《Mecha In Cultivation World》03- Snipe Suit

Ambrose clicked on the Snipe Suit and the blue coloured panel disappeared from his site. Instead, a silver ring appeared on his ring finger. It has strange glyphs engraved on it, that Ambrose has never seen before.
He felt the engrave marks by the top of his thumb as he rubbed it against the Ring. "This ring looks like a normal ring from the roadside stand." He nodded in relief, he didn't want anyone to see an expensive looking ring on his hand.
As the people here were very poor. With poverty comes crime. He was sure that he would be robbed as soon as he goes out with something expensive in this village.
Thieves might even cut his hand or finger just to loot him quickly and run. Ambrose raised his hand at his eye level and narrowed his gaze. He tried to make meaning out of these glyphs, however, nothing came to his mind.
He felt like he has seen these glyphs before, in the memories of the previous owner, however, he just can't pinpoint it where. The feeling is like a Deja vu like a dream he has seen in past has come true.
After thinking for some time he gave up, "maybe I will remember it later. First I have to test this Mecha." He stood up with an excited look on his face. Although just sixteen years old he was 1.7 meters tall almost at the height of a normal adult.
He moved around a bit to establish coordination with the new body. He felt little jittery as he tried to move his waist and head. He looked at himself, as there were no mirrors in this small house, he couldn't see his face. However, his body was visible to him.
He was slim with a brown complexion skin. His fingers and hands had many cracks and rough spots. Showing that he used to work at the farm with his mother.
"I have to feed this body some good materials if I ever want to get strong and go out of this village." A determined look appeared on his face. He slowly moved towards the wooden door and chained it up from inside.
He didn't want anyone to see him transform into a Mecha. Moving back and getting in the middle of the room, he looked at the silver ring in his finger and focused on it.

"Zic zic zic"
Soon plastic wrapping like voice rang in the small house. First, his ring hand got covered in white coloured armour with red accent. From his arm, the metallic armour started to cover his face, his chest and then his whole body.
The armour was completely white and metallic, there were red lines along with the armour, which gave it a unique look. The armour was skin tight on his whole body except his hands and legs.
His legs were little taller and so did his arms, there were only three fingers on his every limb. His hands had a sharp claw-like appearance making him look like a werewolf from the movies.
His face also had district appearance. Completely hiding his face with a red and white helmet. His eyes were completely red. Ambrose could focus much easily through them. He can even zoom on objects.
"I don't think I will be able to test it completely in this small house. I have to get out and find a secluded spot." He thought and then imagined removing his armour from his body and that is what happened exactly.
His armour completely shrank down in his silver metallic ring. His heart was beating extremely fast. His face red, he was excited about his future with this amazing cheat.
He unchained the door with a clanking sound.
"Brr"
The wooden door opened as metallic bolts rubbed against each other. Although he has seen the light previously when he woke up the door was open and the lamp was also lit.
However, seeing it again he still had to place his hand against his eyes to slowly accommodate to the sun. After a few seconds, he looked around and he could see a dirt path in front of him which lead to a metallic door ending far away and around his house, there was a huge farm covering the entire land.
The whole farm was covered by the golden wheat making it look scenic. He spotted his mom far away in the farmland, she was currently cutting the golden wheat from the farm and placing them in a basket on her back.
He could also spot a thatched structure standing on four pillars under which sat a bull with a white body and red horns. Even his eyes were red.
"Mom I am leaving to get some fruits!" Ambrose yelled from the door of his house.

As his mom was gonna make chicken tonight, he can go in the jungles to get some fruits. Actually, this was just an excuse for him to go into the jungle and test his mecha.
Thalia looked at him and then waved her hand towards him. "Come here first and place this basket to the shed!" She yelled. There was a tired expression on her face. She was even sweating.
Ambrose quickly moved towards her dodging all the wheat crop like an expert. He didn't want his mom to yell at him if he accidentally stepped on some crop. For them, every crop was food for another night.
'I will change this soon!' He thought and then finally appeared in front of her mom.
She looked at him and then smiled. Placing her hand on his forehead she asked. "Are you ok now?"
Ambrose just nodded feeling her warmth. For him to have someone care for him in this unknown world was like a blessing from God and he can never let her suffer in this harsh environment.
"I am ok mom. You worry too much." He said and then took the heavy basket from her back with a smile. "I will place this in the shed, now you go and make me some yummy food. I will be back at dinner time with some fruits." Ambrose said and started moving towards the house again. With the basket on his back.
His mom also moved behind him, "Promise me you will not go too deep like the last time. Or I will beat you to death myself." She said from behind.
Goosebumps raised on his neck when he heard her words. He does not remember her being so worried about him.
Although she cared for him very much she never held him back in anything as she knew that this is a cruel world they live in. Weaknesses only meant death sooner or later and there was no place for wimps in this world.
She didn't want her son to stay weak, however, he is the only family she has. If something were to happen to him she will die too. She has realised it just yesterday when he returned home unconscious.
She knew that it's worthless to live without any family. What would she do alone? For whom will she survive?
That is why she was more strict than before.
Ambrose moved his head back with a wary smile and when he saw her devilish smile he almost jumped out of fright. He knew if he didn't reach home at the dinner time she will really beat him to death.
"Don't worry mom I will be back at dinner. No, I will be back before the dinner is even ready." He said.
Thalia nodded with a satisfied smile. "Now that is how you should talk."
"Ahaa" He let out an awkward laugh and increased his pace. He quickly moved behind their house and there was a small extension room there. He opened the wooden gate and placed the wheat in the already quarter filled room carefully.
After that, he closed the door and ran towards the metallic main gate. He could see that his mom was already in the kitchen. The kitchen was also an extension room on the side of their house.
He looked at his house again and smiled. He then jumped off the gate and ran towards the jungle. It was still day time and there were a few hours left till the evening strike.
"I still have at least three hours before I have to return." He thought and then increased his pace.
The road he was walking on was made of dirt and there were may little holes in the ground. However, he didn't get slowed by them as he has already been through here many times before.
After a few seconds, he could see another house just like his, they were his neighbours and the man that lived there was the one that gave him the antidote previously.
He also has a Razer Hound and his wife has a Red Horned Cow. His son Nelson Geis was his best friend. He looked at their house and the doors were closed.
Their house has an additional extension room for Nelson. His door was also closed. Ambrose didn't want to disturb them so he quietly moved ahead and only after fifteen minutes did he reached the jungle barrier.
There was a Mana Barrier present there, Laid by the Golden Falcon Kingdom. This was a semipermeable barrier as only humans and tamed beast can cross it.

*Humans do not own anything but is only instead given the talent to manage it.* Thus, authority was born.
8 267The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
