After one hour of waiting, we finally departed. I have to say, that this is the most annoying adventure of all time. Xenia was bored so whenever she spotted island she flew away to see if there was something funny. If there was something funny or rather something stronger that could entertain her she was starting a fight. Usually, when I finally arrived I had nothing to do. After the 5th time, I was getting pissed.
-Xenia, I do not care what do you think I have to vent some energy or you are going to fly home by yourself.-I roared at her. Why is it that only she can have fun.
She scratched back of my neck.-Oh do not worry my little Goji. I will let you play.-She blew some air near my ear.-She laughed and I went crazy. For fucking GOD sake.
What I told you about cursing your GOD. Do you want some beating?
WTF? Are you watching this and you are doing nothing? Answer me! I got no answer.
After one day of endless water, I finally saw a land, and it had the smell of civilization. But more on the said of an old drunkard than the proper city. Xenia went to scout. When she came back she said.-There is some powerful humans 2 maybe 3. Oh, and it seems like a pirate city. Do you want to make a night here? Seriously? -I nodded.- Then call me when you clear them up.
-Are you sure that they are pirates? All of them?
-Yep, it looks like smuggling base or hideout. I do not know if there are children or women.
-Xenia.

-Periscope down!!!-And I dived. When I was near a port I resurfaced and ramed one of the ships with my backspikes. I think I cut it in half. I walked out of the water and roared. My tail swept remaining ship. From the biggest building, I saw some armored man. They were these stereotypical pirates. 3 of them flew up to the level of my face.

Are they thinking that they can make me into umbrella or oven? Hell no. My spikes started glowing in bluish light and WOOOOOM. I felt a punch to the chest, kick to the knee and right to my jaw. Okay, that hurt. I am going to.... I couldn't finish my thought because I felt like something hit my back near my left arm. It nearly came off. It reminded me of something. That scene when Godzilla was hit with a bunker buster. So you have something similar. I became enraged. Thanks to my own stupidity and carelessness I am near a death door. FUCK!!!-ROARRRRRRRR.-My back started tingling in some spots. I instinctively started to gather there my focus and energy. It came true. I could shoot my nuclear energy like a Shin Gojira from my back. Hell YEAH! The last thing is my tail, but I will do this later. Now time to wreak this city. 3 brothers were still flying around me. They were like a "mouth" all looked like each other and they had great coordination. I readied my self. They attacked.
-Die!!-They shouted. But I have an objection. When they neared me I released my short nuclear pulse, and it melted their skin. With this amount of radiation they instantly got cancer. I wonder how I did that. Earlier when I used my breath I never achieved such effect. It was like that breath in the movies not like it should be in real life. Who cares. Time to eat. I grabbed one of the injured brothers. He was the weakest of them all.
Chomp, gulp. By the way, I bit of his head, just to be sure that he will not attack me from the inside. One tried to flee but I microwaved him with my breath and the last was squashed flat under my feet. Unpleasant feeling, almost like stepping into a shit, but small. I began clearing of the island. I finally felt relaxed. There is nothing better than a good fight and a snack. When I completely decontaminated the living area I found a warehouse. Xenia flew back and looked inside.

The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.

The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them.
