《In the Naruto world (1)》Chapter 85 The escape part 2

Sorry that I disappeared for a while, but now I am back! Expect more chapters soon.
On the edge of the levitating mountain, the fight was getting intense. The 8 tailed aliens shot their long range attacks on the flying mountain.
Normally one of those shots would be very dangerous, but 8 of them at once, that is indeed overkill.
When the 8 shots were headed rapidly at the flying mountain, Naruto and the others got in the way to block that attack from destroying the new Tori no Kuni. If this mountain were to be shot down, they will lose.
“Kamui!” (Kakashi)
“Demon-beast style: Angry Rasengan!” (Naruto)
"Negate!” (Luna)
“Wood style: Wood Dragon release!” (Kat)
“Water Style: Water dragon release!” (Haku)
“Sand tsunami!” (Gaara)
“Summoning jutsu!” (Anko)
Everybody used their jutsus to counter attack the alien’s attacks, each one headed to a different chakra ball that the aliens just unleashed.
There weren’t enough powerful ninjas to counter attack all of those shots, but they had the help of the 6 Phoenixes, who were stronger than a Kage.
The Phoenixes knew that they had to help the ninjas, as they knew that they weren’t that strong to block those terrifying attacks.
The Phoenix king started off by launching his red flame at one of the chakra balls, which burned it instantly; this was followed by his own children doing the same thing. But, unlike Naruto and the others, they didn’t bother yelling out the name of their attacks out loud, as they saw no reason to do this.
*BOOM*
All of those attacks clashed into each other in mid-air, and made a huge noise as if an explosion had just occurred.
However, the tailed aliens weren’t just gonna end this in one shot, they were planning on shooting more chakra balls until they shoot down the flying mountain.
Isabella would have killed them all with her chains, but she is too weak to do anything right now.
Although everyone here could spam there ninjutsu to counter the aliens attacks, but the result is that the explosions are so powerful, that it is even affecting the entire floating piece of land. If this were to go on, the entire land will fall and smash into millions of pieces.
Itachi knew this, but what else could they do at this moment. If they don't do anything, those chakra balls will come into contact into the island, and kill them all.
“Enough!” (???)
At this moment, a mysterious figure appeared beside the aliens, and launched them all back several hundred feet away, with just a casual swing of his arm.
Itachi saw the figure, and he didn't recognize the man. He looked like a young man in his mid-twenties, had a smooth white skin, wore a beautiful blue-robe, and had long white-hair that reach down all the way to his back.
The man saw Itachi staring at him, and he only gave him a simple smile.
He casually swung his arm again, and send the entire floating island further away from here, so that Chris and the others would be safe from the aliens.
The strength of this man is unlimited. No one but him knows why he is here, or where he came from. But, everybody was glad that he appeared to their rescue.
From a distance, the mother alien was about to go back to kill Itachi and the others. But she stopped in her tracks when she saw the man in the blue robe.
You could see a smile appear on her face. That smile, contained nothing but joy.

“Rei. You're back.” (Mother alien)
The man before her, is the Rei that she had been talking about for so long.
Rei, only glanced at her, with a hint of sadness in his eyes.
“Dear, I let this happen to you, and I will fix it. Just wait for me, and we will be reunited once more.” (Rei)
Even from a very far distance, they could still hear each other's words as if they were standing near each other.
“Wait! Don't leave me here!” (Mother alien) charged at Rei as soon as she heard his words.
“I am so sorry, my love.” (Rei) said with sadness in his heart, as he had wished to hold her in his embrace, but couldn't.
He disappeared from sight, leaving nothing behind. The mother alien rushed so fast to touch the one she loves, but found herself unable to reach him as he had disappeared.
“NOOOOOO!!!” (Mother alien) shouted out to the sky in agony.
Back at the floating island, everyone sat on the ground, as they could finally breathe and take a break from this. This was a close call.
“Itachi, who was that person?” (Kakashi) asked from the side.
“I don't know either.” (Itachi) answered back.
Itachi was thinking of something else. He could tell that this man is very strong, probably even stronger than the mother alien, but why didn't he kill those aliens?
He had more than enough power to do so, but he only swung his arm and pushed them all back as if he swatted at flies.
There is nothing that he could see to identify in this man. He didn't wear a symbol from any village, nor wore any type of clothing that could give it away either.
“This world is too mysterious. The man is indeed very powerful. But, there are other things I must attend to.” (Itachi) turned around, and went to look for Chris.
Chris had told him that Minato Namikaze, aka the fourth Hokage, is in fact Naruto’s father. But, the mother alien told them that Fan Uchiha, is the real father of Naruto Uzumaki.
