《Origin Point》Chapter 20 (NSFW)

AN: Couple things.
1) The title was changed. It's because the story isn't a virtual reality experience anymore, it's a transfer/summoning type of story. Sure, it'll have some VRMMO elements in it, but not enough to really constitute a VR Fan Fiction. Well, that's my opinion.
2) The chapter is NSFW, as it says above, especially towards the end. I figured I'd let people know if it is or not just in case they're at work, or something along those lines.
Anyways, thank you for reading thus far, folks, and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns down below. Also, if you guys can let me know what you think of the title change, if it should stay as is, have the "Online" bit returned, or what have you, I'd much appreciate it.

The party itself was not extravagant by any means. No, it was only a gathering among nobles and other guests to celebrate the life of the High General before his turncoat nature surfaced. It was quite odd, to be sure, but each world had its own laws and celebrations, so who are we to judge?
Looking out one of the many windows within the castle, I could see a procession of carriages rolling up towards the castle gate. They were in a variety of colours, but this really didn't concern me. What truly concerned me, was whether or not whoever the bear-kin girl's leader is will show up or not. He needed to show up for the first part of my plan to wipe out their tribe. Well, the tribe she was a part of. For you see, the beastman tribe she was a part of all had some form of resistance to poison, but she was the only one with full immunity.
You are wondering how I know this. It is quite simple, she told me while under the gentle care of the torturer. Her little confession is what reaffirmed my want of seeing her entire tribal branch destroyed. This way, in the case of one or two escaping, it would take several generations for them to be an annoyance once more.
Ah, but that is not all. For you see, she also has an immunity to the Shadow's Reaper's infection. Some of you seem confused, so let me explain. The Shadow's Reaper's saliva carries in it an infection that turns any and all races into a Shadow's Reaper. They could be anything from a house cat, to a dragon, and each would eventually become a Shadow's Reaper with the intelligence and memories of what they were before. It is quite overpowered, truth be told, and they have converted several wyrms to their side in the past. It was because of this very action that, several centuries ago, it was decided by all races great and small would rise up and exterminate the species. The world's ancestors eventually won, after a long a gruesome battle, but it seems I had resurrected the hated tribe, and the world will soon know the terror once more.
Anyways, I had been shooed out of the room where the feline girl-child slept, because they intended to dress her up like a doll for the party, and had to get to work. The young Shadow's Reaper was to leave, too, but they relented reluctantly once they found out it was a she. So after bidding a quick farewell to the girl-child, and promising to return once they were done, I left.
The moment I heard the door shut and lock behind me, my kobold self became human once more, and an Undying helped me don a blue and black striped robe. Two four-armed female Undying saluted as I past them, and quickly took up their post as guards for the room. Most of their helmets, as opposed to the males, were decorated in an odd fashion. The colours decorating them were a variety, but most, if not all of them had their helmets designed to look like feline beastwomen. When I finally asked them why they chose this design, a few of them piped up saying my new charge was adorable, and that they wanted her to feel more comfortable around them. So they, for the most part, decided to design their helmets as tribal feline beastwomen.

I had seen some strange things in my life, and had caused most of them, but at that time, they were the strangest. Their actions caused me to shrug, and I gave them my blessing to do whatever they wished. As I was leaving, I heard them whispering to one another about having a tail grafted above their hind ends, and enchanted so that it could move as a real tail. To be quite honest, I didn't want to hear it, so I left them alone.
It was at this time that I started to pay more attention to my Undying thralls, and it was here that I noticed each had their own theme. For example, there were two four-armed Undying that fell in behind me as I stalked the halls, heading for the dungeon and the torturer's area. The pair that followed me were both male, while one looked like a giant, iron bear, the other looked like a muted grey two-legged serpent. When I asked them about why they chose their animals, the Undying bear-man said that he chose the bear because it was strong, powerful, and held a lot of vitality. While the Undying serpent-man said he chose the snake because of its ability to hunt and stalk its prey without many sounds. As a matter of fact, when I listened for his steps, I found it to be barely audible. I wished him well on his hunts.
