"Well?" inquired Sarah as she reclined within my lap, "What do you think?"
We were both within a small room, a closet really, nearest our bedchamber. Our own eyes watched as the one who called herself Azazel was pulled along with a few other children in order to play within the garden many a gnome had created for our viewing pleasure. Not only this, but it was, and still is, full of deadly and poisonous plants which could slay thousands with only a few drops of their distilled oils. Yes. I have such a thing, which were there for the sole purpose of viewing their beauty beneath the lonely, full moon within the heavens above.
No. None of the children, or those of whom could not endure such a place due to their own mortality, were allowed to be within a few metres of this part of the garden. Instead, they played within the personal garden created beneath the window of our bedchamber. It is here that we witnessed the children, Azazel number two, and my Chosen as they frolicked, play-fought, and dozed within the grass and against the many oak trees planted about.
For those of whom are not aware, my gardens span the length of a small village. Everything that grows there are immune to the various diseases and damages done by the many pests. Hence the reason why there are many within the Pantheon, and the worlds themselves, who desire such a thing. As even the smallest of seedlings carries within it the ability to expand its immunities of the all other plants within a set parametre.
Yes. Such a thing does exist, and I own their monopoly.
"Hmm," my voice hummed softly as I scratched the back of her neck slowly. Of which caused her body to lean into my strokes, whilst she released something akin to a purr as her eyes closed to convey pleasure for such a gesture. "She was not allowed to lie, but that does not mean she could be hiding something."
"Such as?" Her body turned enough so that it was now straddling my person as we stared into each other's eyes at this point, and nuzzled into my neck fur.

"Even though the Truth spell compels a person to speak the truth, that doesn't mean the target could not locked a portion of it somewhere in their mind. Without truly digging through that which they call the 'Mind', I cannot say whether or not I believe her."
"But what about her being 'Azazel', and Mother is called Azrael?" Yes. The God King of the Azzarathean Pantheon is Sarah's own mother. Of which has been established as a fact long ago, even more so with the one we know of today. Therefore, I am her son-in-law, and Nox is her grandson.
"Does no one remember that time period?"
Her head shakes quickly, causing the wolfish fur around her neck to fluff up somewhat from the gesture, "No. Most of them became Gods and Goddesses a few cycles after I was born. So I doubt she allowed any of the originals to survive."
"Hmm," once again, my voice hummed softly, but was interrupted by the fact that she had decided to kiss my lips. Of which I responded with my own, and upon our release, we found ourselves within the bed itself. Enjoying ourselves together for quite some time.
*
This event would last for nearly a full turn, and by that time she was well spent from the... Well, many, if not all, should know of what I speak upon. What was the most interesting piece I had gained from all of this, was her beautiful smile as her mind journeyed to a blissful slumber in order to recuperate from the lasting effects of our copulation.
Yes. Such an innocent gesture was enough to make my stilled heart flutter as I bore witness to such a thing, and caused it to grow by leaning over to kiss the right side of her muzzle. Of which was exposed from beneath several torn layers of sheets and bed-fluff. For our enjoyment held the use of claws and teeth, and with such an application, it did not stand much of a chance against us.
In any case, my simple gesture caused her lips to stretched larger, and snuggled more into the fragmented pillows and bedding as I stood up slowly. This led to my person vanishing from the room, and into the grey-stone hallway, whereupon I did startle a pair of my Chosen. Of which were a metallic, four-armed Fox-kin female and a Bearwoman with the same skin and extra arms. These two had been giggling when I had appeared, pointing towards the bedchamber I shared with Sarah, but then snapped to a salute upon noticing my person.

To which I simply waved at them, and spoke of how they must notify my person in the event that my wife wakes up. This led to some confusion, in which I chuckled due to the fact that they could not understand how it is that she was still asleep when I was still up and about.
"My dear Chosen," my voice was full of a slight merriment as I began my explanation, "whilst the stamina and endurance of the Undead, as we all are, is infinite, the bodies of those who are to be infallible Gods and Goddesses are not. Understand?" This led to my left eye winking quickly in order to drive the hint home into their minds. Which led to their slow realisation and another giggling session.
What was strange about this was the fact that they gave their condolences to my person. It was rather odd for one such as I, even when the Fox-kin, whose name was Annasha, explained further, "Because she can't keep up with you, Master."
"Ah, but that is where you are wrong, Annasha. For upon devouring and absorbing the energies within a God's magick core, will she become more in heat. Therefore, she will be able to keep up for far longer. It is quite the aphrodisiac for one such as she, but I do not know if it'll work on you Chosen."
"Why not?" asked the Bearwoman, whose name was Kana.
"This is due to the fact that we have not tested such a thing just yet. Ah, but fret not," my right paw sank into the air between us when I noted their downcast eyes, and pulled out several cores from a few of the Minour Gods and Goddesses we had gathered from within the Abyss and upon Forge, "I shall be giving these to Rojaahn and his people so that they may see what may occur when an Undying such as yourselves consumes them.
"Will you be able to gain more strength like Brutus has, or will you become in a great heat like Sarah had succumbed to? Only time will tell." Upon so saying, the cores vanished from my palm, and would appear within Rojaahn's possession soon to find out if there was any aphrodisiac properties for the Chosen. As well as to be as thorough as possible with each core. For they were necessary to Sarah if she wished to proceed with such nightly activities at an extended length.
Afterwards I did leave the pair whose eyes shone greatly as they watched my person leave and head off towards our more personal garden. Whereupon I did come upon a sight which was as adorable and confusing as one could come up with for children. For you see, the multitude of children were tasked with "slaying the monsters" who were played by Shauu and Sia. Of whom were guarding the kidnapped "Princess Azazel". The two chosen were performing this guard duty close to an oak tree with the girl-child within, as it was her "prison".
What came next was a large amount of yipping and yapping filling the air as each of them pounced upon, clawed at, and nipped at the bodies of my Chosen. These two then pretended to be "slain" by their combined efforts, and successfully "rescued the princess". After such a thing was completed, the children then rushed over to the adoptive parents and guardians with many apologies towards their persons. To which they gathered each within their four arms to respond with a great hug, and much cooing to soothe their persons as they spoke of how much fun they had playing the "monsters".
Though, of course, the pair had been considered as actual monsters since the beginning of our venture into the worlds of the Azzarathean Pantheon once upon a time. However, that tale will not be mentioned any time soon, and if you wish to read up upon it, then I would suggest journeying to a nearby library. Whereupon you, and all others, will be able to read the many adventures and misadventures we each had throughout our long life.

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?
