“We are not gonna get anywhere by standing around doing nothing. Let's go.” (Chris) said as he held the girl's hands.

“Are you gonna let go of my hand?” (Kat) said in a teasing tone.

“Nope.” (Chris) responded.

Kat felt a certain warmth inside of her. She couldn't help but tighten her grip on his hand.

TenTen didn't seem to mind, as she was smiling at the thought of spending time with her boyfriend.

They kept walking while inspecting the area. The abnormal thing was that there were vehicles sticking out from the ground, as well as high tech weapons. They were all broken.

Chris expected that some kind of war occurred in this land. By the looks of it, this happened about a decade ago or longer.

“Hey. Can we take a break?” (Kat) said as she sweated a lot.

“We've been walking for only an hour, so how you this tired already?” (Chris) asked. He has seen how strong Kat is, so this hour walk should have been a breeze for her.

“It must be because this place has no chakra at all.” (Kat)

“I think it must be all the chocolates that you eat.” (TenTen) pointed out.

Kat has her eyes widened. She couldn't believe that TenTen exposed her like that.

“Now that I think about it, you do seem a bit pudgier than befor-” (Chris) did not have the chance to finish his sentence, as he was met with a kick to the face.

Wait a red face, Kat sent Chris back with the bottom of her foot.

“I dare you to finish that sentence! I DARE YOU!!!” (Kat) said loudly. It is clear that she doesn't like it when people talk about her weight.

Chris stood up from the ground. He didn't mind the kick, as it didn't hurt him. However, there was a shoe mark on his face.

“Did you have to kick me in the face?” (Chris)

“I'll do more than just a kick if you finish your sentence.” (Kat) pouted as her head looked at another direction.

Chris didn't say anything. He crouched down with his back facing Kat.

“I'll carry you if you're too tired to walk.” (Chris) said with a straight face.

Kat was surprised by his actions. She thought he would be angry for karate kicking his face, but it seemed he didn't even care.

“Hm! I can walk by myself.” (Kat) pouted cutely. She stood up and led the way.

Chris could only smile at her tsundere act. He got up and followed behind her.

After another half an hour of walking, Kat couldn't take it anymore.

“Is… is that offer still on the table?” (Kat) could not take it anymore. She looked at Chris with pleading eyes.

“Hm… nope.” (Chris) ignored her then began walking.

“Let's keep walking. The longer we take, the more likely everybody else will face danger.” (Chris)

“I've been meaning to say this, but where exactly are we going?” (TenTen) couldn't help but ask.

After walking for a while, it seemed as if Chris was aimlessly walking around this abandoned place,

“...” (Chris) stopped in his tracks. He did say anything or did anything. He just stood there with a poker face.

“You have no idea where we are going… do you?” (TenTen) could only sigh at his carelessness.

“No. But hopefully we’ll find something.” (Chris) found a good answer.

“How much longer do you think it will take?” (Kat) asked in annoyance that she is gonna have to walk further.

“At this rate. I would say… days.” (Chris) m

“DAYS!!! What will we do about food and water? What would we do if we never find anything here?” (Kat) yelled out loud at the thought of this. To think she came here to die from either starvation, or insanity.

“I brought food beforehand. It should last us for weeks.” (Chris) faced her.

“But still, what do you expect to find in this place?” (Kat) said.

“Itachi said that this mother alien was somehow the mistake of Fan Uchiha. If he knows how to create something like that, then surely he knows how to destroy her.” (Chris)

‘Wait! Bluescreen, didn't you mention that you created a thing that will help us against the alien?’ Chris said in his mind.

Yes. But it is useless to you.

How?

Do you honestly think that the mother alien will let you even touch her? You're lucky to be alive after facing her. Don't push your luck.

Dammit! I really hope that this Fan Uchiha has a way of dealing against her.

“Oh, I see.” (Kat) got up from the ground. Although she was tired, the fact that they might find a way to kill this alien is very important to them.

“I'll carry you on my back. If you want.” (Chris) crouched once again.

“Aren't you gonna get tired walking while carrying me?” (Kat) was worried for him. She didn't want to burden him, as that is not why she came with them.

“I trained my body to be stronger. I can carry you for miles without being affected.” (Chris)

Kat hesitated for a second. She rested her arms gently on his shoulders, and said.

“Okay. But if you get tired, you tell me, okay?” (Kat)

“Sure.” (Chris) responded.

Kat slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. She climbed over his back, and felt his body warmth as it came into contact with hers.

