With Valor on my ass, there is no way that I can't fight him head on.

Then Valor gathered a bunch of natural energy at his beak, similar like what Marco did, them he launched a scorching amount of hot fire-lava at me.

I couldn't think of anything else to counter that attack, so I threw my sword directly at him.

I put all of my strength into that throw, and it did nullify Valor’s attack, but it missed his body entirely.

“Petty trick. You've lost your weapon, and that will be your downfall.” (Valor) said as a cocky smile could be seen on his face.

I couldn't help but smile a bit too. I then made one handed sign with my right hand, then my master sword came back to me as if I were a strong magnet.

Valor noticed my smirk. He didn't know why I smirked like that, till he figured it out too late. His fighting instincts told him to move, but he was too slow to react as my master sword cut off part of his wing.

Without his wing to support him in the sky, he could no longer fly anymore. He crashed on the stage, right on top of poor Marco.

“Valor too! Great, first Rogue, then Marco, then Valor, he's stronger than I thought.” (Geo) couldn't help but say it in shock.

“Geo listen, you need to take him down. I can heal them while you stall enough time for me to fully heal Marco and Valor:” (Hail) said as sweat covered her face.

“You sure, sis? It looks like you're at your almost at your limit already.” (Geo) couldn't help but notice how tired she's getting from healing Marco’s wounds. And now she also has to heal Valor. She definitely won't have enough energy to fully heal them.

“It's okay. Just trust me.” (Hail) said as calmly as she could.

“Instant-Rasen-Kamehameha.” (Chris) surprise motherfuckers!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm kinda getting bored here, and tired. I already used up more energy than I needed to. And if she does indeed heal both of those strong Phoenixes, then I will lose this fight.

So before I launched my Rasen-kamehameha at those phoenixes whom were just sitting there like sitting ducks, I teleported on the ring with one of the seals I planted earlier. This move reminded me when Goku used his Kamehameha and instant transmission on Cell.

And although Geo and Hail did have their guards up, they never expected me to just suddenly teleport near them and blast them with my Rasen-Kamehameha.

Even Marco who had just awakened, blacked out again due to my sneak attack. Valor was still conscious, and now he was barely clinging on to his consciousness, it is only a matter of time before he also blacks out.

Hail and Geo who were the weakest out of all of their brothers, also could not prepare for my sudden assault.

On the entire area, only one living being was left, me.

“...” (everyone) the whole scene was quiet. The Phoenixes who were supposed to be the strongest beings on the world, lost to a human kid.

“Well that didn't last fucking long.” (Al) said.

It's true what he said. This fight should have lasted way longer than it should have. But it didn't.

The Phoenix king had an expression of disappointment, for his children. How could they have been so blind, couldn't they have seen the way to beat this human kid. He was a bit angry with his children.

He got up from his seat, and said in a loud voice.

“As you can see, the winner is the human, but however sadly I must-” (Phoenix king)

Before the Phoenix king finished his speech, I interrupted him.

“I give up. The Phoenixes win this round” (Chris) I said loudly.

I was also disappointed, not at me, but at those Phoenixes. If they couldn't even beat me in 1v1 then they're too weak for me to use them in actual combat. They don't even respect each other, so how could they respect me.

I Remember that when Naruto first summoned a giant toad.

(Forgot his name)

The giant toad wanted Naruto to do two things before he can ever summon him again.

1 to prove that he has the strength and the ability to summon him.

2 to earn his respect.

Although I have proved that I am more than capable to obtain the Phoenix summoning scroll, they will never yield to someone who they think is of a lower life form than them.

And if they don't respect me, then they'll cause me more harm than good in the future.

So it's better to just learn the new natural energy, rather than to gain a summoning scroll that'll bring me pain.

The Phoenix king has only been shocked a few times in his lifetime, and this is one of those rare times. He knew that I was shameless and that I would accept the scroll, so why did I give up when all of his children were already off stage.

And just like the Phoenix king, the other birds on the sidelines had their beaks dropped on the ground.

Winning this round was already on my grasp, and yet I just let it go.

Even the only Phoenix who was still conscious, which was Hail, also couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Geo was far too weak to endure my Rasen-kamehameha at point black range, so he fainted as well. And since Hail is a healer, she was able to heal her body before she fainted from her pain.

“Explain to me, why did you quit even though you knew you had already won this fight.” (Phoenix king)

“Because I don't think your children are not ready to be in a real battle of life and death.” (Chris)

“Hm… go on.” (Phoenix king)

“Let me put this in simple words so everyone can understand. Earlier when I mentioned them about the throne, your two sons were about to fight each other. This means that they have a problem competing with each other. If this was a real fight, then they would have died on that spot, because if they turn against each other, then the enemy will be the one who will win.

