DAY OF THE THIRD ROUND OF THE CHUUNIN EXAMS.

When I got back home, it was already so late. I cannot believe how long it took me to learn the plant energy. I arrived so late that I practically didn't get a wink of sleep at all.

I haven't slept in days, and I am feeling drowsy and a bit cranky. Thank god my healing Kekkai Genkai can heal fatigue, but my mind still needs to sleep. I can still go for another day without sleep, mostly thanks to my insanely huge chakra pool.

I didn't notice it at first, but my old clothes were neatly folded and clean on my bed. Looks like Hina washed these clothes herself. That is very kind of her.

Yu came here half an hour later to tell me that the Chuunin exams don't start in another 3 hours.

So I changed quickly to my old clothes, and then went out with Hinata and Luna by my side. I would like to be there a bit early. And I would also like to eat something, I didn't eat at all on the land of birds.

Luna was very much still embarrassed that I kissed her. She looked down at the floor and didn't even say a word to me.

Hinata didn't know what had happened last night, and thought that Luna was sad. She thought losing that ring somehow made me so mad, that Luna didn't want to speak even a single word out of fear.

“Sensei, please don't be mad at Luna for losing your ring, it's not her fault.” (Hinata) said. Trying to protect her friend.

Am I really the kind of guy who would lash out his anger on his cute girlfriend.

But I understood why Hinata thought that Luna was sad.

“Hinata, lets just say that Luna, is like that for an entire different reason.” (Chris)

Hinata didn't believe me. She would never expect me to kiss her last night. But I did, and it felt good.

On our way, we ran into Kat, Sasuke and Naruto. They all heard where we were staying, and decided to wait for us.

“Long time no see, sensei.” (Naruto) did a slight bow to show his respect.

Hm… the real Naruto will never do this… unless.

“Do you want some ramen.” (Chris) I figured out his plot. Trying to be nice to me so I can give him a free meal.

“Yeah! You read my mind!” (Naruto) said cheerfully.

This cheap student of mine…

“How are you, sis. Did they treat you with respect at the Hyuuga place.” (Sasuke) said.

Sasuke was in fact very angry right now. When he figured out that Luna was living at the Hyuuga place for her own protection, he thought that he should be there for her as well.

When he told this to the Hokage, he was denied entry. The Hokage made up some lame excuse that the Hyuuga palace was full, and they couldn't hold more people.

Sasuke knew that the old man was lying, and tried to argue with him before he was kicked out of the Hokage’s place.

Then Kakashi came to tell him the news, that from now on, Sasuke will be living with Kakashi.

He had no other choice, as it was the Hokage’s order.

What even made him more mad, was when Kakashi accidentally told him that Chris was also living at the Hyuuga place with her sister.

This got him even more mad. He has spent almost 13 years with Luna, and Chris has met her for a month, but they thought that he could do a better job protecting her.

Now that he unlocked his sharingan, he thought that now he was on par with Chris.

(Ya right.)

“They did. They are all nice people.” (Luna) despite being embarrassed right now, she answered her brother’s question.

“Good. And did he do anything to you.” (Sasuke) pointed at me.

Okay. That's it. REVENGE!!! He ruined my reputation, then I will pay him back as well.

“Of course I did, I kissed her last night, so what.” (Chris)

Luna couldn't believe I just said that, and fainted with a really red face.

She fell on top of Hinata, which Hinata caught her and helped her balance. This reminded her of all the times when she would pass out, like Luna. This also got her face to turn red.

Kat only smirked when I said it.

“Same old Chris.” (Kat) said with a smile. She respected my boldness.

Naruto thought that it was kinda cool. He didn't know what a kiss truly meant, so he just thought that it was something that friends to to appreciate each other. Kinda like how a brother kisses a sister, or something like that.

When Sasuke heard this, he was kinda stunned. He heard from his sis that it was an accident back in the forest of death. But this time it was definitely on purpose.

