Luna woke up shortly after a while. Now she really didn’t want to see me at all. Infact, she basically kicked me out of the room all because I said I wanted to start a family with her.

I never actually told her that I wanted to start a family with her until we’re like 17 years old atleast. Imagine starting a family when we’re only like 13 years, not happening.

She sincerely thought that I wanted to start a family RIGHT NOW I only wanted to start a family only when we’re older. I was also afraid that she might decline, but in a way, she said yes. Otherwise she wouldn’t have blushed hard from that idea. If she hated me, she would have thought as my idea as a gross one.

I waited outside the room she was in. Yugao was very confused by what was happening to us, she didn’t witness anything that happened at all, as she was under Itachi’s Genjutsu.

“Hey Chris!” (Kat)

“How’s my sister doing.” (Sasuke)

I turn to my side and see Sasuke, and Kat coming here together.

“Hey guys.” (Chris)

“How’s Luna doing.” (Kat) couldn’t help but ask in concern for her friend.

“She's doing a lot better, she should be out in a few days.” (Chris)

“Good. I was afraid that she recieved a fatal blow from that monster or something.” (Sasuke)

Sasuke didn’t know that the monster was actually his baby sister. Me and Kat looked at each other, and just shrugged it off. We didn’t want to tell him at all that the monster he was talking about was Luna, because it’s too much of a drag.

“Why are you outside?” (Kat)

“She kicked me out.” (Chris)

“Why?” (Sasuke)

“I just said that I wanted to start a family with her, I think that she thought I meant right now, and not when we’re like 17 or 18 years old.” (Chris)

Both were shocked to hear this, but remained composed. Sasuke fully accepted my relationship with Luna, so he didn’t emmit much killing intent to me, and just kinda shrugged it off.

Kat actually found this kinda funny, and I didn’t sense a bit of jealousy in her. According to every single anime that i’ve watched, she was supposed to have a bit of jealousy, but she didn’t even think of anything like that.

“Ha! You’re so bold Chris.” (Kat) said as she smacked me hard on my shoulder.

“...” (Sasuke) didn’t want to say anything at all.

“Can we go in and check on her.” (Kat)

“Sure! And can you ask her if I can come in as well, it’s getting lonely in here.” (Chris)

I said that as an excuse to come in the room again.

Then both Kat and Sasuke entered the room without saying a word. The next few seconds I heard Luna yell out.

“NO!!!” (Luna)

That huge shout was directed at me. She still didn’t want to see me. I’ll just wait for her outside here, and hopefully she can regain her composure.

OUTSIDE OF KONOHA

Third person P.O.V.

In a dark room, somewhere safe and secure from the rest of the world, were a group of members from the Akatsuki. They were all in spirit form, each one of them were called and used the power of their ring to communicate with each other at long distances.

“I called you out here to see how your progress with the capturing of the tailed beasts is going.” (Pain)

(Question: Is it spelled “Pain” or is it spelled “Pein” let me know.)

“The plan to capture the 1st tailed beast is progressing smoothly. We shall capture it after the destruction of the leaf village.” (Sasori)

“The second tailed beast is being protected by the Raikage, and the 8 tailed beast as well. According to my research, they are more powerful since they have alligned with the rich Gato. Requesting permission for more time to capture it.” (Deidara)

“I’ll give you one more month.” (Pain)

“That’s good enough.” (Deidara)

“Three tails is also within my grasp, the plan to capture it to bring it here is going smoothly as well.” (Sasori)

“Fourth tails is now captured and is now in our grasp. It’ll take a few days to get here.” (Kakuzo)

“Five tails is still being located. Estimated time 1-2 weeks until we find it’s wherabouts.” (Hidan)

“The same with 6 tails, need at least a week or two to find it’s whereabouts.” (Kisame)

“7th tails has been found, and a plan to capture it has begun. Estimated time 1 month before capture.” (Itachi)

“I don’t think we have enough people to look for 8 tails.” (Deidara)

“I’m working on the 8 tails, since he has proved to be the strongest of the current JInchuriki, I will be taking care of it. Estimated time 1 month.” (Konan)

“9 tails is also within my grasp. I will bring it here along with the other 2 beasts tailed beasts.” (Sasori)

(you may have noticed that they are working seperately instead of groups of two.)

“Good job Sasori. Your job to trick Orochimaru worked well I see.” (Pain)

“Not really. I am beginning to suspect that he’ll betray me as soon as the destruction of the leaf village is done.” (Sasori)

“Then you must kill him before he has the chance.” (Pain)

“I already knew that. And besides, I always wanted to add a sage to my collection.” (Sasori)

“Hm! Black zetsu how’s your mission doing.” (Pain)

“Not good at all.” (Black Zetsu)

“What do you mean?” (Pain)

“That green thing is the problem. Everytime I try to spy on it, it immediately senses me and tries to kill me. I have tried this for 47 times, and every single time it manages to sense me, no matter how far the distance.” (Black zetsu)

“And I still haven’t eaten that thing.” (White Zetsu) complained

“Your hiding skills are supposed to be the best out of all of us, how is it that this thing is able to sense you every single time?!” (Pain) said in a but of a surprise.