He could verify that Kushina Uzumaki is indeed Naruto’s mother, as they both shared the same last name. That is far too coincidental, so it must be true.
The weird thing is, that he had a small problem on his mind. When Chris had told him that Minato Namikaze was the father, he didn't think much about it and thought it was true.
But thinking about it now, he remembered that his mom once told his father that Kushina was pregnant, but no one knew who it was, not even Kushina knew who the father was.
Kushina was assumed to have been somehow raped by a man, but was never found. Kushina would have never even considered aborting the child, as that would have been murder. It is not the child’s fault that he was born.
Itachi is gonna get to the bottom of this. He thinks that this all started because of Fan Uchiha.
If Fan Uchiha is indeed responsible for creating such a monster, then he is a bigger threat than he imagined. Itachi has gone too long not taking this matter seriously, and he is gonna find Fan Uchiha, and kill him.
He won't expect a clear answer from Chris, but what else can he do right now.
“Brother, are you going to where Chris is?” (Luna) stopped suddenly Itachi in his tracks.
“Yes.” (Itachi) answered straightforwardly.
“That might not be the best thing to do right now. “ (Tsunade) appeared before them. “He is in a coma right now, and is very weak. It is not a smart idea to disturb his sleep.” (Tsunade)

“Tsk.” (Itachi) only turned back, and stopped in his tracks. He wanted to know what the hell was going on here, but Tsunade is right. Chris just lost his power, and lost a lot of blood. It will not be a smart idea to look for him now.
Tsunade quickly applied her healing ninjutsu on Isabella. Isabella started showing signs of healing, as she finally stopped coughing up blood, and looked in a better condition.
“Wait, if you're here, then who is taking care of Chris?” (TenTen) couldn't help but worry for Chris.
TenTen knew that Chris was the greatest healer of all time, but when his powers got taken from the mother alien, Tsunade is the best medical ninja they have right now.
“Relax, Sakura and Hina are taking care of him, he is in good hands.” (Tsunade) would usually never leave an injured patient like Chris, but as the Hokage, she needs to be here for her people as well.
And besides, she could tell that Sakura’s abilities were very good. If she knew that Sakura wasn't that strong about a month ago, then she would be shocked because progress like that is unheard of.
TenTen and the others were relieved when they heard that Sakura was taking care of Chris.
(Remember, Tsunade doesn't know yet that Hina left to go find her nieces, and Sakura is the only one taking care of Chris.)
“Kakashi, what the hell happened here?” (Tsunade) asked while she was still healing Isabella. She wasn't here when all of this happened, so she is completely unaware.
“Itachi had a better view than I did, so I suggest you tell him what happened here.” (Kakashi)
Tsunade only turned her head to face Itachi.
Itachi started to give her a brief explanation of what happened here, including the man that he just saw.
The entire piece of land is now floating safely out of harm's way. Even if the aliens tried to jump using their full strength, they wouldn't be able to reach it as it was too high for them.
Several people started experiencing headaches and difficulty breathing, the higher they are, the less oxygen there was,
But as ninjas, they had to adapt to this new life of theirs. And with the help of the trees growing on his floating island, the island did produce a bit of oxygen which helped the ninjas a bit.
The birds from Tori no Kuni enjoyed their new life styles. They had more space to live in, even if some of it is being occupied by the ninjas of Konoha.
The latitude didn't bother any of them, as they used to live in a much higher latitude before it was shot down by a dragon.
It has already been three days since the escape, and there have been no casualties at all. Itachi used the powers of his rinnegan, to keep an eye on the land below them.
His rinnegan eyes allow him to see even further than the Byakugan can. He saw everything down below, and wasn't surprised by what he saw.
What he saw was destruction. All the other villages, had been destroyed, not a single soul could be found.
Even the forests were not spared.
Itachi couldn't believe this. In the three days that they have been here, the elemental nation had been taken over by the army of aliens.
Itachi could assume that they were the only ones alive.
He had tried to locate that man, but to no avail. It's as if he never even existed.
In the three days that they have been up here, Chris had yet to wake up. Sakura, not once has she left her sensei’s side, as she was afraid that something would happen to him when she wasn't around.
If Tsunade wasn't the Hokage, then she would have taken some turns to take care of Chris, so Sakura would rest. But, with everything that has happened, it was hard for her to find a break.
Sakura doesn't have a lot of experience in taking care of patients, especially when her first patient is her own sensei.
During the second day, she realized that Chris had yet to clean his body. Usually, Chris would kill germs upon intact due to his healing Kekkei Genkai, but now, he is vulnerable.
The blood still hasn't been cleaned off yet from his body, and they had to, or he might come in contact with a disease and that is the last thing they want.
