AN: Bit of a short chapter today, folks, but it reveals quite the twist in the story whilst still saying nothing. Well, that's my hope anyways.

As per usual, thank you all for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

Unbeknownst to my person, however, the system which entrapped our world called Terra in its grasp blared a bright scarlet light throughout the small space of the False God. "What is happening?" his voice howled above the din, as a wail slowly pierced his mind, "What is going on?" Quickly, the armoured body stood up, and ran towards a panel on the far side of the area. This held a few odds and ends that would make any of the engineers drool with envy.

Within such a panel was a rough texture of shadowed material, and next to it was a small, vermillion coloured button. Of which he pressed frantically, dancing in place as a neutral voice permeated the air, "Yes? What is it, and why is it so noisy?"

"The system is blaring due to something happening down upon the world," replied the other, "I don't know what to do, because this has never happened before."

A slow sigh passed through the material, as the sounds of light tapping entered his mind. Of which caused the light and sounds to cease, whilst the other sounds continued. "Let. Me. See... Ah, here it is. It seems one of your charges has disappeared. Any ideas what happened to it?"

"No," came the reply, to which the other sighed once more.

More tapping ensued, as whoever was on the other side of the contraption continued to do as they pleased. "Well, it seems... Huh? Is your system down?"

"Well, yes... somewhat, but I don't see why that has anything to-"

"You idiot," screamed the unknown individual, whilst causing the False God to cringe, "Don't you know things like this could cause problems? Such as the people down below going berserk, or the spirits surrounding the place could easily possess one of your charges and walk out into Azzarath. You do know the whole purpose of the place is to keep them in, right?"

"Well, yes," mumbled the other, "Since I've become the 'God' some five hundred years ago, I've become more intimately aware of the purpose of Terra."

"That's good to know, Warden Draxis," growled the voice which called him to flinch, "Because if any of them escape, it'll be your head on the chopping block. So fix your system before Azazel gets wind of your failures, while I focus more on my own problems."

"Oh yeah?" his voiced perked up at this new revelation, and was quite pleased that the other did not continue to berate his person, "What's going on with your end?"

"There's a war happening down on my governed world," sighed the neutral voice, of which tried to voice a twinge of hatred within, but ultimately failed, "It's rather strange, to be honest. There's a host of Undead that cropped up out of nowhere, and has been terrorising the surface for some time. Yet, it seems to shirk away from every major city it comes across, and only targets the outlying villages and towns."

"Is there something or someone controlling them?"

"Well, that's the thing, really; no one is directing the forces. Well, not that I've seen, anyways, but the thing is that when the host came upon the Humans of my world, they slaughtered them down to the babe. Of course, this brought my world up to an O ranking, but do you know what the strangest bit is? Nira's desert world dropped down to an X."

"What?!" cried out the False God, of whom couldn't believe what he was hearing, "How is that even possible?"

"No idea, but then again, she doesn't have that many people to begin with. So having almost everyone gone would make anyone anxious. However, the others aren't fairing so well either."

"What do you mean?"

"Everyone within the pantheon is experiencing something similar. To the point where only Higher Immortals are allowed within the worlds." This statement was enough to cause his person to collapse upon his knees, to which he stared blankly as the other continued with, "Azazel has no idea what's going on, but is enjoying herself nonetheless. Which means Draxis, you had better fix your system. Because if something drastic were to occur upon your world, then none of us will be able to come to your aid. The same goes for us as well, as only I was able to rush to Nira's aid when her world became an X.

"However, that ended when my own became an R, which was when you called me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've a mess I need to clean up." Upon these words, whoever it was upon the other side left, leaving the other to ponder about what to do if something happens to his world when he could not call upon the others for assistance.

"I can't just close it down," he muttered to himself, "Azazel will have my head if she finds out, and it's not like I can just hand it off to someone else. Ugh, this is so frustrating."

"Am I hearing this correctly, Rojaahn?" I asked slowly as my Kobold self sat upon a blood stained, wooden chair within the laboratory. It had been a few turns since my return, of which led to my person needing to remove Robby from my presence. Permanently.

For he had decided to act upon his hormones and stalked Sarah whilst trying his best to gain her attention. Of which occurred, but not in the way he had hoped, as she had struck him hard across his left side, and sent him flying through a couple of walls made of Shadowed Onyx. As many of you know, or should know, the stone called Shadowed Onyx can only be harvested from the deepest pits within the dungeon called "The Tower of Babel". This stone is only available to my person, and any of those of whom can reach for it. However, it is also far more dense than the common varieties we have, which made the feat all the more impressive within my eyes.

In any case, when it became apparent that I had returned, Robby had the gall to believe I would not find the truth of the ordeal. Yes. He tried to hide this from my person, even going as far as to threaten those around his person with violence and death. Unfortunately for him, my servants and Undying were not intimidated by his whimsical threats. This then led to my person finding out about the entire ordeal. Of which led to my person showing everyone what happens to those who dared to come between my person and my beloved Sarah.

Such as tossing him into the darkness far below my castle.

However, not many seem to realise the significance of the darkness below. For it is a massive portal which leads directly into the Abyss. Yes, it is still there to this day, but it has been long since sealed off against any and all who desired to traverse the paths within.

After such an anticlimactic ending, Sarah needed to leave. It was unfortunate, but she has her own duties to perform. Of which led to my person seeing her off and returning to the laboratory where Rojaahn gave me the news I had not desired to hear in the least, "Yes, My Lord God, you did. They do not have any knowledge beyond where they were first seen. Be it the city from which the children came from, or the strange Humans from the cavern, they do not have any knowledge of the world as a whole."

"Not even any sort of religious texts? I do remember there being some religious fools within the city of New Wair."

"None, My Lord God," replied the Bear Beastman, of whom shook his metallic head slowly, "It is as though such a thing never occurred in the first place."

"This is troubling, Rojaahn," to which the other nodded slowly, standing off to the side whilst drinking from a mug full of a frothy beverage. No. I did not ask what it was, and had no desire to do so. For I did not have any semblance of sense when it came to the body, beyond what is known as ESP or "The Sixth Sense". That I did have, but did not appear until our time upon Sol'anon, which was quite the experience, to be sure.

"In any case, we would need the others for this next venture."

"My Lord God?" The metallic Beastman cocked his head towards the right, not understanding my words.

To which I turned towards him and "cleared it up for him", as the saying goes, "We would need to inform the original Undying, of whom have the most to gain from our war of attrition about these new developments. As well as to question Brutus if he has any gaps in his memories of before meeting my person."

"Hmm," the other hummed softly, "That may prove difficult, as he has been through much could prove to be rather irritating."

"I know of this, Rojaahn, but regardless it must be done so to figure out whether or not this is a localised occurrence, or something that happens every time there is a new set of individuals who step forth upon our world."

"Yes, but can't you summon him right now?"

"No," my head shook from side to side slowly, "For he had an errand to run upon a forested world. One of which had caused its entirety to be given a rank of X, if the reports he had sent were accurate."

This led to the other's eyes to widen greatly, as the thought of such a venture seemed too foreign to his mind. "My Lord God, this is a wonderful piece of information. How did he manage to accomplish such a task?"

This led to my own lips grinning quite menacingly, as my own voice built up with a slow laughter, "He's killed off most of the Humans."
