So I decided to head North again after picking up the drops and putting them in the empty pocket of my backpack. I checked my watch for the time and it looks like I wasted a good 2 hours on that rabbit. It's almost 8am now and I'm a little hungry too from running too much.

I would like to get out of this forest before it gets too dark. I have a flashlight but I don't think it's safe to travel at night when I can't see the surroundings and there's no sun to base the direction. I don't want to get anymore lost than I am now. First thing first...

Ooh! I'm level 2 now and all my stats increased. It looks like I got 1 point for each base stat and about 10% increase for my HP & MP. I think I'm gonna save my Stat Points until I'm sure of what I wanna do here. Looks like the coins I picked up are money here. Interesting~

“Ok, now that I confirmed my stats. I have to organize my bag first. I should put my backpack and lunch bag in the Infinite Storage. I should also put some armor on, just in case. And eat some sandwiches before I go.”

While looking through the [IS] before, I found some leather armors. I took them out one by one and tried them on. Surprisingly, they all fit on top my clothes. I also wore the steel toe leather boots since it would be safer than runners. I took out the Beginner Dagger and hang it around waist with the attach belt. I'm still keeping the gun since I think it would be better this way.

“Hmmm... I know how to take things out of the Infinite Storage but I don't know how to put stuff in.”

I wonder, do I have to put the items separately or can I just shove my whole bag in there... I held my backpack in front of me and thought of putting it in the [IS] and all of a sudden the backpack starts to glow and it disappeared. I checked the list again and there it was. So I guess right. I did the same thing with my lunch bag and it went it as well.

“Nice~ No more heavy lifting for me~ ever!” I smiled happily while starting at my screen again. Now back on track...

I don't want to attract more attention from the wild beast here so I shouldn't practice the flashy Magic skills yet. Although, it would be nice to learn for emergency purpose.

After pondering for a bit, I decided to practice a little bit of magic, at least the basic skills. So how do I use it? Never done it before unless it's from a video game... oh well~ Let's try it with something I'm familiar with.

I read a lot of light novels, web novels, books, manga, watched quite a bit of anime and played a lot of games on my free time... yes, I'm an otaku... somewhat, but I still have time to do other things too since I like to go on a nature trip every summer. I was the one who suggested the camping trip by the way.

There might be one way in all of those that might work. You never know.

Ok. Let's try imagining things here. For Fire Ball it would be easy... maybe. I held out my right hand and tried to imagine a fireball as big as a baseball forming in my hand.

The fire started to form from the size of a coin and it slowly becomes bigger until it got to the size of an adult fist.

“This is sooo cool~ I can use Magic!!!” the ball of fire started to shake a little and *POOF* it disappeared... Damn... I lost my focus~

I tried to calm myself down and tried again. It went without a hitch. After it reach a certain size, I think this should be big enough... so how do I hit anything with this? Do I aim and throw, like pitching a ball or do I aim it and fire?

I'm not a good pitcher so I tried the latter. I held my hand straight and aim for a tree. I imagine the fireball shooting from my hand and then... *whoosh* it flew towards the tree and *boom* it hit it and left a burnt mark on it.

“That was sweeeet~!!” I raised my voice in excitement.

So I guess the imagination and focus is a big factor when it comes to magic. I decided to try the rest of the magic I possess, and it seems like there are a few different techniques for each one. I just have to use common sense I guess. The names of the skills are pretty straightforward.

Fire Ball = Shoots small fireballs to the target

Explosion = Shoots a fireball that explodes on contact

Water Jet = Stream of water gushing out from my hand as it hit the target

Water Bomb = A big ball of water that explode on contact

Earth Spear = A spear made from harden soil to pierce the target

Earth Shield = A rock solid rectangular wall that rises up from the ground to block attacks

Wind Cutter = Sends a scythe like wind to cut the target

Tornado = A mini tornado

Ice Lance = An ice lance that pierces the target

Freeze = Turns a target into a block of ice

I couldn't try the Heal and Cure since there's no target. Same with Blind and I'm not sure about the Dark Room. Time and Space Magic is intriguing but I don't think I should try that lightly since I don't know much about that. I don't wanna risk getting trap somewhere when I try it.

So I decided to try that out once I learn more about magic and maybe find someone to teach me how to use it.

I checked my status again and it looks like my MP went down a lot. I should rest for a bit and have something to eat before I go.

I took the lunch bag out of the [IS] and took out a couple sandwiches and a bottle of water. I sat down under the nearby tree and started eating while still checking my status.

There's the [ Appraisal ] skill and also what's that [ Credit Card (+ ) ] and [ ID Card (+) ] at the bottom?

I'll check the Appraisal later since it's pretty obvious what it's for. So I clicked the Credit Card one and another glowing thing popped out in front of me. It looks like an actual credit card. It has my name written on it at the bottom and some numbers written at the middle part of it with a blue sky background. I wonder if I can use this to buy stuff.

*DING* A map showed up on the screen with a red dot on it with a white arrow right next to it, pointing towards the green circle on the map.

“Seriously?! Should've done this before...” I said while sighing...

“I wonder if that's a town or Alexandrìa? It looks pretty far.”

For now, I should just expect this to be like a game and try everything I can think off. Still thinking that it's part of my dream, I decided to enjoy this game even if it sucks.

After checking, I put both Credit Card and ID Card back in the [IS]. I also finished my sandwiches and drank some water. I decided to leave now that I have a destination. I check the time and it is now 9:30am. I should really go now if I want to get out of this forest soon.