Sakura blushed hard at the thought of washing Chris’s body, as if he were her newborn child. She tried so hard to fight of her embarrassment, but she couldn't do it.
Sakura had no choice but to ask Hina for help. She would have asked Luna, Kat, TenTen or Hinata to help her, but she thought that they would also be very embarrassed. She didn't want to put them through that awkward situation.
She had no choice, but to ask an adult to do her job.
Hina only gave a chuckle when she heard Sakura's request. She understood that Sakura was too shy to do it, so Hina gladly said yes, and wiped Chris cleanly.
Hina had experience giving showers to her nieces when they were little. Although she has not done the same to a male kid, it reminded her when she used to do the same to Hanabi and Hinata. Such precious memories.
Hina wondered, what it would have been like to have Chris as her child. She doesn't know why, but she never had the thought of having her own babies. Maybe because she saw Hanabi and Hinata as her daughters, then that must be why.
Honestly, Hina doesn't know the answer to her question, but she didn't put that much thought to it anymore.
But if she had a choice to pick her own child, she would have chosen Chris out of all people.
Sakura stood outside the door that day, as she didn't dare to look inside.
And now you're all caught up. Right now, Chris laid on the ground, sleeping soundly without a care in the world.
Luna and the others had visited Chris during these past few days, but only for a short time. It was hard seeing him like this, especially for Hanabi.
They brought him some stuff, like flowers that they picked off, or just some stuff that they thought would be helpful for Chris.
Sakura was the only one who stayed behind for Chris. Hina also stayed with Chris for long periods of time, but Hanabi needed Hina to be there as well.
Sakura didn't mind at all spending all of her time with her sensei, she even found him kinda cute when she took a closer look at his face.
During these past few days, she had fed him, gave him some medication that could help his condition, and other things.
The only thing she couldn't do, is taking out his bedpan. That was Hina's job.
Right now, Sakura used her legs to support Chris’s head. She had started brushing his hair, as if that were a natural thing to do.
She didn't find this weird at all, but she thought that she would help him in any way that isn't too embarrassing.
Sakura even found it fun to mess around with his hair. She softly brushed his hair, as her smooth fingers came in contact with his scalp,
She once listened to the sound of his heartbeat, because she wanted to make sure if it was okay. One of the claw marks were too close to his heart, and even Tsunade wasn't entirely sure if his heart was unaffected or not.
She did find it embarrassing, but she couldn't rely on Hina to do everything for her, or she will never become a great medical ninja.
Last night, as she listened to his heartbeat, she found it rather calm and peaceful. With each passing beat, she found herself drawing closer to his heart, until her entire head sank into his chest.
She found herself getting sleepy, as if each heartbeat was hypnotizing her, and she fell into a deep sleep,
She found herself waking up in his embrace. She had been on top of him all night.
Sakura gave a surprised yelp, and blushed heavily.
What was she doing? This is not something that a medical ninja should do to his/her patients. Heck, she wasn't even that close to her sensei. If anyone should do something like that, should be Luna herself.
But strangely, she found herself still getting drawn to him.
She didn't think of it these past few days, but, she found herself unable to separate from him. She looked at his figure, and had these weird feelings for him.
This feeling, was vastly different whenever she thought of Sasuke. She didn't know how to describe it, but she felt happy, and a sense of… all the wonderful things in one place.
“Wait! Don't tell me… that I like him?!” (Sakura) said to herself.
Sakura shook her head as she covered her red tomato-face, with her hands. For as long as she can remember, she had always liked Sasuke, and she still does. But looking at Chris, she didn't even know what to think anymore.
“No, it can't be. He already has Luna, and TenTen likes him too. But… why do I have a sense of warmth when I'm near him?” (Sakura)
Even with all these emotions piled up, Sakura gently lifted up Chris’s head, and rested it on top of her legs.
“Maybe… just this once.” (Sakura) said as if she was talking to Chris.
Chris’s facial description wasn't that bad, if anything, she found it handsome.
His face was tanned slightly, his straight black hair that reached up to his neck. His strong figure as a result of training. He wore a Hyuuga robe, which gave him another type of charm.
(I think that this is the first time that I give a description about the MC. Took me long enough.)
Sakura lightly caressed his smooth hair, and it felt good in her hands. She slowly made her way to his forehead, and planted him a kiss.
“Please wake up soon.” (Sakura) said gently.
Sakura ignored her blush and just continued brushing his hair.
As for Chris, even though he hasn't woken up yet, he could still feel his surroundings. He knew what was happening around his surrounding, and he only thought of one thing.
‘Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!’ Chris thought endlessly.

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