“I have no idea. But I did manage to see this thing once in action. It was killing a lot of people in a far away village, and proved to steal their chakra, also has inhumane strength, and speed, super regeneration as well.

It is as dangerous as when Itachi told us about it. Do not confront that thing at all.” (Black Zetsu)

The others were shocked to hear this. It’s the first time Black Zetsu has said that about anyone.

“You heard him, don’t confront this thing at all.” (Pain) said to his other members.

“Yes!” (Everyone) responded.

“Is that everything.” (Kisame)

“Not quite!” (Tobi) appeared out of nowhere.

“Who are you?” (Deidara) asked a bit confused.

“My name is Tobi, and I am also a member of the Akatsuki.” (Tobi) said in a tone that everyone found annoying. He also showed them his ring, which proved to everyone that he was a member of thier group.

“?” (Akatsuki) members looked at their leader to see if it was true. They couldn’t believe that someone who behaves like a little kid is actually part of their organization.

“It’s true, he is a member.” (Pain)

Some people wanted to complain, but didn’t. They were afraid of questioning Pain’s methods.

“Now that I have your guys’s attention, allow me to fill in my report.” (Tobi)

“What did you find Tobi. anything that is worth our time.” (Pain)

“Why yes leader. I have found a group of several ninjas attacking me for quite some time. These guys are send by some guy named ‘Fan’ They refer to them selves as ‘Wolves of greed’ Great name if I do say so myself.” (Tobi)

“I don’t want to hear about some no-named group of ninjas, even if they have a cool name.” (Pain)

“Why dear leader, it seems you don’t understand. These guys that I mentioned actually have weird technology in their hands. Funny thing is that I have done some research on their technology, and some of these metals aren’t even known to us.” (Tobi)

“Hm! Continue.” (Pain) said a bit more interested in this subject.

“Yes! You see, these guys are chasing after me because of my eyes, I suspect that they have strong sensory type, if they have manage to find me every single damn time.” (Tobi)

“Then find there base, and kill them, simple.” (Pain)

“I thought of that as well, but I can’t seem to find them. I did capture some of tha attackers, to question them, but they die before they could spill the beans. I did a body check on them, and a seal is somehow able to kill them. What a bunch of party poopers.” (Tobi)

“Hm!” (Pain) was thinking.

“Can I ask for Black Zetsu to find a clue about them, since he is our best sensor type we have. PWEASY PWEAS LORD PAIN!” (Tobi) went down on his knees and kotowed a bunch of times.

Black Zetsu didn’t know what to respond, and looked at Pain for an answer.

“But first tell me about their technology.” (Pain) said.

“Ah yes! There technology is quite weird, they have these little golden balls that can deactivate any type of seal you have. In addition, they have these little things on their arms that shoot out mini gas explosions.” (Tobi)

“Mini gas explosions?” (Pain) said a bit confused.

“It’s easier if I showed you.” (Tobi)

Tobi then took out a small leather gauntlet. It has some weird metal attached to it, and some holes on the top of where the knuckles are.

“Look at this.” (Tobi) then pointed to Deidara’s image, and shot him. The small round ball passed through deidara, and behind him, a cloud of green gas appeared.

“Why did you shoot at me?!” (Deidara) said. Although he was in his hologram image, it didn’t do anything to him. But he just wondered why did he shoot him of all people.

“You look like a girl with that ponytail, that’s why I shot you, you crossdresser.” (Tobi)

“Leave my artistic hair behind.” (Deidara) said in rage. No one disses his hair like that.

“Enough!” (Pain) let out a huge amount of chakra burst from his body, which then made the green gas disappear completely.

“What was that just now Tobi!” (Pain)

“I believe they call it a glove, explosion thingy, I dunno. But, what the green thing does is that is makes you feel like a bunch of fire ants are eating away your body, from inside out.” (Tobi)

“Anything else!” (Pain)

“I don’t think so, but I believe that they have a bunch of more technology with them.” (Tobi)

“What makes you think that.” (Konan) spoke for Pain.

“Just yesterday, when a group of them attacked me, they said something about going back to their place for stronger weapons. I killed them before they had the chance.” (Tobi) said a bit more serious.

“Hm! If it’s true, then those weapons could help us greatly. Black Zetsu, your new orders are to find these ‘Greed wolves’” (Pain)

“Uh it’s wolves of greed, leader.” (Tobi)

“Yes Pain. It’s better than facing off that green thing.” (Black Zetsu) said as he sighed in relieve that he doesn't have to face off that green alien figure again.