Along the way, we bypassed several patrols, and a few stopped to greet us with more than a salute towards my person. Each patrol came in a small group of five individuals. Which are a four-armed Undying, a mage or healer, two regular Undying, and a Shadow's Reaper. This was done so that everyone would become used to their presence, and so that the Shadow's Reapers know who not to attack if the castle is infiltrated by some random person or people.
At first, everyone was afraid, as they had heard the stories and legends of the long dead tribe, but had slowly gotten used to them being there throughout the week. A few cooks had even taken upon themselves to spoil a few with extra food and treats. So much so, these who were spoiled became the cooks' personal guards. Well, as long as they continued to spoil them with extra food.
There were also instances where children could be seen on the backs of a few, much to the horror of those who had seen them for the first time. These children, which included the feline girl-child, were found to enjoy being around these wolves. Even going as far as to cuddle up to them for warmth, or when it was time for them to sleep. It was here that the feline girl-child had bonded with the young female Shadow's Reaper, and refused to be separated.
Ah, but there came an issue that appeared a few days before the execution of the High General. You see, the general's brother, who was the current Grand General, could not make it to his brother's execution. Therefore, he sent a human male representative in his stead. This male was odd, in a creepy sort of way, and would always be staring at something or someone whilst writing on a small notebook. However, he always seemed to slip away, even when confronted about his strange behaviour. Unfortunately for the male, I was the one to confront him when I saw him staring at the children, especially the girl-child, as though he were stalking his prey.
His actions alarmed me, and I pounced on the human, baring him down upon the ground. He struggled as several of my thralls rushed up to bind him in rope and chains. Once I was sure he wasn't about to disappear, did I remove myself from his person. "What is the meaning of this?" He had demanded, glaring at my kobold body in fury, whilst struggling with his bonds. "Do you know who I am? I am-"

"An insignificant human who was caught staring at children with ill intent," I finished for him.
"You are making a mistake," he shouted, "The Grand General-"
"Is not here, little human. He is on the frontlines doing the queen's will of enacting a ceasefire." I looked down my nose at him, and saw something that made me pause. It was a look that said I was naive to believe such a thing. "Interesting," I muttered softly, then turned towards the Undying and commanded, "Take him to see the torturer. Tell him to extract everything he can from this human. I want him singing when next we meet."
The man was shocked when he heard these words, and was even more so when the Undying listened to me. Once he was gone, I apologised to those in attendance, promising it would not happen again.
*****
There was only a few hours left until the party began, as I and the two Undying made our way into the dungeon area. It was your standard sort of dungeon, made of shaved stone blocks pressed together with a bit or mortar, and iron bars built into the stone to serve as small cells for prisoners. We passed several cells, and noticed each had a torch hanging above it. If the torch was lit, it meant there was a prisoner within it, if not, then there wasn't one.
Each cell that had a lit torch either held a being slowly transforming into a Shadow's Reaper, or a petty criminal. Those that are becoming one are either repeat offenders of some crime, or would not be missed. Regardless of their crime, those that had not transformed, for one reason or another, were all cowering as they saw a dark shadow flitting from one room to the next. When this shadow entered a cell, however, there were a multitude of screams coming from within, then silence. It was the silence that most were afraid of, and served as a reminder to not end up back here once again.
However, there was a faint scream coming from the other end of the dungeon, which was intermixed with a few grunts. Upon reaching the source of the noise, we noticed a large, shadowy figure moving against something chained up to the wall. We couldn't see more than the chained wrists and feet, and saw them clench in time with the shadow's movement. After a few moments, the shadow became a blur, paused a few times, then removed itself from the chained being.
That being was the bear-kin, who was covered in scratches, scars, blood, and tears. Her naked body slumped down against the chains, and her head lulled forward with lifeless eyes. There were dozens of bite marks all along her neck and shoulders, as well as her breasts, although one had scabs in the center. There was some sort of dark fluid dripping from between her legs, which, as it turned out, was not blood. No, it was the seed of the shadowy being that detached itself from her.
