While I was in a secluded cultivation, i have decided to take away the (Chris) thing after every sentence. After helping my friend writing another Fan-fic on Qidian, I decided to change my ways. It might be a bit late, but I actually like this version better.

“Finished.” Chris exited the bathroom with his white bathrobe. He looked refreshed and relaxed, as if he hadn't showered in days.

He looked at TenTen, she had already changed into some nice clothing, but her hair was still down.

He actually likes TenTen with her hair down or in a bun position, either way it fits her character well.

“Smith brought these clothes for you, go change in the other room.” Tsubaki threw him a set of male clothes, then pointed at another room.

Chris knew that Tsubaki didn’t like it when he looks at TenTen, but he can’t help himself. Carrying the clothes in his shoulders he entered the other room.

Since TenTen hasn’t seen her mother in all her life, it’s only fair that they spent this time together.

Even when TenTen told her mom everything about Chris, even all of his accomplishments, she cannot see him as TenTen’s boyfriend, maybe because she is afraid that Chris isn’t right for her, or something.

Whatever the reason, she is not gonna accept their relationship, at least until Chris has proven himself to her.

(It isn’t even her business, but whatever.)

“TenTen, I haven’t been there for you your whole life, so we have a lot of catching up to do.” Tsubaki sat on her chair as she looked at TenTen.

“Hm.” TenTen nodded happily. She has been waiting for too long for this moment, and she is very happy that this day was here.

Kat just stood there, just minding her business, I guess everybody forgot about her existence.

The door he entered from was connected to the Queen’s room. It was just as spacious as the other room, but it looked more plain looking, it must be because almost no one uses this room.

Chris changed into new clothes, which felt cozy and refreshing. He looked out of his bedroom window, the sight was awesome, the whole city looked high tech, as if this were a sci-fi movie.

Chris could not believe that such a world exists in the Naruto world. But, he still hasn’t forgotten his purpose for being here, and that is to find and locate Fan Uchiha.

“I need to learn more about this world. Is there a library here or something?” His curiosity got the better of him. He exited the room easily. There was a long hallway from both sides, filled with decorative paintings and artifacts across the hallway.

There is no denying that this place beats a 5-star hotel (even though I have never been in one before.)

Chris traced his footsteps back. He believes that if he were to ask for directions, then maybe somebody could pinpoint his exact location.

He wanted to know everything that there was about this new world. Right now, he is weak, ignorant and helpless. He needed to gather as much information as he could, which may help him.

However, when he kept walking on the hallway, he saw Smith again. He had some gadgets that resembled a lot like an Iphone, only that they looked sharper, and more high-tech than the ones on Earth.

“Ah, is there anything that I can help you with?” Smith said. He is very loyal to Tsubaki, and any friend of hers is a friend of his.

“Is there like a library or something in this building?” Chris said.

“No. That building was reconstructed and is being used as a weapon storage.” Smith said truthfully.

“Weapon storage?” He knew what he meant, but why use a library of all buildings as a weapon storage?

“There is a possibility of war going occuring, so this kingdom is in a bit of shambles as we speak. But, fear not, the devices on my hands have about everything that you need. Here, take this.” Smith handed Chris an Iphone, which Chris examined carefully.

“Here is a small pamphlet to guide you on how to use this device.” Smith handed him a small piece of paper, with several instructions written on the piece of paper.

“I gotta go, Miss Tsubaki wanted me to deliver these devices to the three of you.’ He just casually strolled and headed straight towards the Queen’s room.

“Wait! You said that this Kingdom is at war?” Chris said.

“The other Kingdom we’re fighting against, call themselves ‘Wolf Territory’ or as people like to call them ‘Wolves of Greed’ Their Kingdom is being led by a strong King, named Fan Uchiha.”

Chris was shocked. He honestly believed that Fan would be rather low key, but even a stranger knows about him. It is not gonna take long before he finds him, as he thought oppositely a few hours ago.

“Smith, please tell me everything related to Fan Uchiha.” He held onto Smith’s shoulder firmly, he cannot let this information go like that.

Smith was surprised when Chris held him like that. Smith might not look like it, but he is a very powerful man in the Nocturne Kingdom. However, after being held firmly by Chris, he could tell that the kid is very strong.

