AN: The kitsune won't be popping up as much after yesterday's chapter, so you don't have to worry about that as much. Ah, but I do have to warn you about tomorrow's. Yep, it's going to be another NSFW chapter. Except this time, it's a bit different than what you've all been exposed to thus far. Not going to say much more about that, so you all need to be patient. Haha.
One more bit, then I'll let you all continue reading. There will be children in this little story, BUT our MC will not be adopting any of them. He still remembers what had happened upon his world of Terra, and does not wish for another repeat. So if any of them start to call him "Papa", "Father", or what have you, you'll be seeing his irritation/confusion levels rise.
As always folks, thank you for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

"How could one such as I tempt a goddess of caliber to my side?" Many have asked this upon my person how the goddess called Sarah would stay by my side despite knowing of whom and what I am. It is quite simple, really. I merely tempted her with darkness, showing her the beauty within, and she fell. She became mine the moment I laid my eyes upon her, and I became hers when she was far too deep inside the darkness we all call home.
For now, though, Brutus held onto my sword body, never allowing it far from his person, as he stepped into the sphere of rotating colours. The moment he did this, the object shot us outward towards a collection of twinkling stars in the darkness of the void surrounding each world. In this very moment, we realised how small we truly were in the great expanse of the entire void. It was truly a humbling experience, especially when one is on the outside looking in.
Truly, the I of today is great in many things, but the universe is vast, and I desired only a small speck of it. To this day I have that small speck, our world of Terra, and guard it from all. For I will not relinquish it, not even upon my untimely demise.
No, but the I of then was full of pride and desire, and would not allow himself to be humbled. For he desired our world of Terra, and would perform any task to bring him one step closer to obtaining his goal. In the end, yes, I did take Terra for my own, but that is not the story we are currently speaking of.
This first world we were heading towards, many of you may know of it. For it is Azara, home world to the dragons of Terra, and the first world of which I would conquer and make my own. In this place, power means everything, and if you are considered weak, then you are either turned into a slave or simply killed off for the amusement of others.
As to the why of this world being a part of the Abyss, it is an interesting explanation. For you see, the ancestors of this world killed the gods who watched over it, and used the last of their magicks to secret their world amongst the void within the Abyss. Unfortunately for them, this was our first step, and the world would crack underneath our might of conquest.

Brutus, still clutching my sword body to his body, landed within the middle of an unknown forest full of silence and destruction. For you see, the power which allowed us to travel a long distance caused such destruction within and around us in the form of a tower of iridescent light. This destruction did not create a crater, as many would assume, but simply removed everything within five hundred metres around us. All that was beneath our feet was naught, but fresh dirt.
"Curious," my voice shook the world beneath us, as I flowed into my skeletal form. Around our persons came my Undying servants, of whom were tasked to spread out and search for the other gods. However, it seems they had already started the "party" without us, as there was a small battle taking place between the golem Aruuma, and some unknown wolf-like creatures with chitinous plates segmented about their bodies.
My Undying had gathered about my person at this point, desiring to know my thoughts upon the matter at hand. "Kill all, but one of those creatures, and bring me that golem. It has something I greatly desire."
As one, they charged towards the strange wolf creatures, butchering many as they made their way towards the golem. Of whom appeared to be relieved at the sudden help, but became despaired when one of the wolves tore off its right stone arm. A dark ichor-like substance flowed out of what remained, whilst it began to regenerate the lost arm slowly. It looked rather painful, and I only gave a mental smirk to the scene at hand.
However, the moment passed quickly as my Undying continued their slaughter until they came upon the regenerating golem. Once the first arrived at its position, they simply grabbed its body, and began the slow trek back towards my person. Whereupon they did drop the golem and a living female wolf with chitinous armoured plates about its body in an unceremonious manner.
To this, my form quickly flowed into my Kobold self, and gently placed my clawed hands upon the head of the wolf-like creature, staring into its eyes. ">," I intoned, as a stream of my silvered energies flew into the mind of the now struggling creature. It seemed to my person this female did not wish to become link to my mind, as many who have always end up as slaves. These slaves would then unwillingly kill their own pack for the amusement of the one in control, but I was much different than those who would desire such a thing.
"Bring me the creature's fallen pack," I commanded unto my Undying, who leapt to obey my words with all due haste. Within mere moments, the carcasses of the fallen chitinous wolves was laid in front of us, and the mental link I now shared with the female was full of sorrow and anger. "Watch, little creature," I commanded, stretching out a clawed hand towards the dead, ">." Tendrils of inking darkness erupted from my palm, stretching forth to pierce the bodies of the dead pack. This pack, by the by, was of twenty and three in number. Each was pierced by my tendrils, and writhed as gold and silver energies were slowly pushed into their bodies through said tendrils.
Now, as many well know, the resurrection spells are used mainly by those of whom have their alignment upon the "good" of the morality scale. This is truth, but I am able to take anything I desire from the minds of my enemies. Which includes spells, abilities, skills, and knowledge. No one and nothing is safe from my desire for such things. Especially if the creatures in question hold a gift or ability I have never seen before.

