"My Lord God?" Called out Brutus, as we watched the day star paint the skies with golds, violets, and blood as it set beneath the horizon to what we assumed was the west. We were upon the forest edge at this time, watching the small village known as Tokah closed its gates of large, dead trees for the evening. There was no sign of any humans within and without, of which was only full of Kin and beasts. This small village was what sent the adventurers to hunt the Scarab wolves, and many of them seemed nervous as they have not returned from what should have been an easy job.
"We are ready, My Lord God," spoke up the Lich, of whom was surrounding us with a small army of two hundred ghostly skeletons and wraiths. Amongst these numbers, however, were the five wolves who had undergone the transformations of becoming an Undead. If they proved themselves to be of great use this night, then they would be transformed into the first Quadruped Undying.
Two of the males had become skeletal with glowing crimson eyes. Yes, this may not seem like much, but they were able to us a lesser form of my acidic breath, and had a venomous bite. Of course, Gahn tried his best to turn them into a snack for his own, but was ultimately stopped after I breathed my own breath upon his person. This action kept him close to my self, as I did not wish to lose two prospective servants to his desires for sustenance.
The last two males had become something akin to shades, but are able to pass through solid objects and take something from within. These two had proven to be exceptionally useful, as they were able to steal organs from the living bodies of their kin. Thus, killing them within mere moments.
The final wolf, the female, became much like that of Brutus, which is another Lich. However, unlike the other, this female was only able to conjure up and control dead animals, but only if she had killed them herself. For example, if she killed another Scarab wolf, which she has, she is able to conjure up a physical copy of what that wolf was when it was alive, albeit with glowing emerald eyes. Afterwards, she would then be able to copy such a wolf up to a dozen times, but their relative strengths would be lessened by one-twelfth. Ah, but there's another point to this, if one of the twelve ceases to live, then those still moving about will gain the strength of the one that has died.
Now, as to why we were watching this small village in the evening. Well, it was to simply conduct an experiment. For you see, I desired to test the defenses of this world. In order to do so, I would need to understand what the weakest of them can do in a desperate situation, such as an attack from an unknown entity.
"Very good, Brutus," my voice softly whispered as I extracted my right, primary clawed hand from the body of Gahn. Of whom had become a large boulder with which to receive my poisons, before transforming his self back into a stone-like copy of my person. "You may begin when ready."

To this, he simply bowed low and retreated back into the trees where his little army resided. Once there, the trees themselves came alive, as the army began its trek towards the open, and onwards to battle against the Kin behind its walls of large, dead trees. I, on the other hand, simply had Gahn use his "Earth Sense" once more, but this time to pull up a larger map of the battle which would soon take place.
"Hmm," I hummed softly, as earthen dolls of a variety of Kin were running about as a silent bell was being rung in the centre of its village. If I listened closely, the sound of a brass bell flowed about my person, but I was busy paying attention to the small representation of the battle before my person. "It seems they have noticed the army far too soon. Well, no matter." Of which was true, as the first skeleton stepped out of the shadows and moved towards the village, did their silent bell begin to ring. However, what was truly astonishing was that there didn't seem to be any panicking about, as the children were secreted into the largest building, and the adults armed themselves, and were hurried to its walls and gates.
"It seems they are used to such events, Master," hissed one of two Draconian Undying of whom had been chosen to stay behind and guard my person from any attacks. These two, both metalised to my service many moon turns ago, have yet to be fully trusted by the others. They each wore no clothing about their persons, save for a leather loincloth upon their wastes, but wielded two pairs of long knives expertly. These two were among eight others who had joined the ranks, but have yet to fully prove themselves useful in the eyes of the rest. For you see, although I may have the final say in much, they still needed to be accepted by all to truly join them.
"Indeed, Sal'ruum," hissed the other, of whom was called Val'ruum, "but how will they fare against Lord Brutus, and his army of the Undead?"
"From what I had gathered from the mind of that creature," my voice gently shook the earth beneath us, as I contemplated the proceedings of the battle below us, "they do not have Undead upon this world. Then again, it is a world with three known continents, so there is bound to be a few pockets scattered somewhere."
From below us, the skeletal wolves had snuck their way to a side of the wall, and breathed their acidic breaths upon the wood. This formed something like that of a hole, but still had poison dripping down from above and the sides. This, however, did not deter the ghostly skeletons, as they began to pour into the breach. This was just at the right moment, as the other portion of the army had begun to batter the gates whilst arrows pierced through their spectral forms without harm. Of course, there was confusion atop the walls, which turned into alarm as another Kin ran towards them with great shouting.
"Ah, they've just now noticed the other portion of the army," Val'ruum muttered, watching the battle with growing fascination as nearly three dozen wolves appeared, seemingly from the shadows, and tore into the throats of those caught unawares. "What of the non-combatants, Master?"
"They are largely left alone, unless they do something completely idiotic. Such as running towards one of the enemy with a long knife," one of my lesser clawed hands pointed itself towards a Kin wearing something akin to a dress that was running towards a skeletal Undying as it tore a body into pieces. It then twirled in time to catch the wrist of the creature, and proceeded to tear its throat out before pulling apart its small body.