And also, I have noticed that they are far too mentally weak. Your brown son (Rogue) couldn't take the fact that I could fly and he couldn't, making his will to fight end without even thinking about helping his siblings. As well as Geo, he couldn't stand it when they called him weak and useless.

They have not once in this whole entire time fight me I pairs. They only fought me 1-on-1 not even a 2v1. This means that they don't cooperate at all. If they don't work together, than the enemy will have an easier time taking care of them. If they had at least fought me 2 at a time, then maybe I would be the one off the stage, not them.

The only one who has actually done anything effective in this fight is her.” (Chris) I pointed at Hail.

“...me?” (Hail) said a bit perplexed.

“How do you mean?” (Phoenix king) said also confused at my statement.

“If I didn't interrupt her earlier, then she would have healed her brothers, which is very crucial to the fight. In addition, she also tried to prevent her brothers from fighting each other when I mentioned them about the throne. But the only think that I didn't like about her, is that she lets her brothers boss her around. And that she is far too soft to actually harm somebody else. If it weren't because of this, then she would have been a great leader.” (Chris)

That was a long ass speech. Sorry it's just that I had far too many things bottled up in me. So I'm just trying to express them right now. And hopefully I will never say another long ass boring speech ever again.

“And if I were up to you, how will you fix this problem.” (Phoenix king)

“I may not look like it, but I have several students under me. I have improved their strengths that they are completely different persons. And there is a way to fix your children's problems. With patience and discipline.” (Chris)

“Ahahahahaha!” (Phoenix king) laughed out loud.

No one has ever seen the Phoenix king in this state, not even his own children. They all had no idea how to react to this scene.

“Out of my thousand years that I have been living, I have never seen such a human. You might be shameless, but you have heart.” (Phoenix king)

The Phoenix king dropped to the ground and landed in front of me. The huge impact caused a huge amount of air and dirt to fly all around us.

He was at least a few meters taller than his children. Just standing in front of me is making me want to bow before him. Is this the might of a powerful Phoenix.

“The truth is human, before you gave up, I was never gonna hand you over the Phoenix contract.” (Phoenix king) said without a hint of shame.

This was nothing new to anybody but Chris. A few years ago when Itachi won the tournament, the king still didn't give him the Phoenix summoning scroll.

“What do you mean?” (Chris) I said a bit confused.

“It was never about winning, it was about teaching my kids a lesson. I knew about my children's condition more than anyone. And I just waited for somebody to point out their weaknesses. And even if you won, I wouldn't want my children to slow down as someone as talented as you or Itachi. That is why I never gave anyone the scroll.” (Phoenix king)

“So this round was just something to teach your kids a lesson. Then why didn't you just beat them up, and you could have taught them a lesson yourself.” (Chris)

“I would have gladly done that, but they wouldn't have understood the message. They knew that I am stronger than them, so me beating them up is no different than bullying. Which is why I needed the help of a random stranger to teach them that they're just a frog in a well.” (Phoenix king)

“Ah I see! Did you by any chance lie about the other prizes as well.” (Chris)

“Not at all. We can start training whenever you're ready.” (Phoenix king)

“I'm ready now.” (Chris) I cannot wait to try out the new natural energy that he has been talking about.

“A little of hasty aren't we… I like you. Follow me and we'll start your training. And on the way, tell me about yourself.” (Phoenix king)

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

Before the Phoenix king and I left, he stomped his foot heavily on the ground, and then deactivated the giant bird cage field.

Nobody reacted to the sudden situation. It was too fast and too much for their little bird minds to process through.

Most of them didn't say anything and left. There is no reason to stay here anymore, and this battle somehow made them forget how hungry they were.

Al took his girlfriend back to his home. He can come and collect the year supply of bird seeds later, he thought that Chris had done too much already for him, so he'd rather not be a nuisance to him.

“Um dad!? A little help please…” (Hail)

Hail’s body was underneath this body of her unconscious brothers. And now that she is weak from the fight, she had no spare strength to help them at all. Much less herself.

She pleaded for her father to come and help them, but he didn't hear her.

Good thing Rogue wasn't unconscious on top of her, otherwise he would have crushed her to death due to his weight.

BACK TO THE HYUUGA COMPOUND!

It was already 6:00 Am in Konoha. Everyone in the Hyuuga place is sound asleep, they don't usually wake up until 7:00, unless if there is a special occasion.

In one of these rooms, Luna slept quietly in her new room. She looked like an angel. She was wearing cute little pink pyjamas which made her even cuter than before.

Although she was asleep, she was worried for me still. She was currently holding the summoning scroll very tightly, she was afraid that she would lose it.

