3 days until the chuunin exams

I was gonna keep practicing but Naruto was mentally exhausted because of the practice, yesterday we practiced to control the 9 tails power, but in the end Naruto was too mentally exhausted, I estimate he won’t wake up for the whole day.

He really did practice hard yesterday, so i’m gonna give him the day off, and so was I. Yesterday blue screen told me that i’ve been too focused on practicing so I decided to take the whole day off as well.

I wish Luna was here with me and we could have hanged out, ‘sigh’ I miss her a lot. I wonder how she’s doing right now.

But I have one little problem, what the hell am I suppose to do, I can’t think of anything fun to do by my self. I think I need more friends to hang out with.

It feels so weird when i’m not practicing, now I know how Goku feels when he’s not practicing. I feel very light today because i’m not wearing my weighted clothes, which weight like 1000kg by the way.

I turned around to the source of the noise, it was Guy and his team, Neji not included.

“I don’t see why not, it must be interesting to train with you guys.” (Chris) I did say no to training today, but I will not miss my chance to be with my idols.

“Hehehe! Sorry about that Chris.” (TenTen) was embarrased that I had to witness their unnatural behaviour, but she was happy that I said yes to training with them.

“It’s alright, they look pretty fun to be around” (Chris)

“Well let’s go, otherwise we’ll be left behind” (TenTen) Started running and so did I.

200 boring laps later

We finished the 200 laps, since I wasn’t wearing my weighted clothes it was a breeze, I did say I was gonna take it easy. TenTen however was gasping for air, I gave her a bottle of cold water that she happily accepted.

Only Lee and Guy weren’t affected by this training at all, just how much energy do they have.

“WELL THAT’S ENOUGH OF A WARMUP, NOW WE RUN AROUND THE LEAF VILLAGE AGAIN BUT THIS TIME WITH OUR HANDS ONLY!” (Guy)

Guy turned around and was surprised to see that I was fine, he thought that I would be tired like TenTen but I was as cool as when I first started.

What I said is true, I have never fought with anyone with a high level of taijutsu so I never had a good idea just how high my taijutsu level is.

“Can I change my clothes first, I don’t wanna ruin them?” (Chris) I just wanted to wear my weighted clothes, since Lee also has ankle weights, I thought it would be fair if I fought him with weights as well.

“Sure.” (Guy) said

I took out my heavy shoes, arm bands, and my shirt and I wore them.

“Alright i’m ready.” (Chris) said while cracking my knuckles.

“Alright LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!” (Guy)

As soon as Guy said that, Lee charged straight at me, he gave me a series of punches and kicks. He’s really fast even with his heavy ankle weights, not only that but his punches are really strong as well.

The bad thing about Lee is that he is way too predictable, to some people he is a Genuis, but I can predict his next moves and strike him.

I then grabbed his arm and launched him over my shoulder.

“Ah! Oof1” (Lee) said.

‘He managed to counter Lee like that, and here I thought Lee was really strong but Chris just threw him like it was nothing’ thought Guy

‘I expected this much from someone who defeated Zabuza, but why isn’t he using a sword to fight, his mastery of Kenjutsu must be strong as well.’ TenTen thought, she wasn’t as surprised as Guy

“You okay Lee?" (Chris)

“Yes, but our battle isn’t over yet.” (Lee) got up and again send another on kicks and punches towards me, he is very good but it’s my turn to fight back.

I dodged another incoming punch and send my left foot on Lee’s waist, Lee dodged it but I used my other leg and send another kick to his face, it barely managed to hit Lee’s face. He ducked and raised his right arm towards me.

As is i’ll let that happen, I grabbed his arm and threw my other fist towards his face, I didn’t hit him because he used his other hand to grab my hand. My face was close to his, we were trying to escape from each other’s grasps but couldn’t.

His strength is really high levelled, I used my forehead and to hit his face, I reinforced my forehead into metal so it would hurt Lee more than a normal header. Lee didn’t expect this and his nose was all bloody.

Lee out of a small scream of pain and grabbed his nose which was bleeding, I think I used too much force on my header.