Others had appeared from the only large building within the village, and began a desperate charge, whilst a small group of children and elderly attempted to escape the chaos out the back. "Sal'ruum. Val'ruum," the pair stood at attention, as my own turned towards the small group heading into the forest not three hundred metres from us, "Make sure there are no survivors."
"Yes, Master," the pair struck the centre of their chest in a salute towards my person, then left as I continued to watch the slaughter of Kin continue below.
"Good. Good."
*
Only a few screams floated above the air, as I made my way towards the small, ruined village of Tokah. The world seemed to be without a moon, as the night was of pure darkness which suffocated the land quite thoroughly. Of course, the land was now bathed in the glow of our eyes of emeralds, sapphire, and crimson, as each began to search throughout the wreckage for survivors. Those that had survived, however, were now being watched by a variety of Undead, of which they shivered and cried out for their loved ones who had perished.
That is, until I appeared with a large, glowing crimson and gold orb floating above my skull. There were only eight survivors... Well, seven, as one had died from the shock of viewing my visage under the glow of the orb above. "Is this everyone?" My voice rumbled, shaking the earth beneath us all, as my own crimson orbs turned to glare upon those still living.
"Two more still live, and are being chased as we speak. They will not run far," spoke Val'ruum, as he appeared to my left.
"Good. I despise loose ends, especially ones who would become a thorn as we continue our march of conquest. Hmm," my left primary clawed forefinger was brought up to tap against my teeth, as I contemplated our next course of action. Though, of course, I could simply kill them. However, I did desire test subjects for several spells I had yet to utilise properly.
Around this time, Gahn appeared as a copy of my body, of which frightened a second until death. This, of course, sparked another idea as I splashed the corpses with my acidic poisons. Of which caused the stone creature to reach out and begin to devour one of the nearby bodies. The other was being shielded by a living Kin, of whom was screaming in a language I had never heard of.
"Intriguing," I muttered, and pointed towards the living creature with a lesser clawed hand, "Bring that one to me. It has a language I do not know." This order was carried out by Sia, of whom had to break the other's arms to the point of nearly tearing them off in order to detach it from the dead body. It was then placed into my left, minor clawed hand, as I began the process of draining the language and knowledge hidden within its mind.
As the silvered orb pressed itself within my mind, I could hear the strange babblings of words coming from the Kin still living in fear. "Please," begged a male bear-kin, whose right side was bleeding slowly, "You've gotten what you want, right? Just let us go."
"Ah, but you see, that's where you're wrong," my voice and command of their language surprised them all, as my form flowed into a variety of creatures until it stopped upon a bear-kin boy-child. This, of course, caused those coherent to gasp and cry as I continued to flow and change into a variety of Kin found within this village.
Some may ask how this is possible, and I shall give you the simple answer. I am able to do this because I am a god which has been given a great gift from the Dragonock. For you see, these species of lesser dragons which can transform their bodies may do so simply by looking upon anyone. Of course, this method is not perfect, but it is enough for myself to do as I desire. Which was to cause chaos within the minds and hearts of my victims.
"You... You...," muttered the bear-kin, as I chuckled at its quivering body. However, just as it glared upon my person with tears flowing down its reddened and puffy cheeks, my form became that of my skeletal self, and pointed a lesser clawed forefinger towards its chest.
">," I intoned, as the muffled sound of a wet bag popped. This "wet bag" was none other than the male's heart, who was now staring with wide eyes as it clutched its chest, and fell to the ground.
Three others were lifted by my will, and were floating in front of my person. Whereas the fifth and final survivor was held up by one of my skeletal Undying. The three who were floating each suffered, as I plied the spell of "Burst" upon each of their organs, whilst committing their bodies' reactions to parchment and memory.
"Destroying the heart will kill them within mere moments," I muttered, writing my thoughts down with my lesser clawed hands. My primaries were busy rending the flesh of the living, subjecting them to immense torture and pain, as I plied the spell over and over, again and again. All to simply watch how their bodies reacted to the sudden destruction of several key organs. Of course, each was kept alive throughout the whole ordeal, screaming and begging for my person to release them all, but fell upon deaf ears. They even went as far as to beg my servants in their own language to save them.
However, "They cannot understand you, you know?" I muttered whilst watching a female's uterus explode slowly from a small scaled spell of "Burst".
"Wh-w-w-what?" They stammered as I continued with my experiments.
"They do not command your language as I do," to the same female whose uterus had exploded, I tapped her intestines intoning a different spell, ">," and watched as the whole of her intestinal tract became that of a fleshy snake coated in an acidic film of mucus.
"Odd." The others' eyes widened as the serpent slithered out of the female's back, pulling with it its bladder, kidneys, and liver. Of which I simply tossed into the gaping maw of Gahn, and the snake into a void space where I house a variety of items and creatures.
"You Monster," howled a male wolf-kin, whose lower appendage had transformed itself into a red serpent which spat a white, acidic substance towards my person.
"Perhaps," I muttered, and continued on with my experiments.

8 188Quantum Rip: Welcome to Ethos
A special day has come, a day that Earth has awaited for oh so long. The day where they are finally going to try and run the reactor. This had been long-awaited and everyone dropped off their kids with a hint of dread. Hoping that nothing would go wrong, we know it did. Since else there would not be a story. I won't go into too much detail, but only simply explain what happened. Due to some malfunctioning and incorrect assumptions, the reactor overproduced energy. Something which should have been impossible according to all the known knowledge of a really advanced Earth. I mean, they have even started colonizing planets. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful. Some see death, others see life. Despair and hope, madness and sanity on an edge. What has fate given you? Welcome to Ethos, a planet of magic.Welcome to Ethos, a planet orbiting an exotic star.Ethos wishes you luck in surviving. Maybe, just maybe...
