Argh so false alarm, Daniel was just getting excited over one of his simulations doing something unexpected. No, sorry, because it did something expected. He got all excited because his simulation did exactly what he thought it would.
I may never truly understand my brother.
"Did you turn the LUS on?" Daniel asks me.
"Yes, it's recording now. C2, are you turning yours on, too?"
"Do you think I should?"
"It couldn't hurt," Daniel says. He's smiling at C2. "It'll help with my debug stuff, too, there was some weirdness when Charlotte rezzed last time, I think I got rid of the glitch that was causing that but it's always good to have multiple sources of debug data. By the way, C2, you might notice some weird stuff with the LUS at first, I know we went through calibration together but even so—basically, the more you use it the better it'll get, you remember our discussion about the feedback cycle. I've actually made a few changes since then, the processing time in particular is a lot quicker now—not that you'll notice that. Well, hopefully not, if you notice it then that means there's a problem, haha. Um, right now there's a three second buffer to get around a couple of messy parsing issues, which incidentally helps make the 'style' of the entries smoother. It's kind of brute force but the way it works turned out to be pretty elegant, if I say so myself. Actually, maybe I should just keep that ... well, I'll check the reports and make a call later."
Now Daniel's fiddling again, how long does it take to set up a stupid teleporter anyway? HOURS it seems.
"Now," Daniel says, "I'm aiming pretty high because I don't want you two to rez into anything solid, so you should go out-of-phase for your entry, Curls."

"What about C2? She can't go out-of-phase!"
"Ah, I've anticipated your concerns and have prepared an excellent buffer that should ensure C2 comes to no harm."
Pillows. He's got pillows and he's duct-taping them around C2. She doesn't seem NEARLY concerned enough about this.
"C2, you don't seem NEARLY concerned enough about this!"
"I trust Daniel."
So do I, but that doesn't mean I'd let him teleport me somewhere with only a couple of pillows for protection.
"There," Daniel says, after checking the pillows. C2 looks kind of funny. "That should do it. You both ready?"
"I've been ready for HOURS."
"I am ready, Daniel."
Daniel grins. "So what are we waiting for? Let's get you to Powerstone. I'll be in contact with you through your Opals, I predict a four to nine second delay in audio due to all the routing I'd have to do to get a voice channel open, so let's just stick to text, okay?"
"Okay, whatever, send us, sendREPRESENTS OUR BEST CHANCE OF SUCCESS WHICH IS WHY WE CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING MORE THAN

World of Telduria
The world of Telduria is filled with dangers and opportunities. The world is made up of numerous factions, kingdoms and alliances. Most of the time there is relative peace but every now and then wars and skirmishes breaks out. There is a council of nations which tried to mediate peace between the nations. Each nation is represented along with the guilds which span the world. The guilds have an invested interest in keeping the peace due to how they work across the borders. The different nations make up half of the council while the guilds make up the second half. The balance in the world is on a life's edge. A powder keg waiting to blow, but no one dares to make the first move. After the formation of the adventures guild and the mercenary guild most nations dissolved their militarises and instead the army is more of a policing force than an offensive one while the guilds hunt down dangerous creatures and monsters that appears in the world. The nations have changed their ways from war to one of assassination, espionage, economics and diplomacy. World leaders don't tend to survive very long if they don't have guards with them at all times. While officially there is no assassin's guild or thieves guild they do sure exist and are thriving like never before in the current political climate. That and the other guilds don't stop them since they also hire their services from time to time. The various temples and religions have no official power part from some nations which are based around a belief. In actuality though they have considerable powers since they control the masses just as well as the rulers themselves. Get on their bad side and you might just find an assassin coming for you. A young woman gets thrown into this grimdark world from our own. Will she survive the curveball that gets thrown in her face as she changes into something else? Map created by Maximeplasse This fiction is based on my play-per-post RP that I've run before but with my own take on summoned characters and dungeon settings. At certain points I'll also allow reader decisions if the story gets popular enough. xD It's unrelated to the D&D Theron setting; Telduria I just liked the name and the map when I started up the RP back in the day.

8 178Stoned is Angel's Grace
People believe in what they can see. They believe that all Weeping Angels are bad and they just want more years lost to feed from. Well you are correct, except there is one exception. Because Weeping Angels can think and feel. You see, I'll go back to the original statement. People believe in what they can see. They see Weeping Angels as aliens, but they're not. While they are from another dimension, they're not an alien life form. But instead they are a Heavenly one. A celestial being wrapped in stone. They are the very divine power of God who had been struck down and their Grace turned to stone in order to preserve itself. The thing is, Sam has to figure this out on his own. Or will he have help from a certain Trickster?
