《Creator of All-Realms》Chapter 23: Divine Force

Two hours passed outside the Abyss World, as such, around 800 years passed inside it.
In these 800 years, many Tier 5 Mages, Warlocks, Sages and many other professions emerged in the Abyss World, but no actual Tier 6 appeared. Even so, Jormungand stood firmly as the sovereign of the Abyss World.
He was rooted deeply in the Empire he created, and so it was named [Holy Creation Empire]. It wasn't a very good name, but Jormungand thought it was a good way to honor their creator, Ethan. Unconsciously, the Abyss World was going towards a different direction when compared to the ordinary Sorcerer Path.
Divine statues of a being shrouded in light were made, as if it represented Ethan. The statue was revered as the creator of this world, the God of Creation. In the very beginning, it was heavily opposed, but under the passage of many generations, such belief was gradually accepted by the mortals and even by the Sorcerers.
In fact, Ethan was very surprised that the Sorcerer Path was undergoing such a mutation. It wasn't a bad thing, because the Sorcerer Path would be just the sublimation of Soul in the real universe, nothing more. As he observed the path Jormungand was undergoing, he could see that it was completely different.
Perhaps due to observing how the Immortals sublimated their Body to accept a superior kind of energy, Immortal Qi, Jormungand was also thinking of going a similar path. After all, Tier 6 Ascended Warlocks, for example, would still keep their original Mana. The only difference would be their sublimated Soul.
As such, a development plan was slowly built by Jormungand, 'The power of belief to transform Mana into Divine Force! The sublimation of a Soul would become a Divine Spark!'
In its inherited memories, such a path was indeed possible, but not in the Sorcerer Path!

If Jormungand was able to achieve such thing, he would not only create a new path, but would also be unrivaled in strength, for it was the mix between the Sorcerer Path and the God Path, a long extinct path!
As such, while Jormungand was indeed making the statues to honor Ethan, he was also doing so for his own benefit. Ethan nodded in satisfaction, 'He has truly grown up. With the foundation of the Sorcerer Path, even if the so-called 'Gods' lost their believers, they would still be able to generate Divine Force through their Mana. Of course, the believers would be their main source of Divine Force.'
The God Path was extinct because despite it being easier to achieve high battle strength due to the believers, it was also easier to lose believers. The universe is extremely huge, who can say that they can stay at the top for millions of years? Under the passage of time, they would naturally lose beliefs.
However, such a situation wouldn't happen with the Abyss World, because it was simply not the universe! Jormungand's actions were only one, but it had multiple gains!
With the accumulation of beliefs within the statues, Jormungand would sublimate his Soul and transform it into a Divine Spark! At the same time, each so-called god has its own major, for example, God of Darkness, Light, etc. Jormungand mastered the power of Devouring and the power of Fire, so if he was to awaken the Divine Spark, he would be called the God of All-Devouring Flame.
It was a very long title, but that would be the official one. He would still be called the Devourer of Worlds, but when one referred to him as a god, they would need to call him the God of All-Devouring Flame. Ethan was already thinking of such things because Jormungand would surely achieve success in the awakening of his Divine Spark.

Ethan observed Jormungand intently as the latter started drawing the peculiar power known as 'Belief' into his body. Perhaps due to a coincidence, but only a being whose Body had already been sublimated would be able to use the power of Belief to sublimate their Souls, as such, Jormungand was able to create such an unprecedented path.
But one must also know that in order to create such an unprecedented path, one must also pay enough. The rules of the universe are stable, so the appearance of a new path would be infinitely difficult to create, such a thing is only possible in the worlds created by Ethan, for it isn't bound by the rules of the universe.
'If I go by this, doesn't it mean I'm going against the universe? That seems a bit too troublesome...' Ethan's eyes twitched lightly after thinking of this, but he didn't mean to stop. As long as he didn't start a war against others randomly in the universe, things should be fine, right?
At the same time, Jormungand was sitting cross-legged in a room carefully prepared by him to withstand huge amounts of power. His whole Soul was shaking as the power of Belief was gradually introduced into his body. His Soul had left his body at the moment and was accepting the baptism of the power of Belief, but it wasn't smooth at all.
Cracks appeared in the Soul, for such a power couldn't be held by a mortal. Jormungand, however, was no ordinary mortal. The World-Devouring Snake bloodline within his body acted even within his Soul, trying to protect it with all of its strength.
Even so, Jormungand was feeling unbearable pain as his Soul cracked and healed endlessly. It was a necessary proccess to transform the mortal Soul into a Soul that can hold a Divine Spark within it. If Jormungand can't bear the pain, he would die.
There was no other situation, either he was able to achieve success or he would die.
But as someone that has lived for 800 years and experienced many things, Jormungand was naturally not weak of Will. His consciousness was kept awake as the unbearable pain continued for an unknown amount of time, and so it was gradually transformed by the power of Belief.
It was unknown if it was just a second or a hundred years, but a new kind of energy gradually appeared within Jormungand's Soul of Consciousness. A strangely-shaped 'object' floated quietly within it, and so a power that could only be held by beings that left the ranks of Mortals emerged.
Such a power is known as Divine Force!