Of course, I being of the Neutral Evil faction upon the Morality Scale should not be able to use such abilities, correct? I see many heads nodding in ascent of this, but I am here to tell you this is not so. For I am able to utilise all spells, no matter their position upon the Scale. However, they become perverted greatly whenever I use them, especially if it is one of the "Good" spells.
In this case, the resurrection spell which was used to revive the wolf's pack. The creature cried out within my mind, begging my person to stop in the form of a girl-child begging her father not to kill her friends. From this link, I simply told her to be patient, and just watch as I heal them all. Outside of said link, she continued to whine greatly, and looked upon my person with large, tear filled eyes. It was the famous "Puppy-Dog Eyes", and many here know it is a weakness to all upon our world of Terra.
"Watch," I commanded, pointing a forefinger towards the now mending bodies of her pack, "They are almost whole." Which was the truth, as all slowly stood upon the upturned and bloodied earth beneath their paws by way of magickal energies. However, their eyes were still dull and lifeless, as their essences had not returned to them all. That is, until our eyes turned towards an unearthly howl, as transparent and chitinous wolves appeared from the ground beneath the bodies, flew high into the air, and fell into the bodies of themselves.
Each body with dull and lifeless eyes buckled under the weight of their respective essence entering the lifeless shells. As they did so, their eyes shone with a mixture of unknown emotions, but one was prevalent amongst them all. Elation. From their own throats, did they howl with such elation as they were now alive once more. However, this elation turned to confusion, as they did not know how this had happened.
">," each wolf turned towards my person as I began to intone a spell, ">." Within the eyes of the revived chitinous wolves was fear, as my silvered energies surged towards them all. Each and every one of them did turn away from the spell, desperate to flee back into the forests before them. However, as many know upon our world of Terra, once you have been resurrected, you remain incredibly weak for almost a sennight. Unless, of course, someone is able to remove such a weakness from your person. Unfortunately for these wolves, they did not know of such things, and fell to the earth with high pitched yelps and yips, as my energies engulfed them all.
Twenty more minds were linked to my own, and each came in the form of a child. Some even appeared as naught, but a babe a few turns of the sun old. It was truly an odd occurrence, and one I would not find out about for many centuries to come. For you see, my dear audience, this link was not a mental link as many would surmise, but an essence link. A "Soul Link", binding themselves to my own for whatever reason I desire. If it was my desire to have them killed, I merely had to sever the link to do so, and their essence would fly off towards whatever it was that awaited them. Or if I desired their presence, I merely needed to focus upon their image within my mind, and they would appear before my person within an instant. Truly, it is an interesting spell.
However, the I of that time did not know of what extent the spell could do, and was quite confused by the sudden appearances of children within his mind. This is the truth, and it concerned my person greatly at these turn of events. So much so, I had forgotten about the golem who was, at that time, still being guarded by several female Undying wielding magickal swords made by the blue hilted blade with three triangular shapes in its centre.
The combined might of these few females was enough to detain the regenerating golem, by simply inserting their swords into its chest whilst they retained their grips upon such weapons. This was incredibly uncomfortable for one such as it, and continued to try and grab my attention in regards of an explanation as to why this was so. Unfortunately for it, its answers would remain unanswered, as I was trying to consul the creatures within my mind.
For they were wolves, and yet they were depicted as children within my own mind. It was strange, yes, but I strived to quiet them, whilst a few chewed upon my clawed fingers in a manner that was adorable. Ah, but you see my dear audience, my past self still desired children, yes. However, after the events which took place upon our world of Terra, I was not at all ready for more.
To this, I gave a mental sigh and moved my attention towards the golem. "Ah, Aruuma," the earth beneath our clawed feet shook from the rumblings of my voice, "You have something I desire greatly."
"Release me, fell demon," its voice was much like that of a pair of large boulders grinding against each other, as its eyes of amethyst glared upon my kobold self with growing hatred.
"I cannot do that. For you see, I dislike having my abilities reduced to a child's strength from these 'gifts' they have given us," my body became that of my skeletal form, and gripped the writhing body of the golem with all four of my clawed hands, the moment my Undying retrieved their swords from its body. "Give me your gift of 'All Knowledge', golem, for I desire it greatly."
Upon my words, the golem screeched as though its entire being was being torn apart. This was so, as my chaotic energies had leapt from my person and entered the mind and body of a god, extracting everything I desired.