This sensation was something she didn't expect. It felt like her worries were gone, and she had a sense of being protected.

She could hear his heartbeat as her ear was leaning on his back.

Chris lifted her up easily. Even if she weighs a bit, it is nothing compared to his own gravity seals.

Chris looked at TenTen, she put a fake smile as if she saw this scene cute.

“You know, TenTen. If you want, after I carried Kat for a while, I can carry you too?” (Chris) offered her the same thing as Kat.

“Nonono. I cannot do that to you.” (TenTen) shook her head. She also did or want to trouble Chris at all.

“Nonsense TenTen. I'll gladly do it.” (Chris) said with a smile.

TenTen could only nod at his request. She wanted to be carried too by Chris, but found it hard to say it.

Chris started walking with Kat on his back, and TenTen followed behind them.

Chris felt two soft things on his back. He did have a reaction, as he clearly knew what those two things are, but he tried his best to hide it.

“Hey Chris, how does it feel to take advantage of me?” (Kat)

As if she knew what he was thinking about, Kat did not let the chance go to tease Chris.

“I think the one who is taking advantage is you.” (Chris) rolled his eyes at her. To think she still has the attitude to tease him at this moment,

“Heheheh!” (Kat) laughed a bit, before putting down her head again against his back.

“Um Chris, I am only gonna say this to pass the time, but, I am curious to know more about you, and where you come from.” (TenTen)

Chris was surprised that TenTen asked this. He only told them a few things about him and his world, they still need to know a lot about him.

“I guess it's fair that I tell you two. Well, where do I start?” (Chris) looked at the red-dark sky.

The path was luminated with stones that give a bright light. If it weren't for that, then they would have been walking around aimlessly in the dark.

“I guess I'll start with my family. I have an annoying sister named Rose Walker. She is the most annoying…” (Chris)

Chris told them everything about his life. Even up till he was binge watching anime, until he found himself in this world with a bluescreen.

Kat and TenTen listened to every little detail along the way. They were amazed by a lot of things in his world. Like the fact that there is no chakra in that world, or anything like that. It's a very simple world.

“Anything else that you two would want to know?” (Chris) asked.

“No. That's pretty much it.” (TenTen)

“I have another few questions, if you don't mind.” (Kat)

“I'll do my best to answer them.” (Chris)

“Is it true that Luna permitted you to have only five girls on your life?” (Kat)

TenTen and Chris reacted to her unpredictable question.

“Yes, is true.” (Chris) said truthfully.

“So… who are the other three lucky girls?” (Kat)

“I am not too sure yet. I'll think about it after this problem is over.” (Chris)

“I am guessing one of them will be Hinata? Am I right?” (Kat) asked.

“I am still not too sure. Anything could happen in the future. And besides, I might only get 3-4 girls only, it depends.” (Chris)

“What a boring answer. Okay then, what kind of girl do you like?” (Kat) asked another question.

“I like a girl who is nice, strong, beautiful or cute. I like a girl who is kind to others, and who is unique in a way.” (Chris)

“What do you mean by unique?” (Kat) wasn't sure what he meant by that. Even TenTen had her ears perked.

“Well, for example TenTen doesn't care if she's a girl or not, she strives to be the best. And because of that, there isn't another person who is more skilled as her in weapons. And also, because she is not obsessed with her looks like most girls are. She has a strong character, with her cute sides as well. TenTen is bold, and I like that part of her. She never gives up, and always gives it her best at everything she does. TenTen is kind and gentle, yet fierce and strong. That is what I meant by unique.” (Chris) said with a smile.

TenTen could feel her face getting warmer as Chris complimented her. To think that he viewed in such a way that even she doesn't see herself.

“Hmmm. To think you viewed TenTen like that.” (Kat) said as she enjoyed watching Tenten’s blushing face.

“And as for you. You always tease others, which always sets the mood right for us. Your bloodline is very strong and unique. You have a strong will, strong enough to get stronger to avenge your family. You never show weakness, not because you don't want to, but because you don't want to drag your friends into your problems, as it could endanger them. You are always there for others when they need you. I could go one further, but I'm afraid you'll pass out from blushing so hard.” (Chris) snickered as he imagined her expression.

Kat didn't say anything, but her blushed face says it all.

As the trio kept waking, they did not notice the presence of another person far away.

This person was covered in a green hoodie, which is why no one could discern its face.

The person has a set of binoculars as he used them on Chris and the others.