“Aw! I’ll never get to eat that green thing.” (White Zetsu)

“Anything else that we should know about.” (Pain) asked his formal members.

No one responded.

“I shall call you back after the destruction of the leaf village. Dismissed!” (Pain)

Then all the other members disappeared from the room. The only ones left were Pain, Konan, Tobi, Black and White Zetsu.

“I need you to take me to where you fought these greedy wolves, I might be able to track them down easier if you showed me.” (Black Zetsu) said to Tobi.

“It’s not ‘greedy wolves’ it’s ‘wolves of greed’ But yeah sure i’ll take you there. Bye leader, and my beautiful blue haired angel.” (Tobi) said.

“Call me that again and i’ll snap your neck.” (Konan) said a bit furious.

“Let’s go!” (Tobi) left with Black Zetsu and white Zetsu.

As soon as they left, Pain fell down to his right knee, barely hitting the ground.

“Nagato! Are you okay.” (Konan) attented to Pain as quickly and effectively as she could.

“My body is getting weaker, it’s getting hard to keep controlling this body from far away.” (Pain) gritted his teeth in pain.

“You’re getting weaker. The statue is draining your chakra fast!” (Konan)

This Nagato was also linked with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path which left a number of black receivers embedded in his back and caused his body to become very emaciated, limiting his mobility. For this reason he spent most of his adult life in a mechanical walker from which he controlled the Six Paths of Pain

But the statue has been draining his energy from his body. It’s thanks to his Uzumaki lineage that he was able to live this long. But, it looks like his body is close to his limit already.

“At most I can live for 2 months, hopefully that Sasori accomplishes his mission by then.” (Pain)

“What if he fails, and you die. Why don’t I give a message to Sasori, to tell him to bring the 1st tailed beast right now.” (Konan)

“Don’t! I cannot let anyone know of my condition, if they knew, then they will retaliate. I have only managed to keep this team like this thanks to my rinnegan. They fear it, But if they knew that I am weak, then they will kill me.” (Pain)

“I see… Then what about Chris. You heard what Sasori said, he has a special healing Kekkai Genkai. If he could cure the year end life disease from Hina Hyuga, then he could possibly heal your condition.” (Konan)

“Perhaps! But who can I send to get them. Everybody else is busy, and they will get very suspicous if I were to send them to fetch the kid.” (Pain)

“Then i’ll go.” (Konan)

“No! Your job is to get the 8 tails, before he gets stronger. Now that they have allied with Gato, things will be a bit harder for us.” (Pain)

“But-” (Konan)

“THAT’S AN ORDER KONAN!” (Pain) interupted Konan by yelling at her.

“...Yes Nagato. Forgive me.” (Konan) said not daring to look him in the eye.

“Good. Dismissed!” (Pain) said and then Konan left.

Konan cared a lot for Pain, he was her only friend that she could rely on. It was about 2 years since he was being weakened, now he is probably on par with JIraiya or even Tsunade.

He used to be stronger than them, since he easily killed Hanzo by himself. But now he is very weak.

The statue is not to fully blame for Pain's weakened state, it is actually Isabella Nocturne’s fault for his weakened state. They had a fight 2 years ago, which Pain lost.

Pain has never lost a battle before Isabella appeared. This is why Isabella is considered to be the strongest Sage.

It was no secret who Pain actually was, even Jiraiya knew of his Identity. Isabella shared all the information she recieved with the leaf village, afterwards the information of Pain was everywhere in the elemental nations.

Even his feats like killing Hanzo, and such, were shared throughout the world. This is why she is known to be the strongest sage. Jiraiya has never once visited Pain, because Isabella has warned him to never confront him at all. Or one of them would die.

Jiraiya took this message by heart, and never visited him, even if he really wanted to.

Konan hated Isabella with all her heart, she swore to kill her if she had the chance, but she was not a fool to confront someone who easily defeated Pain. She then decided to continue her mission to get the 8 tailed beast.

She was pondering wether to kidnap Chris, to cure Pain of his illness. Even if she might be hated by Pain forever, she didn’t care as long as he lived.

She was gonna put a lot of thought into this, and secretly form her own mission, to heal Pain no matter the cost.

(Damn how strong is this Isabella chick to fight Pain and win easily. She is a huge mystery.)

BACK IN KONOHA

It was getting very boring out here. Luna kicked me out now I am all alone in this hallway. I could hear what they were talking about, Sasuke asked how she was doing and such, which she said that she was fine.

Sasuke wasn’t good at keeping a conversation going, so the conversation didn’t last long until he left. He was gonna practice or something, but he was still gonna keep an eye on his sister.

Afterwards Kat went to keep Luna company, by having one of their girl talks with no boys in the room. I didn’t want to hear what they were talking about, so I moved a bit far from the room she was in.

