《Mecha In Cultivation World》02- Mecha System

The people in this world were divided into many levels by their powers. First were Body Masters. These were the lowest level Martial Artist, they trained their bodies with the help of mana present in the space.
There were a total of nine levels to Body Masters and only the village chief is at level nine in their village. He is the strongest.
Everyone paid him taxes to protect the village from the attack of Mana beast. Ambrose's mom also had to pay one silver coin every month to the Village Cheif. Which made her savings almost zero.
Ambrose remembered that Village Cheif although strong however was not a good guy. He was a greedy one, to charge one silver coin from a woman and a kid every month could be very cruel.
If not for his mom taming a Red Horned Bull. They would have never been able to pay him and would be thrown out of the village like every poor villager.
His mom sells the Mana wheat they grow on their thousand square feet farmland. And only after selling all the wheat, they earn about fifteen silver coins per year. Of which twelve were given to Village Chief.
Although the village chief promises to protect them from the Beasts in exchange for tax. A beast has never dared to enter the village in the past forty years. As the army of Golden Falcon Kingdom has placed many Mana Barriers around every village and town in their control.
And they also take about two silver coins as tax per year which only leave them with one silver coin left every year. Village Cheif just extorted all the villagers in the name of protection.
And if anyone fails to pay taxes to him, they would be thrown out of the village, their house and farmland would also be burned down.
So the only way their family of two feeds is on the leftover wheat and then one silver coin. His mom always saves as much wheat as she could so they can survive. And it was only today that she would spend some money this year to buy a chicken.
Although a chicken is not that expensive. For their measly salary, it was still too much for them to eat it even once a year. That was the reason why the previous owner of this body went on hunting yesterday.

As people of the village don't usually have enough supply to nurture their talents. The kingdom of Golden Falcon helps them by sending the caged beasts every year. Every sixteen year old is given a chance to tame any animal from the group.
Most of the males choose Razer Hounds, while females go for Red Horned Cow or Bull. Although taming them is a little hard, many of the villagers still succeed. And if anyone fails to do so, their life becomes very miserable.
To earn so much tax without a beast is like breaking a mountain with a wooden stick. It is almost impossible if no one in a family has a beast tamed.
The Red Horned Bull that Ambrose's mom has tamed, help her Plough her fields and the waste it produces help the Mana Wheat grow faster.
Most of these beasts feed on normal wheat straw waste and weeds grown on the field. They are of much help to these villagers. That is why everyone hopes that their kids also tames a useful beast so a load of taxes get removed from their head.
So if a family in the village has both a Razer Hound and a Red Horned Bull or Cow. They can afford to pay taxes and even eat meat regularly to become more powerful.
The previous owner of the body was very ambitious, he wanted to be in his best condition for tomorrow's beast taming event. That is why he went on hunting with a group of males in their village so that he could get some beast meat.
However, he only ended up unconscious after stepping on a snake. Although someone helped him by giving him an antidote he still died and only because of that Ambrose was able to transfer in this body.
Ambrose clenched his first and looked at the ceiling of their home. "Don't worry boy, Your mom is my mom from now on. I will make sure to give her a life she deserves." He decided.
He was gonna make sure to take her out of this shitty place. For that, he has to be powerful and everything now depends on him getting a good beast tomorrow.
As he was thinking of what beast he should tame a chime suddenly rang in his head.
"Congratulations, Host has activated Random Mecha System!"
And after the voice, a blue coloured screen hovered in front of his eyes. Ambrose looked at it and at first, got afraid however after some time he almost let out a moan of pleasure. "Yes!" He raised his hand in the air.

