"You stupid bitch, how dare you disrupt everything with your stupid pride!" Within a small room nearest the lion king's throne room was both the king and the female who tried to arrest the strange beastman. It was here that the king had order his guards to take hold of the other's limbs, whilst he repeatedly beat her with closed fists. "He is from the second continent, and is not beholden to our laws. With him gone, the people are in uproar; there is violence in the streets and many of our own guards, mercenaries, and the adventurers have left the city in search of him and his.
"Not only that, but the farmers are refusing to pay their taxes, and whose. Fault. Is. That?!" With each word, the beatings grew more severe, up to the point of drawing blood from her muzzle and abdomen. Whereas the guards holding her form simply looked away and flinched at every impact. "Throw her into the dungeon," his growl echoed throughout the room, "Let her rot while the city burns around us, as I try to salvage the situation at hand."
Yes. During such a time the female had tried to explain the situation from her point of view, but failed completely within a couple of turns after the whole of the city realised the market outside the walls was gone. Once word had spread, a guard from the castle drunkenly bragged how his mistress "saved" the city by running the odd beastman out of its lands. This one, along with the other spearmen, were part of a taskforce sent to accompany the female on her way back to the capitol and back.
Which means they were not here when it all began, and upon returning found a large group of ignored complainants. Of which caused her to become horrified once everything reached her ears, and set out to arrest this individual who would dare upset the delicate balance they had upon this continent. However, if she had instead consulted her husband, King Ramses the First, none of this would have come to pass. Therefore, she had to endure the beatings, ranting and ravings, as she was tossed into a cell to be forgotten.
"What to do? What. To. Do?" grumbled the king, as he poured himself a glass of strong liquor from a crystalline decanter upon a nearby shelf. "What a mess they've made."

"In that, we have an agreement," spoke an unknown voice which startled the king so much he dropped the glass cup in his hands. Of which caused the speaker to laugh at the display before it.
"Who-?"
"Come, come now, my dear 'King'," sneered the person as they walked into the torchlight. Thus revealing themselves to be a large breasted female with an hourglass figure in a tight fitting leather outfit which appeared to be a size too small. This person did not have any ears atop its head, nor a tail upon the backside, but instead had a pair of stretched out ears upon the sides of its head. Whilst the raven black hair was tied into a bun so as to reveal such a sight to the world.
Indeed, but the face of such a creature was standard amongst those of Japanese origin, and had a pair of crack glasses upon the bridge of its button-like nose. Perhaps one would view such a creature to be "cute" or "adorable", if they did not take into account the giant meat cleaver attached to the female's backside. Yes. It deigned to wield such a weapon, and has done so with expertise, as it twirled the weapon around as though it weighed nothing at all.
"Great," drawled the king, "Nero had to send the 'Scourge'. Does he have so little faith in me after all these years?"
"Actually he has none, and will probably have your head after he hears of the mess you caused." The "Scourge", as it was called, laughed greatly as though it spoke of a joke. As to how it achieved such a name? She earned it after singlehandedly wiping out several bases which held those who were called "rebels". Sending everyone within, females, males, children, to an early grave.
"Damnit," he growled, slamming a balled fist against the nearby wall just as a great explosion occurred to the west of the castle. "What was that?"
"Probably your warehouse district, and no, I'm not going to help," the human laughed loudly once more, before taking up the decanter full of liquor, and downing it in a few gulps. Of which caused the king to growl a dangerously low growl.

"I thank you for the use of your land, good sir," I bowed slightly to the white and silver furred Fox-kin. Of whom rubbed the tips of his whiskers as he leaned against his staff of wood and stared upon my person from beneath a pair of bushy eyebrows. Yes. I bowed to one such as he, but only just enough to nod slowly. Else my servants would cry foul for portraying my person in such a manner.

Indeed, I had done so many a time, as they had deserved such recognition for performing a great assistance to I and mine. In this instance, the male allowed us to set up the market upon a small section of his farmland far to the north of the city. Here, was many more farmlands such as this, of which converged to a single point. Whereby a small village was set up so that all may share in the bounty of the farmland. However, such a place was taken over by the lion king some fifty cycles ago, and the populace was forced to pay a heavy tax for living so close to the city they had erected.
Now? Now the city was in chaos due to my absence, and it was the royal's fault for chasing I and my market away. Though I do not revel in these facts, as it pushes my plans farther ahead of schedule, it was enough to know that the king desired my person to return in order to quell the uprising. For the time being, we would stay within the boundary of the village's walls, as the dwarves and hired hands continue to sell the high quality materials, foodstuffs, and sweets at extremely low prices.
"Bah," the Fox-kin shook his staff as though removing such words from the air around our persons, "Think nothing of it. You helped my daughter and grandchildren. This is the least I could do to help." If you can recall, there was a pair of red furred Fox-kin children who begged for sweets and head pets during the first turn of the market opening near the city. These two, coupled with an equally red furred, female Fox-kin had appeared many times throughout each turn. Each carried with them only a single copper penny, but were allowed to carry back with them as much food, clothing, toys, tools, and sweets as they could carry. All for a single penny.
This caused those with more coin than they to try and purchase such things with a single penny, but were turned away saying that they need to spend more in order to have as much as they. Yes. This caused many to rant and rave, but I would not budge. If they had coin, then they were to spend all they had in order to purchase as much as those who held out their life savings to I and mine.
"You have helped us, good sir, and such a deed needs to be rewarded," I spoke softly, tearing my right clawed hand into the air between our bodies, and pulled out a sack full of something special.
"I could not accept this," he waved his free hand towards the sack as I held it out to him, just as his daughter and grandchildren appeared beside him.
"What are you not accepting this time?" spoke the red furred adult, as she placed her hands upon her slim waist and leaned over to glare at the elder. This turn, she wore a simple, blue silk dress with a linen shawl wrapped around her head and neck whilst her ears stood straight up. Around her throat, however, was a necklace of milky-white orbs strung together by a thin, gold wire. By the by, these orbs were called "Pearls", and have never been seen before upon this world of Azara.
"He's helped us enough as is, Lenore," the elder spoke hastily, shrinking from the glare of the other as though he were naught, but a child being scolded by a parent.
"We need his help, like it or not. So stop being so prideful and just accept his rewards." The male grumbled something about the situation being stupid, but was grateful no one else was near as his daughter scolded him.
"Want me to fetch Aunt Chloe? She's within hearing distance," she pointed in the direction of the village, where a pair of elderly Wolf-kins were slowly making their way out and towards our general direction.
"Aunt Chloe! Aunt Chloe!" The children shouted, dancing about our persons before dashing off with their little tails wagging quickly behind them.
"No," grumbled the other, who accepted the sack and opened it carefully. Of which caused him to drop it, but before it could crash into the ground and spill its contents, my magicks enacted and safely cradled it in the air between us.
"Wha-?" Began the female, as my magicks caused the sack to drift towards her, "Seeds!" Her voice was raised in awe at the multitude of seeds within individual, translucent bags.
"Yes," my voice was full of bemusement, as a curious elderly couple carrying a pair of Fox-kin children whose tails were wagging themselves into a blur approached our persons.
"Aunt Chloe! Look!" Her eyes were brimming with tears, as she revealed the contents of the sack within her hands, "With this, we don't need to rely on the city for seeds."
