AN: Next chapter is going to be another extra long one. Which means it's going to be a battle~.
As always folks, thank you for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know down below.

Ah, you may be wondering why I had Nox, Puella, and all others go through what I showed them in the beginning. It is quite simple, really, what I did was cleanse the pathways between my main chakra points. Chakras are normally used by martial artists, yes, but it is also beneficial for those who use the energies of the universe, such as magick users. For you see, having an active and cleansed pathway for your chakras can increase your mana pool by a significant amount. It can also increase the regeneration of your mana, as well as the healing factor within each person's body. In short, someone with open and active chakras could, essentially, do many great things before having to rest, but I digress.
It would not be until three months later that my children, as I've started to call them, have started to bear fruit from my teachings. However, in those three months I had a growing, imaginary headache that was threatening to explode my skull. For you see, the so called "Mistress" had become quite the pest, as she would not cease in her sendings of letters that were both threatening and begging.
In one of her multiple letters, she wished for an audience with the queen. This, of course, was granted under various conditions. Unfortunately, once she was on the premise of the castle, she managed to slip past her escorts, and was found tormenting Puella. The girl-child was crying behind her bonded Shadow's reaper, who was growling angrily up at the grinning Mistress. Who probably believed she found some sort of treasure to held over myself, once she retrieved it.
However, her attempt was foiled by Nox, who wandered into the room, pounced on the "Mistress", and subsequently broke the bones in her arms until she was screaming. There seemed to be some truth to what our torturer had said, because when I saw the scene she was in, her face was a mask of ecstasy, and she seemed to have dirtied the floor with her fluids.
Even Nox, who was calm and collected on most occasions, was disgusted by the display of the female human before him, refusing to even touch her afterwards. The pair exchanged some words, which increased his desire to remove himself from her presence. At this point, I had entered the scene in my human form, and began torturing her body the moment Nox left with a crying Puella in his arms.

Her fluids continued to increase, dirtying the floor beneath her shaking body, as I began to ply my chaotic magicks upon her. However, even though she looked to be enjoying it immensely, her masochism ran out of steam, and she began to scream in pain. ">," I intoned above her body, and watched as crimson-violet streaks of lightning erupted from my fingertips, electrifying and burning her flesh.
She cried out in pain and anguish, begging for me to stop, and I did so for only a moment. ">," I intoned once more, and grinned maniacally as she continued her screaming.
It was at this time I felt a tug on my right arm. "Enough, Father," Nox began to beg, pulling my arm away from her, "She will die if you keep this up."
My eyes grew wide, and I slowly turned my head towards my 'son'. "You wish to save this insignificant insect? One who would steal away your sister to use against us? If she were to live, she would only seek revenge against us."
"But she is injured. Surely she would be incapable of-"
I held up a finger to his face. "Nox, you have grown up well, but your naivety will be your downfall. Just like the hero's and his starter harem. This retch of a human," I kicked her side, which rewarded me with a gasp, "is influential enough to become a mighty spear aimed at our hearts. If she were to leave, we would be attacked within a few turns of the sun. During this time, she would have inflicted a great amount of pain to our family. So much so, one or both of you will have perished under her and her allies' attacks.
"You are a good man, and I commend you for it," I gave him a slight pat on his shoulder, then gripped it until he gasped in pain, "but if you allow a hated enemy to live, they will only continue to resurface until either, or both, of you are dead."
Nox's eyes were downcast, and I could see him ball his paws into clenched fists until they shook. His own eyes looked a bit tearful, probably from the pain in his shoulders, "I shall tell you a small story. One that is common upon my first world." He looked up at me, and began to wipe the tears that threatened to fall, "This story is of a Dark Knight, who... Where do you think you're going?"
My eyes stared at the female human, who began crawling away from us. ">," I intoned, and watched as vines tore through wood and tiled marble to wrap around her body, and forcefully pin her to the ground. She then gasped as thorns appeared all over the vines, cutting her body a thousand times over with superficial scratches.

"Anyways," turning back to Nox, who looked quite angry, "this Dark Knight was the sole protector of a corrupted and violent city. He would do his best to remove the filth that cluttered it, but was unable to due to his morals. You see, Nox, he had a code to never kill."
I shook my head, my lips plastered with an ironic smile, "This Knight would, every night, go out into the city in search of trouble. He would then attack these people who dared to disrupt the peace, then drag them off to a cell within a prison. No matter how much this person killed, or committed heinous crimes most foul, he would always put them into a prison cell.
"However, within a few days to a month, those that killed or committed such depraved acts would always escape their cells. They would then continue their rampage until, eventually, they were caught and thrown back into their prison.
"Do you see the point of what I am trying to tell you, Nox? This Knight would continue to do what you were about to do to this insect," I waved my free hand towards the "Mistress", "You would rather have her free to wreak havoc upon our family, or would it be better that she died? Choose, Nox. What will it be?"
He was crying at this point, as mental images flooded his mind of the female human laughing as she killed Puella. Yes, I did supply those images into his brain, else he would not have chosen the correct path. The path I wanted him to walk. "Well, Nox? Will she live or die? It will be by your hand, by the way." He whipped his head towards my person, eyes widened in shock.
Tears continued to flow, as he walked over to the struggling human, who was wide eyed as she stared up at him with pleading eyes. "She...," he was hesitant few a few heartbeats, then whispered, "will die."
"Then kill her, if that is your choice."
He nodded, intoning the spell, ">." A small, black hole appeared in the center of his forehead. Inside was pitch black darkness, then came thin streaks of crimson and violet lightning. These small streaks fell onto the head of the human, who began to scream as his spell began to cook her from the inside, out. For you see, "Chaos of the Mind" is a lesser variant of my "Mana of Chaos". Instead of afflicting the whole body of the target, it cooks the brain and makes the victim experience it all until they are dead. This spell could last between a few seconds, to a full turn of the sun, and is a favourite among the torturer and his apprentices. As it was so much easier, and less messy, than using their instruments and tools while blood and gore splattered their bodies and clothes.
Nox, on the other hand, only allowed the "Mistress" to experience a few brief seconds of pain, before her head was a smoldering mess of burnt flesh and liquefied brain matter. It was oozing out of her skull. "Good. Good, my son," I was grinning, as he wiped away his tears and snot on his sleeve, "You have chosen wisely." It was here that I could barely hear a creepy old human whispering about his path to the Dark Side being complete. It was odd, yes, but it was also correct, as the path I wished for Nox to travel was my own. Full of torture, pain, and chaos.
"Come, my dear Nox, it is time for another lesson. Leave the body alone, as others will take care of it. We have much to do, now that she is dead, and I fear many would begin to become annoying once they realise she was last seen here." I maneuvered him out of the room, and had an Undying guide him back to the room I usually give lessons in.
It was here that my eyes began to glow crimson, as I turned towards the pair of Undying closest to me. "Gather those who wish to partake in a bloodbath, and send others to scout out the establishments the 'Mistress' was a part of. Those with strong ties are to be marked for death, all others are to be questioned.
"This time," I growled a low and slow growl, "This time, I will be the one to lead them, and Nox will accompany us. I will not have a son who is morally just, alive. If he will not change, then he will die."
The boy was still young and naive, and this battle, his first, should be enough to push him completely over the edge. If not, then I would have no need of a weakling who wants to save a world that should just burn.

Magriculture
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is, at best, a very rough draft. I have already had to do one major rewrite and several minor rewrites of entire sections of the story, and it is a virtual certainty I will have to do re-writes again. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will.Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If your looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