‘He doesn’t look over 15 years old, yet I can feel his terrifying strength. He probably has experienced multiple life and death situations. I am glad that Lady Tsubaki found him, or we might have missed our shot in recruiting a strong person.’ Smith thought.

“Very well, Lad. I will tell you what I know about Fan Uchiha. After I deliver these devices to Miss Tsubaki, I will tell you everything you want to know.”

He still had his job as Tsubaki’s most trusted servant, and delivered the two remaining devices to TenTen and Kat.

Chris just stood there, as he examined the Iphone in his hands. Even he doesn’t know how to operate this thing. Despite the similarities between the Iphones of this world and the ones back in his home, he doesn’t even know how to turn on the device on his hands.

It’s clear that these two technologies are vastly different. He then started reading the instructions on the paper word per word.

Back in Tori no Kuni.

Rei was surrounded by several ninjas. He had just recovered their memories that he erased. (So, he is like Gowther from the Seven Deadly Sins.)

Luna didn’t say anything. She walked beside Rei, and gave him a hard slap, it was so hard that the sound echoed throughout the area.

Tears poured from her eyes as if she were an endless river. There was a visible red hand print to on his cheek, but even so he expected this to happen.

“You did this to us. I will never forgive for what you have done to Chris, Kat and Me.” Luna said very angrily, and she strolled off angrily straight into the woods.

Rei didn’t say anything, he just looked down, he really regretted his actions, as it had huge impacts on so many people, not just Chris.

Itachi knew that Luna needed some time and space to figure things out. He turned to look at Rei.

“Question: Why did you erase Fan Uchiha from our memories?” Asked Itachi.

Rei only let out a small sigh, then said. “For the sake of Chris, of course. If Fan had not betrayed me, then I wouldn’t have resolved in such an act. There was no way that Chris was ready to face Fan Uchiha, but since things have gone this far, I had no choice but to sent Chris to face Fan Uchiha.”

“But why? What is the point on facing Rei, and more importantly by himself only?”

“I already said this, but I have done an unspeakable act on Chris. I cannot even face him, which proves just how pathetic I am.” Rei said. He then added.

“Chris needs to become stronger, and this is the perfect way for him to surpass his limits,”

“You're only using him as a tool for revenge. Do you even care for him?” Asked Hina from the side.

“Hina, I do care about him, honestly. I didn't think that he would achieve such high results in such a short amount of time. If I had known just how he would become, I would never have dragged him into this mess.”

Rei had watched Chris even before he started this life as a ninja. Nobody knows how or why, but it will all be revealed soon.

Rei was happy yet sad that Chris turned out like this. He was happy cause he had exceeded his expectations, but sad because he exceeded his expectations as well.

If Chris had not become the person he is, then it would be so easy to get rid of him, without feeling regret at all. But, after watching over him for a long time, he could not help but feel attached to the poor bastard.

Just how is he gonna get rid of him now, with so many people in this world that care for him?

He already erased their minds once, and it caused them lots of troubles. He is not the type of person to willingly hurt others for his own selfish needs.

“With the kind of strength that you have, why don't you just get rid of Fan Uchiha. Or better yet, kill the mother Alien.” Asked Hina.

“I would have got rid of Fan Uchiha long ago, but a small mistake on my part made it impossible for me to punish him. I may have a lot of power, even stronger than the sage of six paths, but I cannot kill another being. Not because I don't want to, but because I can't.” Responded Rei.

“Why not?” Asked Naruto this time.

“It's a sacred rule for my people. Breaking one of these rules can result severe consequences for me.”

“Your people? There are others like you?” Asked Itachi.

“Yes, including myself, there are more than 2 thousand, but all of them don't have a spark of power on them. Including myself and Miss Fortune, there are 5 System gods who have powers that can rival my own, one of them is way more powerful than me.” Said Rei.

“Just how powerful are your kind?” Asked Itachi. They are all truly just a frog in a well.

“I could go on and on, but I am afraid your puny little minds won't be able to understand what I'm saying.” Rei got up on his feet. He brushed off the dirt from his robe.

“What now?” Asked Isabella.

