《Origin Point》A2 Chapter 30

AN: Just a heads up, tomorrow's chapter is another NSFW one. The one after that will probably be one, too. No, it's not going to be like the pair from the last arc. As the first will probably be a tad confusing, and the second will be an explanation chapter leading up to what happened to the first. Will be getting to the scene with him becoming a dragon soon enough.
As always folks, thank you for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

"You are quite the hypocrite, Lord," spoke up Morticia, of whom stood over the body I now inhabited as I placed its hands over the ears, "Going so far as to attract the attention you cautioned everyone to avoid."
"Yes, yes," I whispered, not enjoying the noises which assaulted my mind, "How these mortal creatures are able to endure such atrocities upon the senses are mind boggling." I have seen many of you drunk upon ales, beers, and wines many a time. This feeling is much the same after one had drunk too much and awoke to the head throbbing. It was, in a word, debilitating.
"They are born with this ability, Lord, surely you know of this?" Asked Alucard, whose right eyebrow climbed high upon his forehead.
"Perhaps that is so, Alucard, but I was born Undead and do not remember my time alive." No. This was not true, as I did have fleeting memories of my life before this one at that time, but they are all gone now. For you see, a great sacrifice is necessary when one treads upon the path of an Ageless, and as most know, I had given up my name and legacy which was associated with it. To this end, I cannot assuredly speak of what my time before this one was, only that I had one. However, they did not know of this.
"A pity, Lord, as I am sure you must have had a magnificent life before this one," smirked Morticia, of whom held up the right arm that was once attached to the body I still inhabited.
"Ah," a stump was all that was left below the shoulder, of which I moved in a comical fashion. This allotted the pair to chuckle discretely, as she passed over the arm so that I may ply my magicks upon it. The spell I used was of regeneration, which allowed the body to rapidly attach the arm without much pain. Though, of course, this shell was disintegrating in a manner which would leave it in a pile of dust quite soon.
"If you can recall, my true form is of a great skeletal being," the pair nodded as I continued to ply my magicks in order to keep the body functioning long enough for my essences to attach itself onto another body. "Try imagining what it was like alive, and how much of a terror it instilled upon the world it inhabited."

The female's features twisted in disgust as her mind played out a scene before her, whereas the male simply glanced in my general direction as though contemplating something. "If we had met whilst you were alive," he began, but I held up a hand to stall his next words. For outside the tent came the muted noises of others.
"Go," I pointed towards the back of the tent, "Find out who or what is causing this barrier to form. If it is a what, you are to take it back to Rojaahn, in pieces if you must. However, if it is a who, then you are to secure it for my person to examine."
"What of you, Lord?" Asked Morticia , just as her other half became a pool of shadows and fled into the space between the ground and the wall.
"I am about to receive some guests. Now go," I gently pushed her towards the fading shadows, "You both have my permission to use any means to accomplish your goal. Just be sure to use caution when doing so."
"You're still a hypocrite. You know that, yes?"
To this, I simply grinned as the female vampire liquefied into a pool of shadows much similar to the other, and watched as she fled from my presence. Whereas I simply sat upon the cot, waiting for the arrival of those of whom were coming. "To cause havoc, or not to cause havoc? That is the question."
*
It wasn't a long wait, but the moments felt almost like an eternity until, at last, a large variable of beastfolk and Kin stormed into the tent. This action caused the body I inhabited to jump and shake from the appearance of so many armed and armoured individuals of varying degrees. Of whom seemed not at all pleased to find only the old body present.
"Elder Schan," squeaked a small mouse-kin female, of whom had to squeeze past the burly individuals who had stormed into the small space only a moment ago. "There was a disturbance coming from here. Are you alright? Did you see anything?"
A gasp ensued near my person, and all within turned towards it. It was here that I realised it came from the body, and that I had forgotten it needed to breathe the air in order to survive. 'I need to remember to breathe,' my mental self spoke slowly, as the right arm waved towards the other whilst the body called "Elder Schan" hunched over in a coughing fit.
"Elder Schan," squeaked the Kin once more, as it rushed over with a packet of something in its grasp.
"I'm alright," whispered an old and tired voice. If anything, this voice was the exact opposite of my own. Whilst mine was thunderous, earth shaking, and very commanding, this one seemed more humbled and subdued. However, once the creature came near, I noticed it had a much larger container within it. Although it was unrefined, it seemed to be large enough to contain much of my essences until such a time as I do not need it any longer, but how to get it alone...

