《Mecha In Cultivation World》05- Help Myself

"Dud!"
Body of the rabbit fell on the ground. Making all the other rabbits disappear in just seconds. No one even stopped to look at their dead member.
Black coloured blood started to spurt out of rabbits head.
"This gun is too silent and lethal." Ambrose although knew that this suit specialised in stealth. He never thought that the gun would be this silent.
He didn't even hear it shoot. When he was the one that shot the gun. Even silencers on earth were not this silent.
To kill a Rabbit at Body Master level four without even making a single sound. This suit was too amazing. A smiled formed on Ambrose's face as he landed on the ground.
"I have to clean its body up quickly before scavengers come out." Ambrose quickly moved towards the dead body.
In a wilderness like this. Where danger was waiting at every turn. Every animal strives for survival. And everyone is an opportunist. If he waited for even a bit more. Many opportunists will come and take his prey.
Even the plants here are dangerous. Some of them are even carnivorous. That is the reason why one has to be decisive with being powerful.
After he picked up the rabbit. He took it on top of the tree and started cleaning its guts. After that he skinned the little beast. Wrapping the meat in the red coloured cloth that he brought for fruits. He placed it over his metallic shoulder.
The sniper has already retracted into the suit again.
"I have to quickly return home" He looked at the sky and saw that sun was about to change colours. He only had about one and a half hour to reach his home. Or Thalia would really reprimand him a lot.
To find these specific rabbits he has come in very deep of the wilderness and many strong Mana beasts have laid their territory here.
Ambrose stood up on the tree branch and had a general sense of direction from where he came from. He squatted down a little and jumped on the other tree in front of him.
And then he did the same on that. He started jumping from one tree to another like a silent assassin. His speed gradually increased with every jump he made.
The tree leaves brustled as he moved at increasingly fast speed on them. He had a wide smile under his mecha. He felt like he was surfing over the jungle. His mecha was his board and these tree leaves were his waves.

"Swish... Swish..."
Silently he again reached the most active area. This was the region he was previously in when he was searching for rabbits. However, he moved away because he didn't want to get seen.
Now he was back again at this area and he can see a party of five members below him. Three of them were girls and two were guys. Ambrose identified every one of them.
He can also see four wolf-like blue-furred hounds around them too. And on the shoulder of the girl in front, there was a red coloured bird, size of a sparrow and on its tail there were white line patterns.
These are all the rich guys of the village. All of them lived around the Village Cheif's house and every one of their family has a member at Body Master level eight.
Ambrose also identified the girl in front. She was Village Cheif's daughter. And the sparrow-like bird on her shoulder is her father's per beast. A Pyro Bird. It is said that this bird can emit fire from its feathers. And can burn down everything that it comes in contact with.
And the blue-furred hounds were the Razer Hounds that many males have in the village. 'Looks like these kids got their parent's pets to hunt some beast meat just before the elimination tomorrow.'
There are two benefits for their parents to send them here alone. First, they can learn how to interact with a Mana beast so they can perform well in tomorrow's test.
And second. They will be mentally prepared for the dangers of tomorrow's exam. It is not easy to tame a Mana beast. These beasts can even kill someone if forced too hard.
It has happened in the past. Many boys and girls get injured every year in this test. However, it will be not hard for these guys.
As all of them have enough supply of meat from their families. Ambrose knew that these guys were all at Body Master Level four and the Village Cheif's daughter is even at Level Five.
For them, this test would be easier than drinking water. It is guys like Ambrose, who is only at Level two body master that the test can be lethal.
'Something is wrong.' Ambrose could tell by the looks on the faces of these guys. They were heading deep in the forest. Even if they really were preparing for tomorrow's test they would never risk it to go deep in the jungle.

'What could be the reason?' Ambrose looked at the sky and calculated that he still has almost an hour left before he had to head back home. He nodded his head in determination and decided to follow this lot.
Due to his increased stealth. Even the razer hounds didn't sense him over the trees. He wanted to know what is really going on. Why were these guys heading deep in the jungle, just a day before Beast Taming test?
"Sister Celia, If we have got this information just a few days earlier. We could have performed even better." One of the Girl said to the Village Cheif's daughter.
"I know. However, this is what we have to deal with now. At least we have information about this. Those poor people are not even aware of what they will face tomorrow. I don't think even a single one of them will able to tame a beast." Celia said as her red skirt moved with her body.
She was wearing a white shirt on the top, with her brown hair tied up by a black band. She also had pearl earrings on her ears.
"What do you think sister Celia. Will we be able to find any Ice Mushrooms? We haven't encountered a single one till now." One of the guys that were walking behind spoke out.
"Don't worry. Our parents are also searching for that Mushroom. Even if we are unable to find one. I am sure my father will definitely get one for me." She said nonchalantly.
The boy in the back listened to her and a grin formed on his face. "I hope Sister Celia also bestow us some of the leftovers." He said.
"Without those mushrooms, we would not be able to get a good beast. As all of the beasts that the Golden Falcon Kingdom is sending tomorrow are Fire Affinity Mana Beasts." He continued.
"Yes, as it's my turn this year. Father has especially paid some Ransom to get a good tire Mana Beasts this time. However, we only got the information today. Or we would have been long prepared." Celia said with a complicated expression.
One of the girls from the side laughed and said. "Sister Celia is so powerful that she doesn't even need an Ice Mushroom to resist the heat of Fire Mana Beasts. She could easily tame one if she wants." The girl tried to flatter Celia.
"You are wrong. This year they are also sending a Fire Arrow Bird. And it's not easy to resist its fire Mana. Even I will need the assistance of A high-quality Ice Mushroom If I want to tame it." Celia said and a worried expression appeared on her face.
She really wanted to tame the Fire Arrow Bird. She didn't want to settle with anything less. For her ambition of entering the Golden Falcon School, she at least needed that bird to be hers.
"Let's move faster. We don't have a whole month. The test is tomorrow!" Celia urged and moved even deeper in the wilderness. She was very desperate to get her hands on an Ice Mushroom.
Ambrose heard all their talk and got the basic idea of what was going on.
Apparently, Tomorrow test will be a lot harder than in previous years. As Celia was Village Cheif's daughter. He has especially paid the Golden Falcon people to bring the higher tire Mana Beasts this time.
She was saying that it would even be impossible for poor people like them to even get a beast tomorrow.
To tame a fire beast one needed to resist its fiery aura. And low-level guys like Ambrose needed assistance from Ice nature herbs to do so.
Ambrose clenched his fist in anger as he saw their disappearing back. For his daughter, the Village chief was ready to snatch away the future of kids like him.
After waiting for some time Ambrose decided to head back. He had a plan to search for that mushroom after his mom goes to sleep.
"Although I can't help everyone in the village. I can at least help myself." Ambrose stood up on the tree and then moved back home.