“OPEN UP! I KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE LOVER BOY!” (Anko)

Out of the blue, Anko interrupted everyone's sleep in the Hyuuga palace. She was pounding and yelling heavily outside the door. For some reason she was looking for Chris.

A random Hyuuga lady took the task of answering Anko before she annoyed everyone to death.

“What do you want.” (Hyuuga lady) opens the door and said in a grouchy manner to Anko.

Anko didn't answer her at all and just barged inside the Hyuuga palace.

“I know he's here, I can smell him. Tell me where is he.” (Anko)

“Who?” (Hyuuga lady) said a bit confused.

“Lover boy.” (Anko)

Anko never learned Chris’s real name. So she just called him lover boy.

“Do you mean Chris.” (Luna)

Luna recognized that voice back from the Chunin exams.

“Oh! If it isn't lover boy’s girlfriend. Where is he.” (Anko)

“What do you want with him.” (Luna)

“Business! Now tell me where is he.” (Anko)

“Gone. I don't know when he'll be back.” (Luna) Answered.

“Hmm…” (Anko) leaned closer to Luna and started examining her.

After confirming that she wasn't lying. She let out a breath of disappointment, and left.

If lover boy isn't here, then she doesn't see the reason she should stay here any longer.

Luna was left confused, as she she stared at Anko’s figure leaving the Hyuuga palace. Why would she look for Chris at a time like this?

“Is she gone...” (Hinata) came out of her room, and asked Luna a question.

“...” (Luna) looked at Hinata with a blank expression.

They were both wearing the same pink pyjamas. After a few seconds, they laughed a bit. What are the odds of both of them owning the same type of pyjama.

“Where's sensei?” (Hinata) couldn't help but ask. she overheard why Anko came of the Hyuuga palace, so she was kinda worried for her sensei.

“He's gone off to train, or something. But I'm sure he'll be back soon.” (Luna)

“You guys talking to me.” (Chris) I appeared out of nowhere and startled the two cute girls.

“Ah! When did you come back?!” (Luna) didn't even feel my presence. So how did I came back without alerting her tracking seal that I placed on her and Kat.

“I am just a shadow clone. The original me is somewhere far away. He send me here to train you two and Hinabi.” (Chris)

The Phoenix tournament actually took longer than Chris expected, so there is no way he could have returned to Konoha in time to teach the girls.

So he made some shadow clones, then he teleported them to the Hyuuga place. That way his clones would teach his students, while he learns how to control natural energy from the Phoenix king himself.

“Oh okay… can I ask you a question first.” (Luna) said with a bit of sadness in her words.

“Sure.” (Chris)

“Is he, by any chance, mad at me. Is that why he went away.” (Luna)

She was still a bit depressed from their little dispute. And she wondered all night yesterday, if he only disappeared to get away from her.

I smiled a bit seeing as how she cares about our last fight.

I petted her little head with my hand, then I said.

“I might be a shadow clone, but I also share boss’s feelings and thoughts. He isn't mad at you, he only disappeared to learn a new move. He should be back in no time.” (Chris)

Luna could tell that I was telling the truth. She held tightly to my hand which was petting her small head, she smiled happily then said.

“Thank you for telling me.” (Luna)

“No problem. Let's get to training. After that, you two can go shopping and have some fun together. It's better if you two take a break before the third round. That way you will have more energy to fight.” (Chris)

I might be stuck in the land of birds for another day. The third exam doesn't start in two days. That should be more than enough time for me to learn how to control this new natural type of energy.

“What's going on here.” (Hanabi) said cutely while rubbing her cute eyes, she walked out of her room and asked us a simple question.

“...” (everyone)

When we looked at Hanabi, she was wearing the same type of Pyjamas as Luna and Hinata.

Everyone laughed at the weird coincidence that just happened.

“I wanna play too.” (Chris) I said playfully.

And with the power of creation, I made my clothes change to the same type of Pyjama as they were wearing… I only did it because it was funny.

Then everybody laughed hard. They couldn't contain their laughter at all, and just laughed it up for a good half a minute.

“You look funny in pink, Onii-chan.” (Hanabi) said to me.

“I may look funny, but you look as cute as a doll.” (Chris)

I picked up Hanabi then started tickling her a bit.

“Please stop! That tickles.” (Hanabi) couldn't contain her laughter and laughed harder than she ever has.

‘Maybe someday I can invite them for a sleepover at my room. I always wanted to know what it feels like to have a sleepover. Of course, sensei isn't included for obvious reasons.’ Hinata thought to herself.

‘He look so happy with Hanabi. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that they really are brother and sister’ Luna thought to herself as well.

Hinata and Luna smiled at how well I got along with the little Loli. In their minds, I am someone they respected.

What a great way to start the day.
