《Creator of All-Realms》Chapter 22: Sovereign

Jormungand used his overwhelming power to... Well, to steal some clothes.
He did pay a few gold coins, though!
''Ahem...'' Jormungand coughed lightly, never expecting that someone at the Tier 5 would actually need to steal clothes without even basic magic runes! He felt sad, and so Jormungand felt that his ancestors would surely feel disappointed that a Worl-Devouring Snake only had mortal clothes to wear.
'My father must be very disappointed as well. I'm such a disgrace to my race!' Jormungand was feeling very dejected.
From the television, Ethan was utterly speechless after seeing the World-Devouring Snake in human form have such thoughts. His eyes couldn't help but twitch lightly, 'This boy is truly... special. He is already over a hundred years old, but he still has such childish thoughts, though Jormungand is indeed just a kid when it comes to the long lifespan his race has.'
World-Devouring Snakes, even if they didn't take any path, could live naturally for at least a thousand years. Its bloodline was as noble as the noblest Dragon race, cultivators would certainly call it a Heaven-defying race if it was placed at the World of Origin. In fact, replicating this long extinct race was very difficult for Ethan.
It was also a very convenient coincidence that there were traces of World-Devouring Snakes on Earth, which is how Ethan was able to perfectly replicate them through Jormungand's bloodline.
After a moment of thought, Ethan's eyes became much calmer, 'This is the first visit of the three I've promised. I'm the one who created these worlds, but I'm not part of their civilization, after all... I can guide them every now and then, or help them if something goes wrong, but I'm a bystander, in the end.'
His actions held true to his thoughts, for Ethan never really took direct action in the civilization of the World of Origin or Abyss World. He has appeared as beings of the past like the Leader of the Palace of Knowledge, or the huge World-Devouring Snake that protected Jormungand.

They just contributed as a guide for the beings to advance, but they were never part of the Cultivation and Sorcerer civilization.
As he thought of this, Ethan suddenly became much calmer. It was like a sudden enlightenment, but it didn't bring benefits of power or something similar, it was more like a state of mind. Ethan now knew exactly what role he had in these worlds.
The mysterious, abstract creator who overlooks and secretly guides civilization without directly interfering. At the same time, Ethan wouldn't use his Omniscience to know the future of these worlds because it would ruin the fun. For sure, Ethan would be able to manipulate the progress of these worlds with his Knowledge, but it would ruin his fun.
As a lazy creator, knowing the future of his world would make it boring. Only without knowing everything, would he be able to enjoy everything.
It was very complex, but Ethan kind of enjoyed this feeling.
...
Somewhere within the Abyss World...
Jormungand walked quietly in a forest, the trees swayed towards his direction gently, as if they were giving him a warm welcome. His very Body had been sublimated after breakingthrough to Tier 5, achieving a very peculiar state. In cultivation terms, this state was known as 'One with Nature', something was rare even among the most talented Immortals who had their Body and Soul sublimated.
Despite only having sublimated his Body, Jormugand achieved such a state.
At the moment, he was walking in the Forest of Life, which is the living place of the Elves. He was going to visit the Elves, Beastkin, Demons, Dwarves and Humans respectively to settle accounts. Jormungand was very furious that they attacked him while he was unconscious, despite having taken a contract with him to have peace.
He looked like a mortal at the moment, but his eyes held immeasurable pressure. The ground under him seemed to be conscious as it made his way very smooth, the trees swayed gently and showered him with fresh, pure air.

In front of him, a huge Elven city full of houses within the trees could be seen.
''Hah...'' Jormungand exhaled lightly, his aura unconcealed.
Differently from the Cultivation Path, the Sorcerer Path majors in the Soul. Only beings with strong Souls can take such path, which is why instead of first sublimating their Souls, the Body is sublimated. It's the opposite of the Cultivation Path, which first sublimates the Soul.
Tier 1 Mage is nothing more than feeling the Will of the World through their Souls and absorbing Mana from it. In a special place known as 'Soul Consciousness', Mana is stored as rings. A ring means Tier 1, two rings means Tier 2, four rings means Tier 3, eight rings means Tier 4 and nine rings means Tier 5.
When a Mage or any other profession of the Sorcerer Path arrives at Tier 3, they are able to freely affect the outside world with 'Aura'. It's a special application of Mana similar to Spiritual Pressure, being able to directly affect one's Soul. It's similar to the power a cultivator obtains at the Ethereal Life Realm, but much weaker.
At Tier 5, the Body is sublimated, achieving the ultimate limit of rings, which is Nine Rings Mage. With no surprise, the pressure brought by a being at Tier 5 is infinitely stronger than someone at Tier 3.
And it was such an infinitely stronger pressure that was affecting the Elves right now. There weren't many Elves as they had low fertility, but they were naturally attuned to Mana, so such pressure affected them even more than it would on other beings.
Under the effect of his 'Aura', Jormungand said in a low tone, but it was transmitted to the mind of every Elf in the Elven City, ''For the sneak attack and breach of our contract, this is a warning. From now on, you only has one choice, and it is to be under the rule of Jormungand.''
''From now on, the Abyss World will only have one sovereing, and that's me, Jormungand.'' With these words, Jormungand vanished, and so did his pressure.
In the royal palace, a young-looking female Elf with long, silver-colored hair, green-colored eyes and pointed ears couldn't help but wipe the sweat dripping down her forehead. That female Elf is the Elven Queen, and so she was naturally aware that they breached the contract they had with Jormungand, 'It seems that we only have one choice... At least, it doesn't seem like it is a very revengeful sovereign.'
She didn't see Jormungand in human form, so she is still referring to him as 'it'. The Elven Queen felt relieved that Jormungand didn't bring down his anger on the innocent Elves, for he has absolute power to destroy a whole race.
Soon, Jormungand repeated the previous act with every race of the Abyss World.
The Demon Race, especially, didn't accept to be under his rule.
However, Jormungand power was overwhelmingly stronger than their whole power combined.
''A being that holds power enough to destroy a whole race...'' These were the last words of the strongest Demon before he was killed by Jormungand.
The whole world fell in silence for a few hours after Jormungand visited every race.
From this moment onwards, the living beings of the Abyss World knew one thing...
They have a new sovereign.

A ragtag assemblage of adventurers, scraped together by seeming circumstance, investigate the theft of an ecologically essential artifact.