He didn't get angry at all. He only asked this question to tease his sister. Never would he thought that I actually did something to her.

“Hm,.,” (Sasuke) just shrugged it off and then went walking by himself. Now that he unlocked his sharingan, he thought that I am not his opponent anymore.

When I read his mind, I couldn't help but smile a bit.

“Sasuke.” (Chris)

“What?” (Sasuke)

“I challenge you, right here right now.” (Chris)

“You are not my opponent anymore.” (Sasuke)

Although he has learned to better control his anger, his cockiness shows no signs of improving.

“Wanna put money where your mouth is.” (Chris)

Hey, if I'm gonna challenge him, then I might as well go for a bet.

“A bet? What kind of bet are you proposing.” (Sasuke) kinda liked my idea of a bet.

“Loser has to obey the winner on anything he wants. Of course the winner cannot sent the person to his death, or to the hospital.” (Chris)

“Hm… interesting, then if I win, you will have to…” (Sasuke)

Sasuke was about to say that I will have to break up with Luna. But doing that, would make Luna very sad, and he cannot do that.

“I'll think of something once I win.” (Sasuke)

Once he'll win… bruh!

“Okay. Then let's fight right here right now.” (Chris)

It was still pretty early, so not a lot of civilians were present at the moment. And we still have enough time to eat before the third round starts.

“You're not gonna state your bet?” (Sasuke)

“It's a secret.” (Chris)

What I have in mind for him, will definitely change his reputation in the leaf village.

Sasuke just shrugged it off and took a fighting stance.

“Kat, would you be the referee for this match.” (Chris)

I could have asked Hinata, but she's busy taking care of Luna. And Naruto is an idiot in situations like these, so the only one who could ref for us is Kat.

“Sure.” (Kat)

Kat's mind was still set on that ring. If Chris could give one to her, then that will greatly improve her strength, and bring her faster to achieve her revenge.

“1 2 3 start!” (Kat) stated firmly. Then the match begun.

Sasuke activates his sharingan powers, then you could see that he has 3 tomoes in each of his eyes.

He's getting stronger. But not at the speed that I'm improving.

Sasuke darted right at me. He has been waiting for a rematch since the land of waves.

(I still remember writing that chapter. Good times indeed.)

Sasuke threw a bunch of shurikens at me, while running at a regular speed.

He threw these shurikens perfectly. He even cut off my escape route, by throwing even more shurikens in that particular area.

The sharingan has even improved Sasuke’s aim, speed, reflexes, and possibly even his strength.

He has even some strong genjutsus on him, but that doesn't work on me.

Since I didn't want to kill him, I had to go easy on him.

I drew a reinforced steel sword out, and blocked every single shuriken thrown at me.

Sasuke didn't expect for me to wield a sword. He still kept a calm expression, and ran even faster than before.

He thought that when I defeated his ass last time, I used speed to defeat him. So he thinks that with the help of his sharingan, and his new speed, he can finally block my attacks.

But I used my time Kekkai Genkai to beat his ass. And now that I am much stronger than I was before, I don't need to rely on that cheat ability anymore.

He tried to kick me, stab me, and punch me without even hesitating at all. He has no intentions of losing to the same guy twice.

If this were a normal challenge then I would let him win. But he ruined my reputation, and I will return it to him fully.

Sasuke was getting tired that none of his attacks are working at all. So he used the chidori for his next attack.

“Chidori!” (Sasuke)

He once again aimed for me. He had no intention to stop this attack.

I only smiled and extended my hand to where his chidori was gonna land on me.

Everyone was shocked at my action. Even they wouldn't dare confront something like the chidori head on. Even if I might not die from this attack, I won't get out of it uninjured.

Sasuke hesitated at bit from my action, but still continued to with his attack. It's like a game of chicken, whoever moves out of the way first, loses this round.

His attack connected with my hand, which means I just blocked his attack with my bare hand. Then nothing happened?

