Hey all, this is not a chapter for this fiction, but an announcement for my new [Combat Maid] story. I enjoyed writing the fight scenes and LitRPG aspects of this short quite a bit, so I wanted to expand those into a full-length web serial. Here's the cover and blurb:
A humble [Maid] in a backwater household, Fayette was resigned to living the life of a proper domestic servant, slowly leveling as she cleaned the estate. However, everything changes after she discovers another path in a sudden monster attack.
What if she were to take a more... direct approach to cleaning the filth plaguing this world?
The new story is quite different from this one - most notably, it's not a short, but a longer Litrpg. This means that the MC starts off weaker than Francesca, but she will quickly increase her repertoire of deadly [Maid] arts. It also doesn't feature a cute child that has to be protected from the nasty world (at least yet).

If you’d like an unholy mix of overpowered main character, wuxia, fantasy, and LitRPG - give The Only Real Cultivator a try. 6/1/2020 edit: Some bloke plagerized this book and put it on amazon, titling it "Ancient Cultivator." tbh I'm kinda flattered that I'm worth plagerizing. Still, don't buy the book. The whole thing's available here for free.

Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
