"I will not speak of your involvement with one another, but if you require a room, simply say the word and one will be created for you three." These words came from my own being, as the Kitsunes were laid upon a set of quilts left by Sia and the other Chosen. Whereas I simply sighed heavily as such words were spoken to a sheepish Beelzebub.
"Didn't know it would take so long," he spoke softly, as his person was directed to sit before my person whilst two portals opened up in order to summon Hephaestus and Kronos. However, only the Titan stepped through the portal, whilst a Dwarven representative stepped through the other.
"Hephaestus apologises for not appearing," this Dwarf spoke in a gruff voice, and appeared before us as an Adamantine. Of whom wore only a thin, hemp robe the colour of seafoam, as the skin of one such as this could withstand the might of a Primordial creature. This then bowed low, and was offered up the seat in which the Blacksmith God normally sat upon.
As for the Titan? He was in the form of a Primordial Demon of Fire, even though he is of Time itself. Of which seemed to be the norm with his person, as it always unbalanced anyone that was considered to be an enemy. No. We were not enemies, but allies, which did not draw from the fact that he still chose to "mess with people", as the saying went.
For those of whom are confused as to what it means to be a Primordial creature, it is simply a state of being which is purely made up of one element. No. His body is not an Elemental's, as those are made up of traces of other substances holding everything together. This one was made up of nothing beyond pure fire, and was held together by a dominating will. Of which was Kronos, who had taken control over an elemental when his own children rose up against his person, and slew the Titan's original body.
Yes. I did lend my assistance to one such as he when we discovered his cage, as it were, within the depths of Al'nuul. After speaking with him at such length, it was decided that I and mine assist his person in striking down his own children. Of whom held their own Pantheon, but was crumbling quickly with his firstborn's incestuous deeds.

Ah, but that one can also be read within any library upon our world of Terra, as well as within Al'nuul.
"Ah, Karastak," he sighed slowly, sinking into a seat offered to his person. One of which did not burn or melt upon contact with his person, so that he may relax fully, "So good to see you once more."
"To you as well, Titan Kronos," came my reply, as I gave a short salute to one such as he. Of which would have caused my servants some distress, as they believed all others should salute or bow to my person. However, I chose to do this due to the fact that he had long ago earned my respect.
"Hmm," his voice hissed softly as it hummed, "Have I missed anything since your first summons?"
My own head slowly shook from side to side, "Other than the fact that I now have a way to take back our world of Terra without the need of a third party? No."
Of which caused his own to nod a few times before stopping. For his mind had finished processing what I had said, and the eyes within the flame's form widened comically as it took up half of his body. "You mean we are close to finally completing your promise to us?"
"Yes, Titan Kronos, and I shall be keep said promise once I have the world under my absolute control." To which he did laugh uproariously, and did cause his flames to soar into the space above our person. For he was greatly elated at the thought of regaining his lost divinity after so long.
"When shall we begin with the final preparations?" His enthusiasm did not last, however, for my own head shook itself slowly once more.
"Apologies. For although I've gained the ability to traverse my world at a whim, I do not know if it'll fully work. Therefore..."
"You need a test subject in order to gain the necessary data, correct?" chimed in the Dwarf, of whom had been listening in intently, whilst Beelzebub had somehow acquired the Kitsune twins' persons within his arms.
"Correct, good Dwarf."
"Hmm," his own humming sounded much like that of iron vibrating in the air, "We do have some Homunculi in stock, and are in need of testing. Will this work? We can have them here within a mark or two."
"Do so, and I shall begin preparations to transport their persons. Will you be able to add a recording device to them?"
"Of course, Lord Karastak. How else will we proceed with such things?"

The Homunculi, a pair of Humanoids devoid of any features beyond a hauntingly endarkened pair of eyes and a waterfall of fire-red hair stood before my person. These were both indistinguishable with my own pair of eyes, as the Dwarf in question revealed that the eyes and hair were interchangeable with a variety of others. Of which was then shown to my person until it fell upon the colours before my eyes.
This also included their bodies, which can be exchanged for a wide variety of limbs, torsos, and heads to be used as they saw fit. However, for this experiment I simply desired two Humans in leather armour and wielding a pair of short swords. These were going to be simple scouts for my experiments, in order to discern whether or not the way to our world of Terra was safe to traverse. For I would not send my person, nor my servants to such a place if there was a high chance of losing them forevermore.
"If you would, Lord Karastak," called out the Adamantine Dwarf, of whom had a few too many metallic instruments in the shape of squares and rectangles lined up outside the area in which I had called upon my new knowledge to create a white spell circle. Of which was the exact same as Azazel's, as it was taken directly from her mind.
These instruments, by the by, were used to measure the stress of the creatures' bodies, as well as to record everything they have seen whilst upon our world. Of which would allow our persons to view the degree of safety within, as well as to allow us to proceed from that point onwards.
"Of course," I muttered, as my energies did pour into the spell circle. This then created an endarkened portal full of violet and crimson lightnings which crackled from the centre, outwards. Yes. The portal was of my own design, as the Dwarf desired a swift exit for his tools in the event of some unforeseen accidents occurring.
"Now then, let us see what can be seen."

"Ah, what a nap," stretched the False God, of whom had awakened from his "reboot", and slowly walked towards his throne. Once upon it, he called up the system in order to take stock, only to find it in disarray. "What?!" his voice echoed throughout the space he was currently in, and swiftly ran over to the panel upon the wall nearest the throne. Whereupon he did press a red square and danced a little whilst waiting, "Come on, come on. Pick up, pick up, pick-"
"Yes, Draxis? What do you want?" replied an irritated voice, one that sounded exhausted.
"What happened to my system? Everything is a mess! What happened?" The False God's voice howled into the panel, which was where the voice came from.
"What do you mean 'what happened'? Your whole system became corrupted to the point of you and it needing a res- What do you remember, Draxis?"
"I remember taking a quick nap after the Tribunal ruled in my favour of governing Terra over that slime of a minour God, Karastak. Why?"
"Oh... dear..." The female on the other end grew quiet as the sound of fingers tapping against something akin to glass flowed outward, "I didn't think it'd be that corrupted..."
"What became corrupted?" His body shook slightly at the thought of a system becoming corrupted, as it would also spread to the one in charge of such a thing, and both would be reset back to a "save point" that was not as corrupt.
"You, you ass," growled the other, "You and your system became corrupt due to your own negligence, and no, I don't know what caused it. If I did, we might have been able to salvage the system somewhat, but right now we have other issues."
"Which is?"
"Well, for starters, it's been almost a full century for you. Which tells us how badly the whole thing is. For another, you still need to set up a scenario for your... What the hell?" More tapping ensued on the other end, of which was of a quicker pace than the last.
"What's happened?" asked the False God, of whom was very nervous, as the tapping continued to escalate until an exasperated shout erupted from the panel.
"Dammit all to fucking hell!" the female screamed, as the sounds of parchment and heavy machinery was thrown to the floor and walls echoed throughout his space.
"What-?" he began, but was interrupted by the other.
"Someone's hacked the system, and locked me out. Which means, stupid Draxis, that whoever corrupted your system is so very close to controlling the world of Terra. If this occurs, then the prisoners of that world will be released. I do not have to tell you what that means if they get out."

AN2: And once again, just a friendly reminder that this IS a game world. It just doesn't have the pop-up blue screens all over the place, else people might be kind of angry with the MC's stats.

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.
