《Selfishness can be so rewarding》Prologue : THE weirdly selfish man

Prologue
If you asked anyone that knew him, they would tell you that Nox Michael is the most selfless guy in the world. They would say that everytime they saw him he was busy helping someone. On top of that he was above average looking, smart and good at sport so to everyone he was a good exemple of what a human should be.
If you asked Nox himself,he would be humble and unwilling to acknowledge his good deeds. But that was not real.He was actually the most selfish person around.Oh,he did all those things but his only objective was having a better life.
His mother died when he was less than one year old.So he grew up with his father,he had no other family since his parents had no siblings and his grandparents all died.He admired his father,he was a police officer and a truly great person. His father lived by one rule, one motto until the day he died : «Men who do good things get good things».
When his father died, when Nox was ten,Nox was taken in by his father's best friend. He then decided to live by the same rule as his father. But what he undestood is that if he wanted good things he needed to do good things.
Helping people was a good thing,so he did it though he didn't care about them.
Studying was a good thing,so he did it to get a better job and then money.
Exercising was a good thing,so he did it to live longer and look better.
And it worked, now in college,he had friends,a girlfriend,a hobby that was anime and xianxia, quite some money from gifts or jobs and just generally a good life.He loved being selfish.

Today he was out jogging when he saw a kid, about 12,crossing the road. The problem was the speeding truck driving straight to him. Most people would be shocked or afraid but Nox was different,he was happy. He threw himself and pushed the kid out of way, placing himself in front of the truck. All he could think was :
« YESSSSS !!!Sacrificing myself to save a kid, that's like winning the lottery for good karma.Heaven here I come! »
Just as he finished his thought the truck hit him.He was sent flying for a good 5 meters, his body hurt like hell, after a few moments he got numb and couldn't feel the pain. After a couple seconds he heard what he thought was the kid he saved. He couldn't open his eyes and he could barely hear anything, yet for some reason he could hear the kid perfectly.
« Mister!Mister! Are you okay!? »Then again the brat was shouting right in his ear.
« Jesus.........christ.........kid........stop......shouting. »He somehow managed to say. « and........i'm » Cough Cough« fucking.........dandy. »
The blood that was forming a puddle below him,was proof enough of his status.Though the bones sticking out too.
« Heaven better not dissapoint. At this point i have a fucking bullet train to it,but just to make sure. »
« Hey kid......do me.........a favor............do something good.........in your life. »
That was Nox Michael's last words.
The kid tried to wake Nox up,but it was useless. So with tears running he promised.
« I will do something so great mister!I promise. »
When Nox came to he was sitting in a chair,in a white room that only contained a table and two chairs, his and the one on the other side of the table.

He couldn't move for some reason. So after looking around he called out.
« Hello!!!!!???? »
« Hello. »
« Wha!! »
He didn't expect an immediate answer, much less one coming from the chair that was empty the moment before. But now there was.......someone.........something in it .It had the shape of a human but it was just white, like pure white that should hurt when looked at directly, yet it didn't.
« Heuuuu, who are you?And where is this? »
« Hi!Nice to meet you i'm god. »
« Oh ok.Nice to meet you I'm Nox. »
The entity, which was god apparently, tilted it's....his head to the side in a position that suggested curiosity.
« Hard to see really. »Nox thought
« So you're just going to accept that huh? »

Author's note :
Hi to anyone that's reading.I'm thenagain and this is my first story. To be honest this is more to learn so this is going to be a lighthearted story with lots of cliches.Sorry about that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .Also english isn't my first language nor my second, soooo yeah.
Feel free to criticize, compliment or even flame. As I said i'm doing this to learn.
I can promise 2 chapters per week for now sometimes more.Of course if there isn't a problem. The chapters should be around 1500 words
(The prologue is shorter).
Anyway this next part is kinda spoiler so skip it if you want, this is just to tell you what you can expect to not waste your time for 10 chapters I had it happen to me before and it was annoying.
You can expect : Truly op mc,harem(4women),powers from different animes for the mc,lots of cliches and generally just the mc having fun (BTW the mc is based on one of my best friends). So anyway hope you stick around.Ciao

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