“You alright Lee?” (Guy)

“Yes Guy sensei, it was my fault for not expecting that attack.” (Lee)

“Hm! Lee why don’t you come at me at full strength.” (Chris) I didn’t care for his wound, because in the middle of a battle the enemy wouldn’t care if your nose was broken or not.

“What do you mean?” (Lee)

“I noticed you have very heavy ankle weights, they are clearly slowing you down, it would be much more interesting if you removed them and fought me head on." (Chris)

“Ah! Much better, now I can move freely.” (Lee)

He then dropped them and the ground made a loud sound, Lee’s weights must be heavier than mine which are only 1000kg, now that Lee has his weights removed things will be much more interesting.“Let’s start!" (Chris)

I then charged at Lee, I wasn’t gonna give him the chance to attack first, but as soon as I got to Lee’s position he dissapeared, or more like I didn’t see him move at all.

Boom! I felt my stomach got kicked by a powerful force, I was sent back several feet back and landed firmly on the ground with both of my feet, this is getting very intersting. I even smiled from this awesome experience.

“I’m over here, no over here, come catch me” (Lee) was running around me in circles, I could only see his after images because of the super fast speed he’s going.

So this is what it takes to become a powerful taijutsu ninja, I summoned all the strength on my hand and hit the ground, I may not keep up with Lee’s speed but I can still trip him. When I hit the ground Lee tripped and fell on a crack that I made.

He didn’t expect my strength to be this high and he fell, but he got back up and threw several shuriken and kunai directly at me, I can still feel him with my master of sensing skill and I felt the objects aiming for me.

I was also reading his mind, I wasn’t gonna underestimate Lee anymore and used my sword to deflect the objects, Lee took this time to his advantage and sneaked up beside me.

“PRIMARY LOTUS” (Lee) shouted, it’s a powerful taijutsu move that Lee uses a lot in the anime, I knew about this move and dodged the incoming attack, I used my huge chakra pool and released it from my body causing Lee to bounce back several feet away.

I turned around to him and said.

“Lee, without a doubt you are very strong and fast, this is the most interesting fight I had since I came here” (Chris) The conflict with Itachi and Kizame doesn’t count since it was basically a one sided fight.

“It’s great to hear that Chris, to be honest this is also the best fight I had ever been in.” (Lee) while also smiling at this awesome battle we were in.

‘Hm, I didn’t expect Chris to be this strong as well, he can even stand up to Lee without his weights. Chris’s speed may not be on par with Lee’s but his strength is overwhelming, and I don’t think he has used his full strength. Surely he must have several powerful jutsus up his sleeve.’ Guy thought

‘No wonder he could even take the Kubikiribocho from Zabuza, he is very strong, I must find a way for him to out with me, and I must act fast or someone else might notice his good sides and take him away.’ TenTen thought and blushed a bit.

“How did you know that!” (Chris) Looks like Lee isn’t as dull as I thought, he actually learned something from me during our fight.

“When I kicked you earlier I felt you were a bit heavier than you should be, so I thought you also have weighted clothes on you, not only that but you must also know several strong ninjutsus as well but you haven’t used any during all this time.” (Lee)

I smiled, he was right, I haven’t gotten serious. But maybe it was about time I got serious. If I don’t it’ll be like telling him I don’t think you’re strong enough.

I took off my weighted clothes, even though I just put them on, I took off my shoes and now I was barefoot, I even took off my shirt, it was messed up from Lee’s kick earlier, but maybe it was a bad idea since TenTen was drooling a bit from seeing my bare skin.

“Ah much better, come Lee, this time let's get serious.” (Chris) I said as I took on a defensive stance, my body was lighter and held I onto my sword

‘’Finally, I can also go all out. FIRST GATE, GATE OF OPENING, OPEN!” (Lee) said and I could feel an enormous amount of power erupt inside him. I wish I could learn the 8 gates but that’s not my style at all. It’s very powerful i’ll admit it but I know how much of a huge toll it takes on the human body.

I thought Lee would come at mee after opening the first gate, but he didn’t, he instead opened the other gates.

