I got a message from a person who had read my novel and told me to change Kyoka's age to 18 so as to avoid complications with Royalroadl.com. First of all, thanks to the person in question, you really saved me a lot of trouble.

But that is not why I write this short commend. I was honestly just shocked that the age of 16 could be considered pedophile.

But honestly I was just shocked and confused to hear that an 16 years old girl sleeping with an 20 years old guy could even me considered pedophilia. I don't know why, but I always thought that was reserved for children under 14, kids who could not even understand the very concept of sexuality.

On this note I want to mention that I absolutely do not support any sort of sexual behavior towards children. Any sort of such behavior is wrong and should be stopped!

For those who are confused because they thought that I was a pedophile myself since many of my characters are small and have less developed secondary gender characteristics (in other words boobs). I feel NO ATTRACTION towards children. In fact I find the thought of having sexual contact with a child extremely distrubing and upsetting.

What I do fancy is a smaller hight and less developed breasts. This does not stand in any relation to the age of the subject though. What I want to say with this, even though this characteristics are usually thought of in combination with a young age, I only like them on a mentally mature and somewhat older person (current bottum line is actually the age of 16)

Now regarding the issue of actual pedophiles.

I don't think we should bother them. At least until the truly act against children these people are merly people with a slightly unusual taste and disturbing thoughts. And until these thoughts remain thoughts there is no need for any actions. After all it's not like you can actively decide on your preferences. No one would volutarily decide to be a pedophile and bear all the shame and discrimination.

It the same as being gay, there is no choice or logic to it.

This also plays into the topic of fetishes.

In this novel I use a lot of pretty extreme and dark fetishes, some of which could be considered quite sick and psychotic. However, this is a novel and a mere construct of my imagination. There is a clear and important distiction between this and reality!

I would not and could not do any of the things I wrote in reality. Not only because there are no perverts like the characters in this novel walking around my area, but because I myself would not want to do this sort of stuff! The Reason for that are consequences.

In my imagination or on paper there are none. Anything I do there has no real impact or lasting consequences. I can restore anything I destroyed by just changing the story or deleting a chapter.

This isn't possible in real life.

This is the end of my short rant. What I wanted to do is to tell you guys about my point of view on these controversal topics and to make clear that I do not fancy young girls. Also I still think that it is stupid to talk of pedophilia with an 16 years old girl...