"All of you leave," the Kin commanded, forcibly pushing at the individuals which seemed to desire being the heroes of this small section of the story. Unfortunately, their "victim" seemed to be unharmed, and many grumbled about such a thing. Until there was a cry for help about monsters inside the barrier, that is. Of which caused a stampede, as each desired to slay such beasts.
Upon the last to exit, the mouse-kin turned back towards its elder with a smile. To which it sighed and unconsciously pat its small head before whispering, "Good job." This caused the female to blush and preen at such a praise. It then gasped as the arm which was patting its head fell off, and the other gripped the creature's neck, hoisting it towards the body's eye level. "Good job," my own voice spoke out, shaking the earth about our persons ever so slightly, as my essences flowed into the other. It tried to scream, but could not as the body's hand gripped its neck tighter.
The whole of my essences was relatively untouched, whilst only a small percentage filled the small Kin. However, it seemed to my person that it was still not enough, as the rate of the body's disintegration was the same as all the others. "Damnit," the creature's voice squeaked, as the other's body crumpled into dust and ash, whilst this one's fingers cracked and split from simply flexing them. This led my mental self to growl at such a frail body, of which was echoed from within it.
"A creature with a larger container is still not enough. Perhaps it is best to construct a vessel rather than try to inhabit one." I had the body pace from one side of the tent, to the other, as I continued my contemplation. However, due to the senses not being up to par with my own, I failed to note a figure still lingering within the shadows of the tent.
Upon realising it was there, I quickly stretched out my hand to into a spell just as the thing in the darkness flung itself towards the body I currently controlled. ">," I intoned, just as the other landed upon it. Unlike before, where I could intone a spell beyond perfection, this one seemed incapable of handling my energies, and lost its arm as the unknown fell to the earth with ice crystals all about its legs.
"I've seen you before," my own voice echoed beneath the Kin's own, as the one before my person was the female tiger-kin with the strange outfit.
"That's-s-s re-really cr-cre-creepy, y-y-y-you know-oh?" Her voice stuttered from the cold attached to her legs, whilst the rest of her body struggled to crawl towards the other in an effort to stab it with a knife in her right clawed hand.
"You mean the voice?" The body's head cocked towards its right shoulder as I listened to a few words spoken. "I agree. However," the eyes of the one I inhabited cracked apart and fell to dust, as my own crimson orbs replaced it, "you've seen too much as is, and I cannot allow you to live." The entirety of the mouse-kin cracked as I pointed a forefinger towards the fallen tiger-kin, of whom continued to reach for my person.
"W-wait," she shouted, just as a roar thundered through the air around us of which caused my spell to falter and fizzle out, "I-I c-ca-can he-help you-ou."
"I highly doubt that." Gone from our presence were the half squeaks of the Kin's voice, and in its place was my own thunder. From within my own mind, I had summoned up my draconic body, of which was slowly pushing out from the skin of the one I inhabited. "My servants have already completed their tasks, and the barrier of yours has fallen, if the roar was any indication."
Sounds of skin and flesh being torn apart echoed about the pair of us, as my endarkened scales came into view. Organ meat, bones, blood, and the remnants of fecal matter splattered the ground as my own body stood in the epicenter. "Ah," I sighed aloud, stretching my body slowly, "Possession truly is a wonderful ability, but I shall not touch it if it means I must endure a variety of senses assaulting my mind.
"Hmm," I hummed aloud, staring down at the odd tiger-kin. Of whom shivered from sheer terror as she gazed upon my body. 'Could this one be of use?' My mental voice echoed throughout the whole of my mind, as I contemplated what course of action to take. "Bah. >," my voice shook the earth as I pointed towards the female. This spell shot out in a bright beam of amber, striking and freezing the body of the Kin in a small time bubble. This bubble will keep her from harm, yes, but will also make it easier for my person to transfer her to wherever I please.
"To cause havoc or not to cause havoc? That is the question."
