Village Hall Conference Council
Fourth Floor Living Room
The representatives of each district had gathered in the living room, second to the conference room, whilst waited for their leader’s command. Rafel folded his arms and tilted his head, thinking desperately about their current status.
“Just how long will the Chief keeps his mourn. Our men need our help right now. Can we just start the meeting by ourselves?” Rafel asked.
“Now, now, now, we don’t need to be so pushy. We need his wisdom and leadership. A fire won’t ignite without an oil though. We need our chief because he is our only hope for this crisis.” Elder Saro explained but Rafel clicked his tongue in displeased.
He clicked his tongue and disappointed at his answer. He then moved closer to him and faced him straightforwardly. He took a deep breath and began his argument.
“What do you want us to do? Stand here while waiting for his tears to go empty. Hello~, Elder Saro, don’t you hear the blast and gun fires in that direction.” he pointed his finger to the site of the battlefield. “How can we still so relax when the enemies are breaching our own gate right now.”
Ylla intrigued and said, “Then why don’t you go there and command your those men, huh. Y’know I’m sick in your words using against our chief. I don’t want to hear any complaints related to him.” she began to cast.
She wanted to stop from getting mad to their elder. She totally agreed to his argument and his point of view in the situation. However, seeing his short-tempered and boorish manner towards them, she couldn’t let him do what he pleased. Ylla respected the elders for their greatness and nobility since she was a child and didn’t like to see anyone to vulgar and impolite especially from Elder Damaso: the person she really respected since then.
“Oooh, you little bitch. You wanna fight with me now. Well then, I hope you have insurance to the place once we start our battle.”

“Hey, hey, hey, didn’t we just agreed not to fight, right? Elders, please do something.” Daliah asked, begging for the two representatives to calm down.
“Enough, you fools. Reserve your strengths and don’t start a big mess inside this building. There are a lot of people down here. Do you want to cause a big incident that may do harm to our people? Think before you act.” Elder Wamo explained, making the two to regret their childish actions. He knew if this argument continues, there would be added in the crisis they’re facing right now. It was not the right time to face each other while the enemies slaying their men to defend their village.
“We’re sorry,” they lowered their heads and apologized in unison. After that, Rafel clicked his tongue and turned around from them. He grasped his hands so tight that almost made his hand turned red from the strong grip.
“Now, how can we face them without strategy from the leader right now? Our chief was grieving from something. He is not in himself right now. How can we fight the invaders that are almost breaking through our gate in District 4? Explain it to me.” Elder Kilo asked, rubbing his beard while thinking about the current crisis they were facing.
“Do we have any information regarding the numbers and identities of our enemies?” Elder Saro spoke. Rafel knew he had no information nor any intel from the enemies background. He clicked his tongue once again and listened to his explanation. “Regardless to our Chief’s condition, we must find another way to make our own decision right now. We don’t how long will our guards protect the gate. We -”
“- We must act right now. Like I said before, we need to decide right now before they have done it.” He got even more irritated when he heard the words ‘wait’ and ‘another way to solve this’. He didn’t like those phrase in his ears because it was a waste of time to wait without taking action. If they wanted to protect the village, they must make their own decision before it’s too late. It was the statement he wanted to tell to them but they were really attached and followed the rules of waiting for the orders of their leader.

“Please listen to me firs-”
“For how long we will wait? How much time we will waste? Ten, hundreds or thousand seconds before our chief faced the crisis we’re facing? C’mon, this is ridiculous. All of you are all fools!”
“C’ mon, do you still can fight those people we don’t even know their true agenda and reason for invading our village? We need information who are those people trying to invade our place and made our Chief in that kind of stupid condition.” Richarde said.
“Hey, what the fuck want you to point then, huh? You’re just a nothing more a rich kid. You don’t even know how to write your own name though. I'm surprised you became a representative in this council.”
“Hmm… you may say I have a lot of influence in this village, comrade. My family has a lot of friendly ties in other organization especially the Godfather. My father and he were great friends.”
“Yeah, friends with benefits.”
“Huh? Do you want me to show my true power, huh?”
“Then -”
In one clap, Rafel had been forcefully dropped in the floor. Ylla felt the pressure and the power released by their elder. She stepped back and leaned her back against the wall.
“What the fuck?” he was struggling to stand up but the pressure made him weakened.
“Rafel, stop making fun with your colleagues and co-workers in this village. Don’t point your anger to others.”
“The fuck? Stupid geezer, I’m kind of tired and sickening in your way of life. Chief Zamor has no longer the will and power to lead us in this crisis. We must act now before it’s too late. The enemies are out there and killing our men one by one.”
“Then stop pointing your stupid action with your colleagues.” Ylla angrily said.
“Huh? Do you want me -”
“I said stop!” Elder Saro deepened his magic against him.
“Aaaargh.”
Elder Wamo patted his brother’s shoulder and begged him to let Rafel to be spare. “He is just a kid, brother. We don’t need to punish him. He is right in his own words. He is telling the truth. We must act now.”
“Brother,” he spared Rafel and he coughed twice. Inhaled.
“T-Thank you, Elder Wamo.”
“Now boy, remember this day. You must not commit anything foolish act desperately. Without a leader, we won’t succeed in this crisis. If you move without the proper guidance and well-planned strategy, there’s a big chance you’ll die.” Elder Wamo explained, asking him to settle down.
“I won’t submit. I’m going to fight those bastards. If you guys want to stay here while waiting for our leader’s mind to return back to normal then I’ll be damn. I’m going to defend this village by myself. If you don’t have anything to say. I’ll excuse myself and leave this place alone.” Rafel exited, showing a decisive and serious reproach towards his colleagues.
Ylla tapped her forehead, “Aay yay yay. Nothing beats a moron anyway. Let him be, elders. He will regret what he did. Just let him do what he pleased.” She sat on the sofa in a cross-legged position. She tilted her head and closed her eyes. Inside her mind, she wanted to follow Rafel but she knew she had no other option yet. Following the law was a must. She knew that.
Elder Kilo sighed and tapped his brother’s shoulder to let the kid do what he wants.