“THIRD GATE, GATE OF LIFE, OPEN!” (Lee) said and even more power came out of his body. I think it could be compared to the two tails of Kurama, I still remember when I fought Naruto in his 2 tails form

Lee charged straight at me even quicker than before, thank god I removed the weighted clothes before and barely managed to avoid that attack. My right cheek was lightly scratched, if Lee had managed to land a hit on me things would me much more dangerous for me.

Lee with his new power reacted quick and charged at me again, I used my mind reading skill and also barely managed to avoid that attack. I can’t keep up with his moves at all, if it weren’t for the mind reading skill I would never have avoided those attacks.

“SHADOW CLONE JUTSU” (Chris) I summoned up 1000 clones to stop Lee, I remember in the anime that the 8 gates will drain Lee’s stamina like crazy. I don’t need to fight him, I just need to wait until his stamina runs out.

But I think I gave Lee too little credit and he charged straight for my shadow clones, at least 100 were already gone. They didn’t even had the time to reacy to Lee’s quick movements.

200 clones were gone, then 300, 400, 600,900, and soon all of them were gone. It hasn’t been 10 seconds and he already killed all of my shadow clones. He charged at me again but this time I used my freeze time technique and stopped him in his tracks.

I used my sword to cut his feet, I won’t kill him since I will need his strength for the future. And I also applied a gravity seal on his body, hopefully this will reduce his speed by a lot. I can easily beat him in strength, but there is no way I can beat him when it comes in speed.

10 seconds were up and Lee was a mess, the nerves to his legs were cut and he couldn’t get up due to the gravity seal. If this was a taijutsu only competition then I would have lost for sure, but in a battle the enemy will use every ability they have in them to beat their opponent.

At this moment Lee’s 8 gates of power dissapeared and he was back to normal.

“Lee!” (Guy) ran straight to Lee and held him.

“it-It’s alright Guy sensei, I can’t feel my legs and my body is really heavy for some reason. But it was a good battle.” (Lee)

Lee... why does it sound like you’re gonna die. Which you’re not may I add.

“Lee *sob* don’t leave me. Please don’t leave me!” (Guy) was crying anime tears.

HE’S NOT GONNA DIE ALRIGHT, SO STOP WITH THE DRAMA QUEEN ACT.

“*sigh* they do this every time” (TenTen) said, but she was amazed at Lee’s performance and mine as well. She thought that not even Neii could stand up to Lee’s power.

“It’s alright Guy sensei, this is the best battle i’ve ever had. Thank you Chris.” (Lee) shut his eyes like he was about to die

“Lee *Sniff* don’t leave me, please don’t do this I beg you. TAKE ME! TAKE ME! INSTEAD!!!” (Guy) kept crying anime tears.

I decided not to say anything and touched Lee’s chest, I healed him and he was back to full health. Then a surprised look appeared on both of their faces.

“You-you healed me, how?” (Lee) asked me in shock.

“These kind of wounds aren’t really serious for me, and it was also my fault you got this hurt. But I couldn’t think of another way to beat you you’re just too fast and strong for me.” (Chris)

“But Chris, with Lee’s injuries he would have been bedridden for at least a month to fully recover, but you just healed him in a seconds.” (Guy)

I shrugged my shoulders and said “I’m just that good” (Chris) I smiled as well, damn it feels good to show off to your idols. Speaking of healing why didn’t I heal Neji when Hinata beat the crap out of him, guess I forgot.

After the fight with Lee, we did even more training, we did what Guy said earlier and ran around the leaf village with our hands only. It was a different expeirence for me but for TenTen it was hell on earth.

It was getting pretty late and Guy told us to take the day off since the Chuunin exams were gonna start in 3 days and we all had to be at 100%. Of course that didn’t stop Lee from doing sit-ups until he has done 1000 of them.

Speaking of the Chuunin exams where is Kat, I haven’t seen her since we got back from the land of waves. And still no signs of Dom anywhere, for the Chuunin exams we need our sensei with us. Otherwise we won’t be allowed to participate.

I just hope that Dom is still alive, he must be lost or something because a tough person like him wouldn’t die so easily, I think...