Sasuke was confused. His attack hit my bare hand, and yet I didn't even flinch from it.

Just when Sasuke’s attack connected with my hand, I absorbed it. That's why I didn't feel anything or even got slightly injured.

“How?” (Sasuke) wanted to know how I stopped this attack. He spend quite some time with Kakashi developing this skill.

Although it isn't as strong as Kakashi’s chidori, it's not far from it either.

Besides, the chidori is nothing compared to the move I created back at the land of birds.

“Before you start asking questions, look at your foot.” (Chris) I pointed to his right foot.

Sasuke looked down to see what I was pointing, and his foot was entangled with a vine?

Before he could think of anything next, his foot was dragged forcefully by the vine.

I absorbed energy from the environment. It's not as good as the land of birds, so it took me some time before I could use my new plant energy.

The small vine that was entangled in Sasuke’s foot, grew bigger and stronger, then suddenly even more vines appeared underground and entangled themselves all over Sasuke’s limbs.

Right now, he was stuck to the ground with vines binding his limbs to the ground.

He had no idea what was happening right now. How the hell did vines pop out of nowhere and attack him. Did he do something to piss off Mother Nature?

I kneeled beside him, then said.

“Give up.” (Chris) beating him is too easy. It's gonna be even more of a challenge if I can convince him to give up:

“An Uchiha never gives up.” (Sasuke)

“Hm… do you remember, when you attacked me and I spanked your ass till you gave up.” (Chris)

Sasuke did remember, it was the most humiliating thing to have ever happened to him. He even got scared when I mentioned it.

‘Is he gonna do it again. Oh no, not in front of them.’ Sasuke thought.

The matter of me owning his ass has never reached the public's ears. Mostly because only Luna, Sasuke and me knew of the incident. And since we never told anyone else, then no one else knew.

But if Sasuke were to be seen by a public, then he would never be able to show his face to the public ever again.

“Relax, I am not a masochist. So I won't be doing that again.” (Chris) I said truthfully.

Sasuke was relieved when I told him that I won't whip him again.

“instead, I am gonna make you wish you gave up when you had the chance.” (Chris)

I then made the vines spread his limbs apart. And tickled him anywhere I could think of.

“What are you… ahaha ha ha ahaha not please! Ahahahaah make it ahahahaaha stop.” (Sasuke)

Sasuke tried whatever he could to stop laughing, but couldn't. It was just too much to bear.

“You gonna give up.” (Chris) I waited for an answer.

“Never abaahahaha! Stop it!” (Sasuke) said.

“That's okay, we still have a little less than 3 hours till the third round starts. I'll see just how long you can go on.” (Chris)

“Wait! Unite me hahahaaahahaahaaaa!” (Sasuke)

Sasuke's laughter is kinda… creepy. I ignored him and walked towards the crew.

Luckily for us, Ichiraku’s ramen shop was right near us. So I led everyone but Sasuke inside the restaurant.

Kat, Hinata, Naruto, and Luna (who just woke up) couldn't believe it. I can control vines.

They weren't surprised that I beat Sasuke easily. What was more surprising is that I can use a move that they have never seen before.

“What in the world was that?” (Kat)

She had the weirdest expression out of all of them. She is the only few people in this world who can control wood style. And seeing those vines in action, reminded her of her wood style.

She even thought that she and I were related somehow.

“That's just a little power I learned. It's very hard to learn. 5 bowls of ramen, please.” (Chris) I said to Teuchi.

“Okay.” (Teuchi) said happily. It's the first time that he has seen Naruto come here with some friends. So he was very happy for him.

“Is it, the wood style.” (Kat)

She couldn't help it. That weird ability and her own Kekkai Genkai are far too similar.

“No. It's plant energy.” (Chris)

“Is it… a Kekkai Genkai.” (Luna) said from the side.

I already had 4 strong Kekkai Genkais, so it might not be surprising to hear if I had a fifth Kekkai Genkai.

