The area we first appeared in was familiar to we who are from the world around us. For we were within the temple near the castle, within the city of New Wair. Whereupon I did send my servants outward, as the systems governing the world had restarted its settings to the point of just before their conversion to the Azzarathean Pantheon. Though, before they scattered upon the winds, each was given an illusion which would keep the guards and armies away from trying to slay their person. What is more, a pouch containing fifty coins of gold, silver, and copper was given out to each of them so that they may enjoy a small break until I called them back. However, Brutus was held back, as I would have need of his person when it came time to create our very own Pantheon.
Once everyone dispersed, my form became my Kobold self as I turned to speak with my Lich King, "How would you like to rule over a set of land upon our world, Brutus?"
"My Lord God?" His illusory head tilted towards his right shoulder whilst his eyes shone with great confusion.
"Brutus," my clawed hands rested upon his shoulders as I gazed into his eyes, "I am offering you a place to truly begin your own legacy, and where you will begin is here." We both moved outside where my energies teleported us to the walls of the castle, and I waved my right arm over all of New Wair. "All of this, Brutus. Our first home upon Terra, I want you to have New Wair. No. Necropolis."
This left the other stunned, whilst my right hand called up a screen which was tapped several times upon its surface. Afterwards came a great rumbling as the city around us slowly changed their shapes into what we know of today. One of spires, curves, and box shape buildings formed themselves from structures below. Whereas the castle, temple, and the old cathedral slowly melded together, creating the Alabaster Castle that we all know and love. This whiteness soon spread outwards, however, and wasn't my own doing, to be honest.
No. I did not wish for the stones and wood down below us to become the same colour of the castle, but did not mind it. Instead, I simply shrugged whilst the populace, which came into being shortly before I gave the command to change their city. This startled their persons, but slowly ignored it due to the fact that that which governed over their persons caused it to be part of their own histories. Not to mention that they each slowly changed from being Human, to something else. Such as monsters or simple Beastmen and Kin.

"Ah," I sighed with great content, "Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yes, My Lord God. Yes it is," spoke my right hand in all things, "And it is for me to rule over?"
"Yes, Brutus, but I believe we should make it more... official." To which he cocked his head towards his left shoulder whilst I simply chuckled, "My dear Brutus, we need to let them all know that they have a new King, should we not?"
"Ah," his illusory lips stretched into a grin, "When shall we begin with that, My Lord God?"
"How about right now?"
*
Although I said this with all seriousness, the fact of it all is that it took nearly a full sennight to prepare. Such as who was to be invited to attend, the types of foods to prepare, rooms to open up for the more influential guests. Everything and anything, truth be told.
Ah. A few of you are wondering about the old King, Samiah the Greedy, LD, RS, and the annoying Princess, correct? Yes. Well, do you remember when I had taken the strange cubes containing their essences out of Terra? The bodies that they were to inhabit are no longer within the system. Therefore, they did not exist, and neither did the princess. Of whom were sent off and into the reincarnation cycle of Azzarath as per their wish. Which meant that there was no one to claim the throne when all was said and done.
Hence, Brutus was set up to be its next ruler.
Yes. There were others who desired it, but within the sennight, nearly sixty percent of those who would try to claim the throne were dead. Whereas the others were forced to follow I and my Lich King's ruling from that point onwards. However, that number would soon dwindle to zero to the turn before the event, as even they were against having one who was considered to be a lowly Guard their new king.
Speaking of which, the night before the coronation for Brutus, I and mine had multiple visits from would-be assassins who were either sent by relatives of the late King, or vengeful family members of those we had butchered for not following our persons. To say that the halls and bedrooms were painted well would be an understatement. For the amount of beings who attempted to slay Brutus, my self, and all others equated to a small army of nearly two hundred. Quite the feat, to be sure, but nothing we could not handle.

This led to us laughing uproariously as we took to butchering those who dared to invade our home. Of which led to it being known simply as the "First Night of Madness", where the laughter of our persons mingled with the cries of sorrow, and the shouts of rage wafted over the city of Necropolis far below. Yes. It is in the history books, and yes, there will be six more of these "Nights" to follow.
For now, though, came the day of the coronation, as well as a few more subtle attempts at taking his and our lives. No. They did not know that we were Undead, and how could they? This world never had them to begin with, which meant that their magicks had little to no affect upon our persons. Not to mention the fact that they were more equipped with swords, spears, and arrows than hammers and axes, but I digress.
The Great Hall is the same as it was outside the space we are currently within, but with more white than anything else. This was simply from the fact that it was still brand new, and Brutus wasn't set apart with the reigns of control just yet.
For the time being, the Lich King knelt upon a pillow of red satin with his back to a large crowd of Humans, Beastmen and women, as well as strange creatures only found within your worst nightmares. Within the back of this crowd stood Hephaestus who wore his blacksmithing outfit, the Titan Kronos as himself, the twins wearing almost nothing as per usual, and Beelzebub who decided to wear a robe with a pair of leathered wings folded across his chest. Each of them fidgeted to some degree, as after this came the creation of the Pantheon of Terra, and with it came their divinities.
Why did they wish it so vehemently? Well, it all came down to them being cast out into the Abyss for having such things. To be honest, you will have to read more within the histories of their world to understand why this was so.
In any case, the outfit worn by the first servant, the Lich King of the Spirit, Brutus, was of a plain, snow-white robe. Over this was several kilograms of gold chains which, apparently, was important to the people of Necropolis. In that it gave his person the authorities that were only given to the reigning monarch. Upon his back, however, was a cape of violet and crimson silks which flowed halfway towards the first of the crowd. Even to this day, I do not know why this was necessary, but no matter.
In front of his person, which was between him and the throne, was my person. To my right was Sia who held a violet coloured pillow with a spire-like crown of gold resting upon it. Upon my left was Shauu, who held a longer pillow with a golden sceptre resting upon it. These two would allow his person to be viewed as the monarch, and the ruler of Necropolis forevermore.
"Do you Brutus, Lich King of the Spirit, swear to uphold the laws and edicts of your Lord High God, of which had been called 'The Laws of Terra'?" My voice boomed throughout the Hall we were within, silencing all other voices.
"I do, My Lord High God," came his own voice, which did its best to boom just as loud.
"Then take up this sceptre as your gift of rulership," to which was a cue for Shauu to move to his left. Whereupon she did kneel before his person, bowed her head, and held up the sceptre for him to take.
This led me to continue with, "Do you Brutus, Lich King of the Spirit, pledge your entire being to the protection of Necropolis, and by extent, Terra? As well as to lead the armies of Necropolis against all of those who would dare to stand against 'The Laws of Terra'?"
"I do so swear, My Lord High God."
To which I beckoned Sia over with the crown, and gingerly lifted it from its resting place. This was then placed upon his own head, and was bid to rise and face those before his person. "Rise now and greet your subjects; those of whom have come to witness your rise to the throne," I then lifted my eyes from his person, and stepped to his immediate right as my voice boomed out once more, "All hail King Brutus, Lich King of the Spirit, ruler and monarch over Necropolis and all her territories. Long live the King!"
"Long live the King," came one voice among many, and was repeated many times over.
"Hail King Brutus," shouted another, and was also repeated.
