AN: This chapter has my attempt at being humourous with the MC. I think it's okay, but I doubt it'll come up often.

Anyways, thank you all for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comment, or concerns, please don't hesitate to voice them.

"You... You... Monster," howled the last remaining survivor of the group, as the rest were liquefied over the gaping maw of Gahn. The experiments, in retrospect, were quite successful in attaining some results I desired. In others, not so much, as I had to lessen each spell significantly in order to achieve the intended results. As to what the point was to the experiments? I was compiling a manuscript of sorts, along with a variety of spells, for future torturers upon our world of Terra. To what I can recall, many upon our world consider it a holy text, and follow it to a 'T'. Even if I do tell them they can deviate from what I had written down so long ago.

In any case, this survivor would not suffer alone, as Sal'ruum appeared with a boy-child wolf-kin struggling in his grasp. "No. Agar," moaned the other, as I flowed into my kobold self to receive the struggling child. It calmed down well enough when it was in my arms, as it stared upon my tinkling fur and eyes with its own widened earth-browns.

"Hello, little one," my voice rumbled, quaking the earth around us as my servants darted to and fro throughout the shadows, "Is your name Agar?" It nodded quickly, whilst staring between myself and the only sole survivor of their little village, before shivering as it caught sight of the glowing, ghostly skeletons roaming around Brutus.

"Do you know who that is?" I asked, pointing at the other. To which it nodded once more, "What is their name?"

"Agar, please d-"

"Shawna," it squeaked softly, then paled as my lips pulled back to reveal a feral grin, "No," it wailed, as my acidic breath leaked from my maw and onto its legs. Of which caused Gahn to stir next to my person.

Chuckling softly, my body flowed upwards and into my skeletal form. Of which I held the small, struggling child in a lesser clawed hand. "What are you-," began the other, who then screamed as I injected the small body with my poisons, and watched as it liquefied into the stone creature by my side.

"Burn down the village," my voice thundered around us, as the remaining villager was lifted into the air by my will alone, "I desire to see the night bathed in the glow of our rage. Let this world know of our declaration of war upon its world. For tonight, we begin our might of conquest upon this world called Azara." All around us were the silent glow of magickal fire sprouting forth from the hands of those who know of the spell. These fire, hot and emerald green in colour, absorbed the sounds around it, whilst it raged and ate the fuel of wood and flesh.

Of course, there were a few pockets of screams, as those few survivors believed we would abandon such a place after killing off those we had found. However, these screams ended abruptly the moment our fires found them. As all know upon our world of Terra, these fires are called "The Emerald Glow of Gluttony", and would continue to last until the last source of fuel was devoured. In this case it was only the village, as I had a desire to keep the forest nearby whole.

As to the other, well, it was given to those who desired sustenance, for I did not have any reason to keep it near my person any longer.

">," I intoned as my clawed hands were upon my skeletal frame. Slowly, leaf patterned scales sprouted all about my body, whilst Brutus was held back by Sia. This was because he did not enjoy the idea of my experimenting with my "perfect" body, but I needed to do this in order to know if I am able to reverse such a process. However, it seems such Gifts do not last for long on my person, as I tend to revert back within mere moments of becoming a different creature.

"Hmm," I hummed softly to myself, as the day star slowly crept its way above the horizon, and upon the smoking remains of the village around us. ">," I intoned, pointing at my left primary arm, and watched as it slowly morphed into-, "Well, this is unfortunate," my voice rumbled softly. For you see, my left arm became that of a small wolf pup's, and came with odd sensations for a time before finally reverting back. To these little experiments, I wrote down upon a separate sheet of parchment. Of which would become a separate manuscript about the various effects Alteration magicks cause upon the body of the living, the dead, and the damned.

"Master?" Called out Sal'ruum, who carried within his arms a ruined chest of melted gold and silver coins, "What is the point of what you are trying to accomplish?"

"This is simply to assuage my curiosity, and nothing more, Sal'ruum," the earth shook once more, as each of my Undying gathered about my person within a circle formation. "Relax yourselves, and open your mind to my magicks. >."

Words, written in an unknown language flowed out of my person within streams of silvered energies. Each of these streams attached themselves to the skulls and heads of my Undying servants, pouring into them the language and knowledge of this world called Azara. Yes. I shared with them everything I had taken from the inhabitants, and have done so upon other worlds. What is more, I shall continue to do this even to this day, as I choose to share with my people everything.

Yes, many have called this a grave mistake on my part, as they jealously guard their knowledge from their own followers. However, I have made my decision, which is to help each and every one of my followers to grow in strength so that they may all reach my level. Perhaps one day someone amongst you will grow in strength and step onto the path of godhood, and from there, Ageless.

For now, though, the knowledge of what I had taken from others had been successfully transferred into the minds of my servants. Those who were not skeletal had collapsed whilst those who had not helped them to their feet. As to why this had happened? If one is subjected to a massive influx of information being poured into one's mind without pause, then one's mind will simply become overloaded from the strain. Thus, they may find themselves disoriented until such information is processed thoroughly.

To my servants, this time was not long, as they were up and about within mere moments. "You should all have copies of the knowledge taken from those I had drained. What are your thoughts? Speak, for I desire to listen to them."

Each and every one of my Undying servants muttered about themselves, or within small groups, as a large, stone throne rose up behind my person. Sitting down upon it, I noticed Sia walking towards my person. "There is a small city to the north with which these Kin have dealt business with upon several occasions. Perhaps this shall be our next stop?"

"No," muttered another female Undying called Shauu, of whom had the body of a skeletal bear beastwoman, "This small city is a... port?" Her head cocked towards her right shoulder, as the word was unfamiliar to one such as her, "In any case, it will be well defended as it is vital in trade operations for the country."

"Perhaps the one to the south, then?" Called out one of the newer Undying. This one was of the race called Orangutan, of which is an orange-haired species of Ape. Which are distant relatives of the human species, but are incredibly hairy and have hands for feet. Yes. These creatures were truly a curiosity, but their brutal strengths were unrivaled. That is, until we came to their world.

In any case, this one was a male, and had metalised itself in service to my person. Of which caused his eyes to become glowing orange orbs, as opposed to sapphire, crimson, or emerald coloured eyes. He was truly a marvel to behold, but I digress.

"No, Auua," spoke up Sia, who shook her head slowly, "That one is their capital city, and is the most guarded against armies. They will have better armaments to throw against us than these did."

My skull was resting within the palm of my right clawed hand, as I continued to listen to their arguments. Many desired either or both of these places to be ground into dust by our might, but they were not the path I would take with my servants. No. For I desired a base of operations, not mindless slaughter as they seemed to demand, and Brutus seemed to be in agreement.

"We should be consolidating our strength, not showing it off to the world," he growled at the bickering Undying, of whom had turned away from the flaring of his emerald coloured eyes, "The world does not know of us, but will soon enough. Isn't that right, My Lord God?"

"Indeed," my voice shook the earth once more, as I stood tall whilst the throne of stone fell back into the earth, "However, if we are to accomplish such tasks, we shall need a base of operations. This task we shall not make light of, as we have with all others. For the completion of this will come to us when we have caused all to submit." My primary and lesser clawed hands were raised as I spoke my words, then clenched into a fist to emphasise my final word.

"For now, we shall need a place to construct our primary stronghold. Only when it is completed must we consolidate our powers, then release it upon the unsuspecting populace around us. Come," I beckoned my servants to follow behind my person, as I made my way into the forest once more, "We shall take the myths this world has cast upon the land before us, and transform it into a reality."