“Nope. It's a natural energy that I learned. It's nothing like a jutsu, it's just unique.” (Chris)

“Can anyone learn it.” (Kat) said.

If she could combine it with her own Kekkai Genkai, then wouldn't her powers soar through the skies. She might even surpass the first Hokage.

“Yes, but it's extremely hard to learn, and very dangerous.” (Chris)

Not did it take me so long to learn, but it also almost killed me multiple times. I would gladly teach them, but not at the risk of their life. Unless if I somehow learn to to repel the natural energy when they absorb it, then they're as good as dead.

“I don't care. Teach me, please…” (Kat) pleaded to learn this new power.

“It can kill you. I was lucky enough to make it out alive, but I can't say the same about you.” (Chris)

“Is there any way that you can teach me. Without it taking my life.” (Kat) hoped that I could somehow teach her.

Maybe there might be a way to teach her without killing her. But I need to find the way first.

“I'll look for the way, someday, but not today. Okay.” (Chris)

“Promise.” (Kat)

“Sure. I promise.” (Chris)

I also thought the same way as she did. If Kat learned to control this plant energy, along with her wood Kekkai Genkai, then she will be a powerful existence to be reckoned with.

“Good.” (Kat) then sat down and waited for her food to come. She doesn't normally go to Ichiraku’s, but it doesn't hurt to try something new.

“What else did you learn. Sensei.” (Naruto) said.

Although Naruto wanted to be the Hokage, he had always dreamed of adventuring throughout the world and do interesting things. His obsession with adventure stories that the Hokage has told him from his younger days, is what drove him to want to travel and be a ninja hero. Then he would retire, and become the Hokage.

“Cool things. You wouldn't believe what had just happened.” (Chris)

And then I told everyone what happened in the land of birds. They were all fascinated.

A world where only birds exist sounds fascinating.

(Not really, is was pretty boring for me.)

“Can we go see them.” (Hinata) said.

She likes pretty things. And when I told them about a pretty bird like Hail, she couldn't want but to go and see her.

“They're probably still recuperating from the beating I gave them. And their village needs to settle in now that their food problem is solved. So give them time.” (Chris)

“I wanna see the pretty birds as well. Maybe we can ride one and fly to the sun.” (Naruto) said with shining eyes.

“I don't think that's even possible. Naruto.” (Hinata) smiled at Naruto’s funny thoughts.

“Um, Chris. Can you please let go of my brother, he already gave up about half an hour ago.” (Luna)

It's true. After an hour of telling them my adventure in the land of birds, Sasuke couldn't take it anymore and gave up.

Although I heard him, I wanted to finish my food first.

“Sure. I think it's time to leave. Thanks for the food.” (Chris) I said as I paid for our food.

“Thank you.” (Hinata)

“Thanks!” (Kat)

“See ya.” (Luna)

“Thanks old man!” (Naruto) waved at Teuchi.

“Hm! Good luck in your exam, ya crazy kids.” (Teuchi) couldn't be anymore happier right now. Naruto finally made some good friends, he felt very happy for him.

I walked up to Sasuke who is still laughing so hard, that he's practically crying. Maybe I went too far this time.

It's not my fault, I am quite cranky for not sleeping these past few days. I'll sleep after Hanabi’s birthday, which is tomorrow.

“Please… let me go.” (Sasuke) pleaded.

“Ugh fine. Why are you so demanding these days. You've been asking for the same thing for half an hour.” (Chris)

When Sasuke heard this, he almost coughed up blood. He called him demanding, because he wanted Chris to release him from the vines. How shameless can Chris get.

I also did this because now his cocky attitude isn't there anymore. Maybe this'll drive him to be stronger, stronger than me. Which I hope to see one day.

Now there is one person who I would like to change, Sakura. She is very strong, and will later rival Tsunade in the future. Except when it comes to chest size, which Sakura will lose hands down.

But how do I make her to be my student. I will think of something when the time comes.