I remember when my sister had her friends over to our house, it was basically hell on Earth for me.

I took out the summoning scroll from my space thingy. I examined it very carefully, I was thinking of how this thing worked, and if it was a strong summoning jutsu. I remember how the toads taught Jiraiya and Naruto the sage art, maybe these birds might know something like that.

I was gonna continue examining it, until a ninja with clear eyes, walked up to me and said.

“Chris. Sorry to disturb you but I have a message from Hiashi Hyuga.” (Yu)

(Read chapter 17 if you forgot who Yu was.)

“Oh you’re the guy I saw before... what was the message.” (Chris)

“He said that he is inviting you to live in the Hyuga palace. He said you must accept because it is safer in there, than in your apartment, he is also inviting Luna Uchiha to live with them.” (Yu)

Ah I see what was going on here. But should I accept… I don’t see why not.

“Sure. But when do I have to move out.” (Chris)

“As soon as you want. Please tell Luna Uchiha that she doesn’t need to worry about packing, since right now there are ninjas right now at her place that are bringing her stuff over to the Hyuga place.” (Yu)

“...okay sure, thank you Yu.” (Chris)

“I can’t believe you remembered my name.” (Yu) said a bit happy

Hiashi mentioned his name once, it was a simple name to remember.

He then left the hospital, and I made my way into Luna’s room. I will finish examining the summoning scroll later, but right now, this was more important.

You never know if Orochimaru will attack you right now, so going to the Hyuga palace right now is important.

I opened the door, but I was met with a pillow to the face.

*Oomph*

Luna threw it at me very hard, the pillow didn’t hurt me at all.

“Was that necessary Luna…” (Chris)

“It’s payback for making me blush.” (Luna) said a bit angrily, but her face was still red.

“Aye Chris we were just talking about you. Tell me, if you two got married, what would you want, a boy or a girl.” (Kat) said to tease us both.

Luna and my face blushed, but I still responded.

“It doesn’t matter as long as he or she is healthy.” (Chris)

“What a lame answer.” (Kat)

Luna smiled a bit, but was still too embarrased to see me. Her mood calmed down thanks to Kat clearing up a misunderstanding, she now knew that I wanted to wait for us to get older, until we start a family.

Personally, I don’t know why my relationship with Luna is progressing so fast, but I like it.

“Sorry to say this all of a sudden, but Luna, we’re moving.” (Chris)

“What do you mean?” (Kat) said a bit confused, even Luna was a bit confused as well.

“Well the council thought that after your incident, it’s possible for Orochimaru to attack us, so we’re moving to the Hyuga place for better protection.” (Chris)

“Orochimaru is still alive.” (Kat) said as a bit of shock and anger could be heard from her voice.

“They believe so.” (Chris)

“But what about Kat, she isn’t safe.” (Luna) said, caring for the safety of her friend.

“Kat’s identity is safe, for now. But Luna has a good point Kat, under no cirumstances, must you face Orochimaru at all.” (Chris)

“He must pay for what he did to me and my family.” (Kat)

“Kat!” (Chris) I held her arm where her tracking seal was, and quickly added the teleportation seal once more. Just incase if she does plan to face off Orochimaru.

“Promise me that you will never face him, please!” (Chris)

“...fine!” (Kat) said that, but her mind was fixated on revenge.

“Okay I trust you. Let’s go Luna.” (Chris) said as I took her hand. Right now Kat needs some alone time to think about it, and if she does indeed try to find Orochimaru, then i’ll bring her back by force if I need to.

I used my sensing skills which covered the whole leaf village, and no signs of Orochimaru’s chakra anywhere. He must be slowly healing somewhere in one of his secret bases.

“Wait Chris! You know that Kat is gonna go for revenge, we must do something to stop her.” (Luna) tried to convince me to help Kat.

“How do you that?” (Chris)

“Because I can tell from her eyes, because I also had those eyes when I wanted to kill Danzo.” (Luna)

She doesn’t want her friend to experience the same thing as her, so she tried to stop her from the catastrophy she could put herself in.

“Luna. I also knew that as well, but don’t worry and trust me that she will be safe.” (Chris)

“But we need to be there for her.” (Luna)

“Luna. I have also been in her shoes before, and right now, she needs to be alone to think things through.” (Chris)

Back in my other life, I was bullied a lot. Then a bunch of rage started accumulating inside me, and I wanted to kill those scumbags.

I fought against one of them, and me and him both got in serious trouble, especially him. After that I learned to see the bigger picture, and knew that some things weren’t meant to be solved by using violence.

I just hope that Kat thinks the same way I do.

Luna now knew the reason why I left Kat alone, then she didn’t say anything, but you could clearly see that she was worried for her friend.

She doesn’t need to worry, because i’ll protect her too, as well as everybody else. I already lived one miserable life, and I don’t plan to make this one miserable as well.
