. Systems usually give Items to the host and only host could use them. However, this system doesn't seem to have those restrictions. Which means if somebody got their hands on one of my rings they can use it.'
His heartbeat started to rise. 'I have to keep them safe with me. At least this system gives a storage function for these rings.'
Ambrose then looked at the Draw Icon and below it was a new icon of money owned. It also has zero in front of it. 'So I have to deposit the spirit stones just like the rings?' He was curious. However, decided to test his theory latter.
Currently, his mom was outside in the kitchen and he didn't want to get caught with so much money on his hand.
He then waved his hand and dismissed the system. He then looked at the ceiling of his small house and the events of today started playing in his mind. A smile formed on his face thinking about it.
Today was the busiest day of the two days he has been in this world. It almost seems like an Illusion to him how much he has changed throughout these two days.
'Previously I was borned in a middle-class family where I don't have to worry about food or shelter. However, here I have to hunt vicious beasts if I want to survive. Being assertive is the only option of survival.' He thought.
..........
In the wilderness Village Chief and all of the group was currently searching for the thief that stole their property.
Both the Father and Daughter has gone completely insane by this point. The village chief eyes were completely red with anger as he hastened around the jungle.
Rest of the people also followed him silently as no one wanted to offend him. They all knew how vicious Village Chief could be.
"I will not leave that guy alive if I find him. I will cut his body into a thousand pieces and then feed them to the dogs!" Anger flashed in his eyes as he said these words.
"Yes, father. That guy should definitely still be in the jungle. How dare he steal my stuff! The only fate waiting for him now is death." Celia said.
The Goatee man looked at both the daughter and the Father and let out a sigh. 'They have both gone completely blind in anger and revenge. Even the village chief has lost his sanity.'
The rest of the people were also following him silently while gritting their teeth in anger. They couldn't do anything about it.
Village Chief sensed their uneasiness and suddenly stopped. He looked at them angrily. "All of you should find that guy individually and if someone finds his location. Don't alert him! We all will meet at this same spot after three hours. You can then reveal his location to me." He said.
When everyone listened to him they got even more frustrated. They only had three hours left before the morning strikes.
Even if someone did manage to go find that that thief in three hours. They will already be late when they reach Village.
The Village Chief looked at their expression and sneered. "You bunch of losers! I still have some money left in my house. I will buy some herbs from the Golden Falcon soldiers tomorrow so no one has to worry about it."
"And whoever finds the whereabouts of that thief. I will share the best herb with him or her." He looked at all of them.
When they heard his words suddenly a hopeful expression appeared on all of their faces. "Village Chief is so generous. Now listen everyone keep your eyes wide open and search for that guy. The village chief has already garnered us some herbs!"
The Goatee Man said with a wide smile on his face.