“Tsubaki, what's happening there.” (Random guy) said on her wristwatch.

“Stand down. Do not shoot them.” (Tsubaki) she just remembered that she had an important duty, so she ordered her men to stand down before they shoot them dead.

“But queen, this could be an attack from Fan?” (Random guy) said.

“I suspected that as well, but I have my doubts.” (Tsubaki)

“What doubts are you talking about?” (Random guy)

“One, they're just kids who looked lost, they are literally going nowhere as we speak.” (Tsubaki)

“And what's your other doubt?” (Random guy)

“I think, one of them is my daughter.” (Tsubaki)

“Oh I see… WAIT WHAT!?!?!” (Random guy) exclaimed in shock.

“Stand down, I will check it myself.” (Tsubaki) disconnected her communication with the guy on the other side.

She jumped up high and started running at a quick pace towards the trio:

With Chris’s sensing skill, he managed to finally sense another person nearby. He could tell that this person had no bad intentions, but he had his guard up.

“Kat, get off me. There is someone coming towards our way.” (Chris) let of of Kat.

The two girls and him took a defensive stance at whoever is coming this way.

It was kind of dark here, so they could not see very far.

*step* *step* *step*

The sound of running footsteps made it to their ears.

The sound got slower and softer. Chris stood in front of the girls to protect them. However, TenTen and Kat aren't just gonna stand around and do nothing. They each stood beside Chris, telling him that they don't meet protecting, as they will do their best to protect each other no matter what.

The footsteps came into a halt. They could see a figure with his arms up.

“I am not your enemy.” (Tsubaki) said.

Chris used his mind reading skill on him. Although he knew that this guy is telling the truth, he still had his guard up.

“Who are you?” (TenTen) asked the figure in front of her.

“I am the queen of my kingdom. My name is Tsubaki Masamune.” (Tsubaki)

“Masamune?” (TenTen) reacted to her last name, as it should be very familiar to her.

“Something wrong, TenTen?” (Chris) asked.

The figure in the green hoodie reacted to TenTen's name.

“Masamune is my father's last name.” (TenTen) responded.

“You're from Konoha, am I right?” (Tsubaki)

“Konoha is gone. The leaf had to escape from that place before it was over run by powerful creatures.” (Chris)

“What? Tell me, is someone named Hatori Masamune still alive?” (Tsubaki) said a bit loud.

“You know my father?” (TenTen) asked a bit surprised. Is her father famous in this place or something?

“Your father…yes, that confirms it.” (Tsubaki) said as if she couldn't believe it.

“Confirms what?” (Kat) said this time.

“Um, TenTen. Do you know who your mother is?” (Tsubaki)

“My mother? No, I don't know a lot about her. For some reason, father didn't like talking about her. But what is this all about?” (TenTen)

Chris has his eyes widened in shock, as he already knew what was about to happen.

“That bastard, just wait till I see him again.” (Tsubaki)

“Uh TenTen. I think I know who this person is.” (Chris) said as he lowered his guard down. If he is who he thinks this figure is, then there is no need for them to be afraid of it.

“Who?” (TenTen) asked.

“I can answer that.” (Tsubaki) removed her hoodie. Underneath, was a woman in her mid thirties. She had a bun on her hair, with some hair pins keeping it in place.

Her face, was very identical to TenTen's.

TenTen had her eyes wide opened. She dropped her weapons as she saw her picture only once in her house. In that picture, it was a woman kissing her forehead, when she was just an infant.

She did not need to hear it from her father, as she knew who that woman in the picture was. And ever since then, she has never forgotten her face.

With a smile, the lady said. “ TenTen, I'm your mother.” (Tsubaki)

TenTen covered her mouth in shock. Tears started to fall uncontrollably. These are not tears of sadness, they're tears of joy.

God knows how long TenTen has been longing to meet her mother.

“Mom…” (TenTen)

“Come give your mother a hug.” (Tsubaki) extended her arms at her.

TenTen dashed to her embrace. Her head stuffed into her stomach, and more and more tears started to overflow uncontrollably.

“It-its y-you. I fi-finally fou-found yo-yew.” (TenTen) said as she had a hard time controlling her breathing.

Tsubaki caressed her head gently, as she finally could hold her daughter once again.

“Yes TenTen, you found me. I am happy to hold you like this again.” (Tsubaki) said as a single tear escaped from her eye.

The two sat on the ground, as they embraced each other.

Chris and Kat smiled at this scene. To think they would find her mother here out of all places.