The one that detached itself from the bear-kin was, in fact, the alpha wolf of the Shadow's Reaper tribe. It seems he has been busy relieving his stress upon the girl in the form of mating with her. Indeed, and I could see there was the tiniest of bulges coming from her abdomen, to which I said, "Congratulations, Alpha, it looks like she might be pregnant with your first child."
My statement caused the wolf, who was panting after the session, to bark happily. It also caused the bear-kin's head to snap up, and her eyes were wide and tearful. She began to cry at this, and I couldn't help, but grin whilst drinking in her sorrow. "Indeed, Alpha. However," I held up a finger, "You must make sure it keeps by continuously mating with her until it becomes apparent. Understand?" It bobbed its shadowy head up and down in realisation. then it turned towards the bear-kin, who stared at us both, and tried to scramble away while still chained.
She cried and begged, as the wolf began raping her once more, and we left them to their business. "Ah, music to my ears," said the torturer, who was drying his hands off with a towel. "Sometimes I wonder if you are my long lost brother, you know?"
I grinned at him, and we both chuckled at the joke. "How did it go with the cat-kins?" I was curious about them, as we hadn't spoken much on the subject the past few times I was here.
"Them?" A finger began tapping his lips whilst his eyes stared up at the ceiling, "They don't know who the 'Mistress' is, but they do know she's a noble of some sort. Oh, and she's a human who uses her body to get whatever she wishes for." He sighed heavily, then smiled a hauntingly joyful smile, "It seems this 'Mistress' had the late king in her pocket, and is quite upset about his passing. From what I gathered, she was about to meet the hero, until his untimely demise. So, she might be coming after yourself."
I sighed at this, saying, "If she does, did you want her?"
He became thoughtful for a moment, then shook his head. "That male claimed she was a masochist, so I doubt anything I do would make much of a difference."
"What of the general's spy?"
"Him? He began to sing the moment his balls were being squeezed in a vice," he growled and spat off to the side. "How he was employed by the general is beyond me. Cowards, the lot of them." It was here that I learned that the human male sent by the Grand General was to find out the truth of what caused the high General to turn traitorous. As well as, if at all possible, to save him from being executed. However, that wasn't possible, as the spy was apprehended a few days before the execution took place. Not to mention, the former general was being guarded by almost two dozen four-armed Undying, and about a dozen archers lined the rooftops, eyeing the crowd for people who might try to rescue him.
I was in the process of sighing, when we heard the bear-kin's voice shout, "Don't put it there! That place is-" She screamed as more grunts could be heard from her cell. I snorted quite loudly, then began to laugh as an image floated through my skull.
Turning towards the Undying pair and the torturer, I noticed they were confused, so I explained to them what is most likely happening. Realisation dawned on the three once I finished my explanation, and noticed the torturer pulling out a quill, ink, and parchment. "Notes," was all he said, as he made his way towards the bear-kin's cell.
We also headed that way, too, with varying forms of curiosity. It was there that we saw a crying bear-kin being pushed forward while the alpha Shadow's Reaper grunted from behind. We could see its right claw gripping her right breast tightly, so much so a blood droplet was beginning to form from her nipple. Its other clawed hand had gripped her left leg from behind the knee, and lifted it up to reveal everything about the front of her body to the world. There was even a steady flow of the wolf's dark seed dripping from between her legs. Her entire face seemed to be covered in snot and tears, while she cried in pain, and I noticed trails of blood flowing down her right leg, as the wolf continued pushing up against her.
At this point, the torturer was just staring at the scene, his desire to take notes was gone, and his hands looked as though they were inching towards his pants. Guess he needed to rub one out after this.
Tapping his and the Undying's shoulders lightly, caused them to snap out of their stupor, and turned towards my person slowly. "I've a party to attend to," I chuckled softly, "Have fun watching the show." I waved a hand as I started walking down the hall towards the castle, wondering what awaited for me when the party started.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
