《Magical Cosmic》Chapter 24: Warden Orlan The Steaming Pork

Ten minutes prior, inside a secluded place in a camp.
A fatty middle-aged man with grease on his plump cheeks raised his head high and had his hand clenched behind his back. He was wearing a black uniform suit, a brown belt, and a black hat which made him look like a black official.
While walking to a specific location, he had his blonde hair straightened by repositioning his hat. There was also a black whip with nine ends on his right. Every tip of the whip was shaped like a hook and will tug the meat of someone being whipped with it.
Suddenly he stopped and raised his whip to his back. "Hey, you both! Where are you going?"
“S-sir… we were told by the patrol leader to have a break.” A guard with a spear answered with a quiver on his mouth while avoiding looking up.
Another guard with a red nose tried to look amicable and gazed up. “Isn’t it sir warden, is there anything we can help, sir Orlan?”
“Hmm? You both come and follow me!”
“B-but sir we—”
Ker-Chack!
The sound of the whip ran fast as the spear guard fell to the ground while covering his wounded chest which had nine bloody cut marks. “Argh! It hurt! it hurts!”
“S-sir please forgive my comrade’s words just now; he’s just being blind and didn’t know how mighty you are.” The red-nosed guard was dripping cold sweat while trying to help.
“Hmph! He could only blame himself for not knowing who’s the boss in this camp! Now, you take him and follow me!” A cold glint flashed in warden Orlan’s eyes before he turned over and going somewhere. Seeing that, the two guards could only follow suit while hiding their annoyance.
‘These fools! When I raise in rank and be the Lord’s right-hand man, I’ll discipline them to the bone!”
Not long after, they reached a very secluded tent in the camp. The tent was giving an eerie feeling as the night wind blew the tent and gave a howling sound, repelling anyone from coming closer.
"You two, guard the place! No matter what, don’t let anyone disturb me! And if I find that you're lax on your duty, you know the consequence, right?" Warden Orlan grinned in amusement before entering the tent.
A gulping sound was coming from the two guards, but they could only harden their hearts to stay and guard the place. They then gazed at the night sky to count the stars.
“Uhh…”
‘I think it’s been two days since I had been chained in here, I wonder if little miss is safe.’

A gray-haired elderly man tried to move his chained hand glued to a wooden board. But alas he hadn’t had a meal for two days straight, even moving his limbs a little was so painful because of all the wounds on his body.
Tap… Tap… Tap…
The sound of footsteps suddenly came from the entrance, it then stopped as a fat oily middle-aged man entered the tent. He had a sinister grin as he stroked the whip at his hand.
"Now now now... Are you going to keep your mouth shut, Brown? Or should I say butler Brown?"
“Is it you, oily pig? No matter how many times you torture me, I won’t tell you anything.” The elderly man named Brown didn’t even bat an eye to him when he spoke.
“What did you say? Seems like you still didn't have enough education. Let me teach you.” Warden Orlan then whipped him a few times but no matter how hard he whipped him; he only just moaned a little and gritted his teeth.
‘Humph... If it wasn't for the lord's order not to kill him, I would have him be cut into countless pieces and be fed to the dogs.’
“Hmph! I know that simple torture won't make you talk, but it seems that you had a liking to a brown colored suit. I wonder what happens if I were to burn your clothes?” Warden Orlan smirked as he took a brown suit that somehow was placed on top of the table full of bloody torture tools at the side.
Knowing that his favorite suit was going to be burned, a brief flinch could be detected on butler Brown’s face. Warden Orlan then took a lantern at the side before burning the suit unhesitatingly.
“Zhehehehe… Was it painful to see your beloved suit being burned up? I still had the rest of it here, I believe it would be hilarious to see your expression after I burn them up.”
Finally, the suit completely burned up and turned into ashes. But unknown to him, a small flicker of the flame got to the backside of his clothes.
“Hmm? Why is there still a smell of burn?” His nose twitched as he tried to find the source of the smell and found that his uniform was on fire. “Fuck!! Hot Hot Hot!!!”
Subsequently, He swiftly took off all his clothes, except his underwear before rolling around in the ground just like a pork roll. If anyone were to see this sight, they would laugh and assumed that this was a comedy show.

