Chapter 3

Above the planet called ''The empress' throne'' were two persons.One was a beautiful woman with long straight black hair and the other was an adonic young man with voluminous black and withe hair.

Nox didn't really know what to do.To be honest it wasn't his fault that he saw her but she didn't know that so her reaction was sort of justified.Though killing someone for seeing you naked may be a little much,if,as she said,he was the first one ever apart from her parents,well......

« I don't want to kill her but I can't let her kill me either. »Sigh« Then again,she's strong and it's a good occasion to break in my powers.....Ahhhhh fuck it. »« Can you tell me your name at least? »

She scoffed« How dare you pretend to not know this empress!You pervert! »She was still in her....pose.

« No,I really don't know who you are »« This stance looks so uncomfortable »He sweatdropped.

She scoffed.Two times for some reason.« Fine,I will give you the honor to hear my name before you die.I am one of the five kings of the gods,the martial empress:Boa Long! »

« Nice to meet you I guess.Wait shouldn't it be a queen of the gods.And if you're a queen,why do you call yourself an empress?They're not the same thing you know. »

Boa didn't say anything for a while.« ..........Someone like you wouldn't understand.Anyway the time to talk is over.Now you die! »

« Nonono,you just don't know how to retort so you want to change subject right? »

Instead of saying anything Boa blushed just a bit and extended her arms at her sides.When she did a few hundreds of snakes made of water appeared behind her.The water that made them kept moving almost like a drill,getting hit by it would probably hurt.She threw her hands forward and the snakes all charged to Nox.

« I guess we're done talking. »Seeing the attack,Nox smirked and took a deep breath.When he exhaled a large amount of flames were sent in the direction of the snakes.

Both attacks met in the middle of the ''battlefield''.They cancelled each other,creating a wall of vapor that neither opponents could see through.

Nox was waiting calmly his arms crossed and no emotions on his face,the only indication that he was fighting was the fact that his iris and pupils were now purple with three rings,each with three commas on them.

Suddenly the wall dissapated because thousands of golden arrow passed through it.Thanks to the juubi eyes Nox could see Boa holding a bow behind the avalanche of arrows.The bow was golden,in fact it shined.It was quite a simple design with the only intesting thing about it being that the end of it looked like blades, but he could still feel it was powerful.

He smirked and a ripple appeared in the air behind him.From behind him started emerging thousands of weapons,spears,swords,staffs and much more.All those weapons then launched straight to the arrows.

When they met,all the arrows crashed into something and dissapeared.However Boa was apparently not called the martial empress for nothing because when they met the arrows a lot of weapons were destroyed too.In fact only the stronger ones like the A and S class noble phantasms were intact.

« Ooooooh.She's interesting. »Nox was impressed,she was only using about 60% of her powers and yet she managed to destroy quite a few strong weapons.He wasn't really worried since they were not truly destroyed but sent back to the gate.« But how will you deal with rest? »

When she saw the result of the collision Boa was surprised.Normally the only thing capable of storing things in a separate space was a storage ring,however it was impossible to store more than a few 7th step artifacts in one,regardless of the quality.So when she saw him summon all those weapons she was sure they were 5th step,maybe minor 6th step,and since anything less than 7th step wouldn't destroy her attack she was sure of the outcome.

But now they were no more of her arrows and she had to deal with tens of what looks like 7th step artifacts.

Boa thrust her hands in front of her and god-qi gathered and transformed into a gigantic metal shield.However she was not done,as soon as it appeared the shield was covered in a black ore,then she crossed her ams and her qi covered her and the shield.

When the weapons came in contact with the shield,multiples explosions started.With each weapon destroyed,the shield was damaged,to the point that cracks started to appear on it.

Boa was forced to reinforce her defence using her qi,but after a couple of minutes she felt the attacks stop.Which was good since the shield was about to give out,it wouldn't have killed her but it would have hurt her and she refused to give that pervert the first blood.Though the defense consumed around 10% of her qi.

She dropped her shield and glared at the man.Loathe she was to admit it,he was strong,really strong.Around her was a giant crater with a diameter of more or less 50 kilometers.« I can't even feel qi from him. »Nox was now 100 km away from her.

« I have given you my name but you haven't given me yours.I would like to know what to call you when I explain to my people how I killed you. »She was now smirking,this was starting to excite her.

Nox chuckled« I'm Nox.Nox lucis. »He changed his name since this sounded better than Nox Michael.As mentionned before,he could be quite childish sometimes.

He looked at her and flashed her a roguish smile« Strong,beautiful and able to talk smack.I think I'm falling in love. »

Having been isolated in her empire since birth,without men and having generally no normal social interaction,Boa was not used to this.So it was no surprise that her face was completely red now.

« Y-y-y-you FIEND!How dare you talk like....like........like this to this empress! »Being embarassed she decided to destroy him,so she joined her hands and then separated them again leaving 20 centimeters between them.There was now a small ball of what looked like lava between her hands.She then blew on it and rings of ice appeared circling on the ball.

« Now DIE! »She threw the attack straight to Nox.It was so fast that as soon as it left her hands it was a fourth of the way there.

For the first time since the beginning of the battle,Nox uncrossed his arms and made a handsign.It wasn't necessary but it looked good so he did it.When he did tens of chinese dragons of the 4 basic elements appeared around him and lauched themselves at the ball of danger.

However every time they touched Boa's attack the dragons were disintegrated.Though at the same time the attack got weaker.It was still very dangerous.

« This is not bad but.... »A semi-transparent blue ribcage formed around Nox,then from that an arm in the same condition but carrying a sword made of chakra.When the ball of lava and ice was near him,the arm swung and sword cut the ball in two and a giant trench hundreds of kilometers long and at least 10 kilometers wide was created on the surface of the planet.Both halfs of the attck went around Nox and straight to the planet surface.

« Not good enough! »

When the attack landed on the planet it exploded into a gigantic sphere the size of a moon that froze,melted and generally just destroyed everything it came near.Nox was looking straight at Boa and could see the attack took a lot out of her,she was panting.She was also completely wide eyed and her face was red.« She still has more than half of her energy,why is she like that? »

He looked back at the planet ground for a moment and he was suprised to see that the whole planet was now a ball of lava.After a few seconds it was just a rock and after that it turned to sand that dispersed in space.« Looks like this was the result of lava and ice alternating. ».There was no one but Boa on the planet so there were no victims.

Nox was now grinning.He looked back at her and summoned murcielago.She was still red but otherwise looked normal,though the way she looked at him seem to have changed.He took a step and appeared in front of her with his sword in a swinging position.

« I'm starting to like you more and more!Let's dance! »As he said that with an almost bloodthirsty grin,he swung his sword.