"The Golden Finger has finally arrived." He has seen this in multiple games and Animes, someone that gets Isekai gets a golden finger. An excited expression appeared on his face he quickly focused on the screen.
There were only two options on the screen, the first one was Rings Owned and the second one was 'Draw A Ring' button below which was written free.
And at the top of the screen, there was written, 'Random Mecha System.'
"Random Mecha System?" He tried to speak to the system, however, no reply came. He knew that generally, a system could talk to the host, however, no matter how hard he tried nothing happened.
He then looked at the Draw Button, there was free written below it. He gulped his saliva and then clicked the button since it said free it should be no harm to clicking it.
Just as he did so another mechanical voice rang in his ears. "Congratulations, Host has randomly drawn out Snipe Suit. Put on the Ring to use it." The voice then turned silent.
"Ring? What Ring?" Ambrose said, expecting a reply however nothing came. He then looks at the blue screen and suddenly his eyes widened. He almost let out a scream of terror.
Below the Draw button was written 'Ten Low-level Spirit Spirit Stones' which only meant one thing to draw out next Mecha he needed Ten Low-level Spirit Stones.
"Why don't you just rob a bank instead!" Ambrose yelled. What is spirit stone, even the village chief would only have ten low-level spirit stones as his life savings? To extort so much money, what kind of Golden Finder was this?
After some time Ambrose let out a sigh and then accepted his fate. It was better than nothing. He then looked at the Rings Owned sections and there was numeral one in front of it.
Ambrose clicked on it and the screen changed there was only one ring he possessed, "SnipeSuit" he spoke out loud. There was a question mark at the end of the column and he clicked on it.
A panel of words popped in front of his face.
[ Snipe Suite - A human size Mecha excellent for sniping. Increase stealth and agility to level nine Body Master. And the sniper with it Can even kill a Martial Master level one if shot at a vital spot from the Point Blank. All lower than a Martial Master can be killed at a range of fifty meters the lower the level the more distance host can use]
[A level five Body Master could be killed from five hundred meters away if visible from the thermal scope.]
[To use this mecha, the host has to wear the Mecha Ring and imagine the suite forming around his body and to summon the sniper he has to do the same.]
When Ambrose read it a surprised expression appeared on his face. His eyes widened and he almost let out maniacal laughter. This is too overpowered a level one Martial Master could be killed by this gun.
What are Martial Masters, they were only found in big towns and the Golden Falcon kingdom. With this suite, no one in this town would be able to match him. He can even kill Village Chief if he wants.
However, after some time he cooled down as he knew that killing a Martial Master is not as simple as it seemed. He has to take a Point Blank Shot at him to succeed and even that on vital parts.
No Martial Master would be stupid enough to stand and wait for him to shoot at his vital parts. And to even kill a Level Nine Body Master he needed to be at least in fifty meters range.
Which is also quite hard to accomplish without getting noticed. He took in a deep breath and calmed himself down. Although he can't kill that Village Chief, he can still feed his mom some meat now.
No matter what the result of tomorrow's Beast Taming Event is. He could still have enough power to supply meat for both himself and his mom.
Due to the lack of Beast Meat his mom's cultivation has stuck at Body Master level three. And he himself is only at Body Master Level two. All the Meat that his mom has ever cooked after her husband died has been feed to him, now its time to pay it back.

The Legendary Class
At the height of the Age of Terror, humankind lay shattered, its few survivors scattered like dust in the wind. It is said that at the brink of extinction, the Gods intervened and blessed five champions known as “The Titans” with legendary classes. To this day, every small child dreams of obtaining a legendary class. Whether there is any truth to this ancient tale is unknown, but it is a certainty that in each generation perhaps a handful of those children will, in fact, obtain a legendary class. But, if they ever did, the Gods no longer answer prayers, and, in modern times, a legendary class is often far from a blessing.

A Broken World [Dropped Pending Rewrite]
This work has been dropped- because I am rewriting it. Look forward to the new and improved "A Broken World," now available HERE on Royal Road! Three thousand years ago, Demonic creatures invaded the world. Though their power seemed irresitable, a band of heroes managed to steal the knowledge of summoning rituals and worlds from them and created, "The Millenial Summoning." A powerful magic that would bring forth a being from another world with the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods with him. Teaching prayers and invocations that blessed humanities legions and began to push back the demons, founding of the "The Church of the Spoken Word" rose to power and a stalemate was reached. Two thousand years ago, that stalemate was broken by the second casting of "The Millenial Summoning," and the arrival of "The First Sorceress," who taught humanity the basics of magic and enchanting. With the power of the Sorceress, the mages, and the priests the tide turned and the Demonic hordes began to be shoved back, signaling hopes of a golden age for mankind. One thousand years ago, the hopes of final victory and a new dawn for mankind were dashed by traitors who slew the participants of the ritual and took their places, using the ritual to bring forth a godlike being from the demons home world, "The Demon King," for no human knew his name, erased millenia of growth reducing humanity to barely a fragment of its former glory. Now the ritual is being cast again, and a new being is being summoned... In our world, after nearly two decades of studious work, Luke Jaeger is making his dream come true. Working and going to school full time, sacrificing his health and social life in his youth, Lucas obtained Doctorates in genetics and virology, as well as associate degrees in business and accounting. The modern world is not easy, and despite it nearly driving him mad from stress, this was the bare minimum he needed to be approved for a business loan to start a company focusing on commercial genetic therapy. Despite the challange of getting his business running, Lucas feels that his work has finally paid off. Lucas's car never left the banks lot, nor was Lucas ever seen again in our world.

System Prime
The legend of System Prime is one that has been told and retold many times over the eons. About how she, along with her trusted partner, travelled the worlds of Ahunna (a.hoon.a), sharing the [Gift of System] to all who needed it. It is a great story. Somewhat factual too. As long as you overlook the fact that System Prime was never a woman. —— If this story seems familiar to you, then congratulations, you're psychic. Well, that or you've read it before on my old account, Eli8iR, which I had to delete because of a probably silly reason that will need a shitton of weed to make me spill. If you don't recognize this story, then unfortunately you're not psychic. On the bright side though, it has been scientifically proven that reading my stories might make you psychic. Or blind. But that only happened twice, and those guys should not have badmouthed my work. Enjoy.

Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least. All the chapters are rough drafts that will be edited in the future. The cover is by this user from pixiv: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/4545042