“For now, I am heading to the land where Chris is, incase he is lost or something. Then, I have got to tell him the truth about his past.” Rei got prepared to leave, but was halted by someone.

“T-take me to Chris.” Said Hinata, as he held onto his sleeve.

“Why?” Asked Rei. He might know the answer already, but he just wanted her to say it.

“After what you have done to him, Kat and Luna, I don't trust you with him. As his student, I must protect my sensei.” Hinata said very firmly.

“If she's going, then I am too.” Naruto stood up and yelled abruptly.

“Me too.” Hanabi also said.

Several other people followed their example, and were all eager to help Chris fight Fan Uchiha.

“I am afraid that all of you will be in a huge disadvantage if I were to take you with me. You all care deeply about Chris and the others, but you will only be a drag for him.” Rei responded when he saw a huge crowd all wanting to travel to another world.

“You said that the world he is in, doesn't contain an ounce of chakra, which is why I am perfect for helping him.” Hinata said. She mostly relies on her taijutsu, which is my the other world won't affect her much.

Rei looked at Hinata with eyes that won't give up. He has seen these kind of eyes on someone else, the love of his life.

‘Oh Fortune, you would have loved this character.’ He thought to himself, as he gave a light chuckle.

Rei has seen the Naruto anime, and Hinata is one of his favourite characters without a doubt.

“Very well, Hinata.” Rei agreed. He said no just a few seconds ago, but he just changed his mind.

“As for the rest of you.” Rei said to the people behind Hinata.

“The Mother Alien has one goal in mind, and that is to capture Gaara and steal the one tails inside of him. If she does get her hands on it, then you are all screwed!”

He gave them all a fair warning.

Rei then proceeded to take Hinata’s hand, and opened a small crack on the ground, with a yellow light coming out of it. It was very similar to the one that Chris and the others entered.

“Hinata.” Hina said worried for her. She would have gone with Hinata as well, but she needed to stay behind with Hanabi.

“Aunty, I'll be fine.” Hinata said with a warm smile.

Hina already knew that there was no point in stopping her. He gave Hinata a tight hug, followed by Hiashi and Hanabi as well.

Who knows just how long she'll be gone, but just to be sure, they wanted to say goodbye to her properly.

“Take care of yourself, daughter of mine.” Hiashi said.

“Bring Onii-chan back, that way we can all have another slumber party.”

The both of them said their goodbye, but Hina said something very different, and only whispered in her ear.

“I know that you like him, that is the main reason why you're headed their right now.” Hina said gently.

Hinata didn't say anything, but her huge blush said it all.

Hina added. “I am actually glad. I wanted this to happen for some time now, and I am so happy right now.”

When Chris was resting for days, Hinata had realized many things on those days, as she helped people settle in the new Tori no Kuni.

Hinata really liked Naruto, for his character and his will to strive for the best, that is why she liked him.

But then, she realized just how much her and Chris had spent so much time together, and how he had the same will and strength like Naruto.

She did not want to compare the two, and didn't want to pick sides because she would benefit more than the other, she is not that type of person.

But, a few days ago, this is what happened.

Flashback no Jutsu.

Hinata was minding her business, helping the Hyuuga clan as usual. Until she saw Naruto not too far from her.

“N-Naruto.” Hinata said.

“Yeah?” Naruto responded.

“I need your help with something.” Hinata walked up to him, with a small blush on her face.

She has been thinking a lot about Chris, and she found it hard to not like him. She already liked Naruto, but did s=he really? This question has been bugging her for some time now.

Even before they left Konoha, Hinata has been considering this for some time now.

Normally, she would find excuses to avoid such topics, for example: ‘I am still too young’ ‘My dad won't ever let me’ ‘I need to focus on my ninja career as well as my family’

But, after Chris almost died, she realized that they might not have as much time as she originally thought.

She might sound selfish, but because of her fault, her sensei almost died.

“Naruto, I need to ask you something.” Hinata said.

Naruto was confused by her. He too was at fault because Chris almost died, which is why he was down for the past few days.

They were both to blame. Because if they weren't so adamant on protecting innocent people, Chris would still have his powers, and he wouldn't be in such a situation right now.

“I… Do you like me?” Hinata asked with all her strength.

