“I'm set, so let's go!” cheering myself while standing up and patting my shorts clean from dirt.

I opened my Map and started following where the arrow is pointing. I threaded through the thick forest while being cautious of my surroundings.

Then I spotted another rabbit that was eating some fruits from the bushes. I slowly approach it and when I was close enough to get a good shot, I hid behind the tree. Luckily, it didn't noticed me since it was busy eating.

I held my gun with both hands and pointed it at the rabbit and made sure I won't miss by aiming at its head properly. I patiently waited until it paused while chewing the fruits and then shot at it.

I didn't miss! I'm getting a hang of this now. I might be a natural when it comes to using guns... which is a scary thought.

*DING* It looks like I leveled up again.

I went over to where the rabbit died and I picked up the drops. It looks similar to the first one but there seems to be an extra one here. It looks like a chunk of meat.

“Cool~ I might be able to use it for cooking later. ”

I went and put them all in the [IS] and moved on. I encountered quite a few more of those rabbits and pretty much kill them all stealthily. It works, so I'm gonna keep doing it. I leveled up a few times as well and still saving my stat points for later use.

I've been walking for quite some time now and it's getting hotter and hotter the closer it gets to noon. I took some time to rest at a nearby tree. I also took off my hoodie and drank some water to replenish my liquids. After a 10 minute break, I started walking again.

From a distance, I can make out a shape of a huge boar probably around 3 feet tall with thick crimson tusk. This might be trouble, if it charges at me. I slowly walked closer and when I finally got a decent view, I decided to climb up a tree. I'm gonna try shooting it from here. If it charges, then at least I'm off the ground so it won't easily get me.

Sitting on a branch, I aim at its body since I couldn't get a clear view of the head from my angle. I pulled the trigger and shot at it. It flinched and squeals as it winces from pain. It didn't die, so it darted towards my direction and I panicked...

I kept shooting while it was coming straight for me. I think I might've hit it a few times since it made a few grunting noises and squeals when I was shooting at it. Still heading towards me at a great speed and then *BAM*. It shook the tree violently and quite a bit of leaves fell as well. I hugged the tree to keep myself from falling.

“Damn boar!!! Die already!!!” I started shooting at it again non-stop while its tusks have gotten stuck in the tree after it collided with it. I kept pulling my trigger until I heard a high pitch squeal before it started glowing and disappeared leaving a few drops. I let out a big sigh of relief while still have one of my arm wrapped around the tree.

“Wohooo!!! I leveled up 3 times!!! Take that stupid boar~ hahahah!” I celebrated right after I leveled up.

I climb down and when my feet reached the ground, I noticed that I'm shaking. I involuntarily sat down on the spot while letting out a long sigh.

I would've died if something went wrong there. There is a saying that if you die in a dream, that you would die in real life. I don't really believe in superstitions but I'm not really one to try my luck either so if possible I'd like to stay alive until I wake up. I really hope this is just a bad dream. It feels pretty realistic though.

“Lucid dream perhaps? I've been reading a lot of light novels lately with this type of setting. Might be the reason why I'm having this dream.” I said to myself.

Anyways, that boar was dangerous. I sighed again. I try to calm myself down through breathing and I finally stopped shaking.

I looked over to see the drops and it looks like it dropped a bigger gem than the rabbit's. It also dropped the crimson tusks, some coins and a huge chunk of boar meat. I put them all again in my [IS].

I sat down for a bit to take rest again. I felt hungry so I checked the time, it looks like it's already past 1pm. I should eat something. I decided to try one of the food in the [IS].

“Let's see here... I need something filling and easy to eat.”

While browsing the long list of stuff, I finally found something I like, Teriyaki Beef Rice Bowl. I pulled it out and took a fork and started eating it. It's still hot and it's pretty tasty too.

“It's nice to have a warm meal in this kind of situation.” I muttered.

I also decided to drink Gatorade since this trekking is pretty hard on me. I've never done this much walking in my life! After I'm done eating, I put all the garbage back in the [IS]. I don't like littering so I'll dispose of them later.

