Summary of the First Volume of Heroic Chronicles: A Hero Arises

“For as long as the sun rises, we shall not falter and there shall be peace for all!”

That was the ethos that I lived by throughout my whole life. But I never thought of dying like this.

As the tail of the beast pierce through my body, I could feel that my body lose all its strength. And my life force seemed to be suck of its existence. A painless death nonetheless, a regretful one.

Was it the end for me?

As I looked towards to the two girls in front of me, I could not help but to apologize to them.

“I’m sorry…”

That was the only word I could manage to muster before I finally succumbed. Or so I thought.

However, fate has another plan for me it seemed. When I woke up, things began to unfold at an amazing speed. From one adventure to another, I finally reached the peak and pinnacle of my youth. Facing the crowds of more than half a million people, I'm now kneeling.

As the sword tapped on my shoulder, the regal face of the girl whom I saved back then, beamed with happiness and joy. With a beauty that could rival a goddess, I heard her voice,

“Arise, my hero”