Naruto responded almost immediately.

“Of course I do. Friends like each other.” Naruto said casually, though that is not what Hinata meant.

“No… what I mean is… do you like me, like how Chris and Luna like each other?”

“Oh, do you mean like that boyfriend and girlfriend stuff?” He said.

“Hm.” She nodded. Although they did hug in her room, that didn't count as anything. It did not signify that they are in a relationship, or anything like that. It is not abnormal for friends to hug each other.

“Ummm… sorry Hinata, but I don't see you like that?” Naruto scratched his head in embarrassment, mostly because this is the first time he has ever rejected someone.

Hinata seemed to be affected, but barely. Then Naruto added.

“I actually see you as more of a friend, than anyone else. You do care for me, and I like that part about you. I don't want to change that. I do not understand much about the girlfriend and boyfriend relationship stuff, but I cannot see you like that.” Naruto said wholeheartedly.

Hinata understood what he meant. She only smiled, as her lips curved slightly upright.

“Naruto, thank you.” She said.

“Huh?” He said.

“I have a little confession to make. Ever since I saw you in school, and even before that, I really liked and admired you for so long. I wanted to be with you, but I never had the chance to say it, until now.” Hinata said.

“Even our sensei knew that I liked you, and he set us up multiple times to get closer together. But, until now, I thought that I still liked you. But when you gave your reply, I don't even feel affected at all.”

Hinata looked at Naruto. She was blushing hard.

“I realized my true feelings, and they belong to Chris. Sorry Naruto, and thank you.”

She didn't feel anything when Naruto basically rejected her, which told her everything she wanted to know.

She thought she was selfish for using Naruto like this. Not only that, but this was hardly the time or the place to be discussing this type of stuff.

Nobody forced her to do this, this was all her.

But, contrary to her expectations, Naruto only smiled at her.

“Hehehe, actually Hinata, I had a feeling that Sensei likes you.”

“What?” She did not expect this answer from him.

“Well, a certain fox helped me, but he told me that he likes you as well, only that it is hidden deep in his heart.”

The nine tails has the ability to sense the emotions in someone. Even if it Chris, he cannot hide his emotions in front of Kurama.

“I don't understand it much, but hopefully we can still be friends, forever and ever, and ever again.” Naruto said. He just wanted what was best for his Sensei, and for Hinata as well.

He knows that he is no match for Hinata, but that won't stop him from being her friend. He only wants the best for everybody, because that is the type of person he is.

(At this point, he has no idea that he shot himself in the foot.)

Hinata only smiled, feeling very joyful right now.

“Of course, we will always be friends.” Hinata smiled at him, as he had just given her the best answer in the world.

She had also been wondering if Chris liked her, considering that he has Luna with him.

Just like TenTen, she is gonna fight for him.

And now you are all caught up.

Flashback no Jutsu end.

“We gotta go.” Rei gently pulled Hinata’s hand.

“Hold on!” Tsunade said.

“If by any chance Chris is in trouble, then you come straight to us and we will help him. I don't care what type of place that world might be, but I am willing to help him, after all, he saved us all from the Aliens.”

Tsunade wanted to go, but she had responsibilities with the people here.

Many other people wanted to help Chris as well, but they knew that they would drag him down if they were to follow Rei. Hinata is actually the best choice right now.

“I will keep that in mind.” Rei responded. With Hinata waving at them goodbye, they both disappeared from everyone's sights.

“Wait for me!” A loud voice was heard, as well as running and loud breathing.

It was Lee, with his bag on his shoulders.

“Are they gone?” Lee tried to find Rei, but to no avail.

“What happened to you?” Asked Tsunade, with her arms crossed and pressed against her breasts.

“I thought I could be of help to Chris, since I don't rely on chakra. But, I went back to get my utensils and thought I would have enough time to make it back, but I was a step too late.”

He sincerely wanted to help Chris as well, because he is very strong, and won't be a burden to him.

But, now he missed his chance, all because he had to gather his stuff.

Hinata didn't even bother bringing a toothbrush. That kind of stuff isn't important right now, aside from food and water.

“Oh Lee.” Tsunade only shook her head lightly. He felt sorry for him.
