I think the pill is wearing off. I felt a tingle. Yep, I can make force fields. Teeny-tiny useless little force fields. My power detector still isn't working. Right now it shows seventeen but there's just Motoplasm, The Force, Harmony, Glen, Malon, Alice, Shade, Morgan, Sonny and Carmen here.
And C2 of course.
She still hasn't talked to me.
She won't even look at me.
I know I should be worried about Mum and Dad and EVERYTHING and I am, but
...
Something happened in the city. Some kind of force field dome went up, glowing blue, then it disappeared again. We don't know what's going on out there. A lot of the lights are gone, big patches of darkness in the endless city. Nothing from Mum and Dad or anyone. Motoplasm even lost contact with Chass, he looked really worried when he realised. He said he can transmit but not receive. Anything could be happening out there. The city could already be under supervillain control. Everyone could be dead. Mum, Dad, everyone.
And I'm stuck here. Looking out a window. Being useless and feeling sick and tingling. That's my most hated part of this power-allergy or whatever it is, the tingling that keeps creeping over me, it's awful, it's like a giant spider or something is crawling on my body. The nausea's not fun and the headache is irritating and this new constantly-feeling-like-I-need-to-sneeze is NOT my idea of a good time, but the tingling beats all of them for sheer creepy horribleness.
Another force field dome. This one's staying up. What's HAPPENING out there? I just want to go out and help, to do SOMETHING
...
The force field just disappeared and a bunch more lights went out. I wish we could see Galaxy Tower from here, but there are too many buildings in the way.

...
Morgan just snarked at Sonny again. Sonny was talking about wanting to go and help. Morgan's response?
"What are you going to do, make crappy little sculptures at them?"
Harmony controlled the situation, it's good that she's here. The Force and Motoplasm too, and all the security robots down below. The Force is putting up practice barriers around the room—I think it must be easier for him to put up a force field if he already knows where it should go. He's putting one in front of the elevator doors now, then making it disappear, then putting it up again, over and over. It makes me feel safe, watching him. He did the windows before, too, and the stairs, even the corridors leading to the private rooms and bathroom on this floor. Motoplasm's doing something too, but I'm not sure what. He's moving around, then stopping like he's trying to figure something out ... maybe getting a feel for the room in case there's a fight? But nobody knows we're here. They SHOULD have gone, The Force especially, he's so useful in so many situations ... but I guess when you get right down to it, superheroes are protectors. Mum and Dad and the others wanted us safe more than anything else. But if that means that they're not as safe as they could be...
Ugh. Starting to feel bad again. Probably I should get away from the others. Or take another pill. Yuck. Motoplasm has them, I think. I'd have to ask for one. I don't want to ask for one. I hate taking them, it's so wrong to get rid of my power, even if it's making me sick.
...
Great, Morgan's going off at Sonny again. Just leave him alone, I really don't feel like saying anything ... but Harmony's gone to the bathroom and Glen and Malon are useless and C2's off somewhere and even if she WAS here she wouldn't say anything, and Shade's hitting on Carmen who clearly doesn't appreciate the attention oh great it IS me isn't it. Back soon.