“Now, before I go. I want to check my stats again... Status Open”

“Wow~ Level 8 already! That's awesome! 3 levels just from that boar. It was nasty but it was worth it! It's probably a higher level monster since it took me a bit to kill, where I can kill the rabbit in 1 shot when I shoot it in the head.” I said while being amaze at how easy it is to level right now.

I then decided to check the map to look at my current location. As I looked closely, I noticed that I'm not that far to what looks like a road! I might be able to make it there in one or two hours. I can finally leave this forest and I might be able to hitch a ride somewhere if I'm lucky enough.

I started walking again and on the way, I met a couple more rabbits. It took me another 2 hours before I can finally see pass the trees. It looks like a meadow.

After reaching the opening, I saw this vast green meadow with flowers and occasional trees here and there. There are 2 big boulders on the far right side just atop the slight hill with a huge tree right beside it. In the middle of the meadow runs a long, wide paved road!

“Yay~ Finally! I just need to follow this and someone might find me and give me a ride somewhere.” I said while walking towards the road.

I manage to reach the road and from looking on both sides, it looks pretty empty. I don't see anyone at all. I checked my map again and the arrow seems to be pointing to the right. I started following it so that I'm not wasting time here waiting since I don't know if there's even anyone who would show up right now.

I checked the time again and it's already past 4pm. I'm not sure how far the nearest town or city is but it's not looking good. The sun is setting soon and I might have to camp out here for the night. And I know for sure that it's not safe to set up camp here with all the monsters around.

If I'm setting camp out here, the best place I can think of is near those 2 boulders and that big tree on a hill. It would take a while to set up camp and the sun might set before I can finish so I decided that I would stop here for the night.

I walk towards the tree while checking my Infinite Storage for camping gears. I can use mine but it's not meant to be use here so I better use the ones from this world. It might have other functions as well. Maybe a barrier attached to the tent? That would be awesome.

While browsing, I reach the tree and surveyed the surroundings. There doesn't seem to be any monsters around and it looks like there's a trace of campfire here. This is a good sign since people use this place as a campground before.

I sat down and kept checking the list. I only wanted to use the necessary stuff for sleeping, like tent, sleeping bag and also firewood. I don't have to cook dinner since I got so much ready-made food in my storage.

“Hmmm... Let's take out the Camping tent for now and my sleeping bags~ wait... What's this Barrier Stone?”

While going through the list, there's this item that caught my eye. I took it out and held this grey looking stone that is shaped like a long diamond in my hand. I tried to appraise it.

“Appraisal” A screen popped out in front of the item and there was a description on it.

[ Barrier Stone is use to make a barrier to protect a certain area from attacks or monsters. These stones are place and hammered into the ground to form any shape of barrier. It can cover a height of 3 meters and width is based on the numbers of stone placed adjacent to each other. Minimum stone needed to form a barrier is 3.]

“Neat! Now, I don't have to worry about getting attack while sleeping. That's a load off my mind.” I said while feeling relieve.

I took out the Firewood and placed it on the campfire. I use "Ignite", a Lifestyle Magic skill that I have to set it on fire. It's pretty convenient to have these.

I then took out the Camping Tent, Sleeping Bag and 4 Barrier Stones. To my surprise, the tent was already assembled when it showed up in front of me. It was also a pretty decent size for 2 people.

“That makes my life sooo easy~ Thank you game!” I mockingly said to screen.

I need to move the tent over since it was pretty close to the campfire when it showed up. I dragged it over to the right by the boulders. I hammered the barrier stones into the ground using a hammer from the [IS] and I placed them about a foot away on all 4 corners of my tent. When I finished with them, all of a sudden, there was a thin see-through barrier that formed from the stones.

“It worked! Yay~ I feel accomplish now. I know it's early but I feel so drained today. I should head to sleep after eating.”

I looked at the sun, and it was setting really quick. It's getting darker now and getting a little chilly as well. I looked at the time and it's almost 6pm. I'm glad I decided to set up camp.

I took out a portable table and chair. I sat in it to relax for a bit while I browse through the food section on my storage to look for dinner and I found Stew and some bread so I decided to have that.

After dinner, I felt so sleepy. I left the campfire going and went to my tent. I set up the sleeping bag on the floor and placed my dagger and gun right beside it. I took my shoes off and wrapped myself in the sleeping bag. It didn't take me that long to fall asleep.