Even the badly wounded Brown couldn’t help but chuckle upon seeing this sight, ‘Pfth… now, this is what I would call a steaming pork…'
After having cooled down, warden Orlan stood up and rebuked, “Did you laugh just now?! You son of a bitch! You think it’s funny? I don’t care about the lord's command anymore; I’ll kill you!”
He then grabbed a dagger on the table before attempting to stab the butler. He smiled sinisterly as he licked the dagger and took a posture.
‘Ah… I think this will be my end, I’m sorry milord, I had failed your task to protect the little miss.’
But just as warden Orlan was about to swing the dagger, turbulence of an explosion shook him off and made the dagger missed the aim. The shaking also made his body fell straight to the front.
“The fuck is going on out there?” As he said that, two chaos footsteps of guards came closer from outside.
“S-sir, bad new— I-I didn’t know that sir was in the middle of that, please forgive my intrusion.” The red-nosed guard avoided eye contact with the warden as he said that.
“I-I also didn’t know that sir Orlan had that kind of fetish… I promise that I wouldn’t tell anyone so please don’t whip me.” The spear guard could only plead and took a step back.
“Hmm??? What did you say? Fetish?” Warden Orlan then gazed around him and found that not only was he basically naked, he also had his body leaned on the butler. “Shit! This isn’t like what you two think. No, I ordered you to forget what you see!”
Warden Orlan tried to reach his hand to them, but the two guards already left the tent while screaming, “We didn’t see anything!”
“Damn those two scoundrels! If I were to find them again, I’ll torture them to death!” As warden Orlan was naked, he couldn’t come out and chase after them.
“This is all caused by you! You know what? Forget it!” He then pulled out the stuck dagger from the board before stroking the butler’s cheek with it.
“Come to think of it, I always hate being disturbed when torturing people, now that the small disturbance has gone, Let’s continue where we left off zhehe-zhehehehe…”
Just when warden Orlan was in the middle of stroking butler Brown’s face and readied his dagger, another unwanted disturbance came. From the entrance, A man with a strange attire and a full helmet appeared with a long white colored haired girl in tow.
“Huh?” Finding the hideous sights in front of me, I immediately covered Lillie’s eyes. Did I just come to the wrong place? Or all the people in this world weren't straight?
As if hearing my sound just now, the naked fat oily middle-age man turned his back with a face of displeasure. “Who the fuck are you two?”
“Ah… Ehem… We’re just a passerby, don’t mind us.” With that, I took Lillie with me to go back outside.
“You… I’ll kill you!” For some reason, the naked fat man launched himself while swinging his dagger.
Seriously? I didn't even do anything, but this happens. Hah… It’s a pain but there’s no other choice but to face him.
Just as the dagger was about to reach me, an invisible shield reflected it and made him bounce off 2 meters backward and fell.
“Argh!”
I then approached the naked fat man that gazed at me with murderous intent as he threatened me, "You! Do you know who I am?"
"No, and I don't give a fuck who you are!" I punched him in the face and made a few of his teeth came flying.
“Graaa… Don’t think that you can get away with this!” Just when my palm was about to punch him again, Lillie suddenly interrupted as she approached the badly wounded elderly man chained on the wooden board, “B-butler Brown, is that you? This is so cruel for you to be treated like this.”
“L-little miss…w-why are you here? A-am I in the afterlife?” Just when I lifted my gaze to them, the fat man suddenly burst out to the outside while shouting, “You fool! Woy!! Is anyone outside? Hurry and help me!”
But when he got out of the tent, he froze as he gazed at the red scenery surrounding the place.
“T-this…. Impossible…” Suddenly from behind, I grabbed his shoulder while pointing my pulse rifle to his head and said, “Is that your last words?
“Hikk!!! W-wait!! I'm the warden of the lord, I could give you money, anything, please just spare me!" He pleaded with a confident smile that he will be spared.
“Spare? Were you able to spare anyone you tortured?” Questioned me slowly.
Hearing that statement, a twitch formed on his eyebrow and mouth; he suddenly turned around and tried to attack me. “No, you didn’t!”
“Idiot!”
Bang!
Then, the headless corpse of him fell to the ground, lifeless.

The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.
