Chapter 5 - The aftermath of the bloodfest

Time passed rather slowly, with their perception of time has become distorted from the chaos. The seemingly several hundred groups of goblin sharks, now reduced down by more than a half.

Eventually, those that survived through the whole ordeal, grew to massive length and proportions, with some certainly exceeding four to six meters in size.

To someone who is from Earth where the animals are quite ordinary and normal, not as much impressive as the monsters in this universe. Very scary?

A full-grown adult great white shark would grow to four meters, with the most largest great white shark being around six meters.

However, that is not the tip of the icebergs; with a full-grown adult male goblin shark, being at maxed level (lv50). Their overall size would no doubt certainly exceed the great white shark six meters limit, and even reaching as far as nine meters.

This does not include skills, traits, or titles that which would influence the growth of the individual, similar to a stats multiplier.

How menacing and terrifying can the goblin shark grow up to be?

The goblin shark is one of the many deep-sea creatures hidden away from the surface. And it's not even close to being at the top of the food chain, or close to becoming the apex predator of the sea.

The vast majority of the now surviving goblin sharks has reached levels close to the late twenties, with some managed to break into the level thirties boundaries.

A seven meters tall big red-eyed goblin shark stood floating amidst a sea of dead carcasses.

Her pinkish-grey shark skin then hardens, overtimes, upon a much closer look; there are these tiny, hard, tooth-like structures called are called dermal denticles or otherwise called placoid scales.

These structures are shaped like curved, grooved teeth and make the skin a very tough armour with a texture like sandpaper.

She says the systematic keyword inside her head, and the status screen then magically appeared in front of her, display all of her details and personal information.

'Add twenty-four unallocated stats points into strength, nineteenn into agility, twenty-two into defense, and the rest into vitality!' She thought before she acted.

She allocated all of her hard-earned bonus stats point into their respective stats attribute value.

Within seconds the effects of the stats increased began to take effect, as her vitality steadily increases to the proportion of her levels.

The effects of the bloodlust from the recent killings began to calm down, as their sense of reasoning began to return to them. Due to the level up bonus stats, they gained with each levelled ups, their intelligence starts to slowly rise.

Some of the goblin sharks are showing signs of starting to develop sentience. However, they are not capable of human speech yet.

With the effects of the bloodlust soon fading. They all noticed the obvious changes made to their bodies by the system, as a sharp burning painful sensation unravels from withinside their guts.

Due to the vast amounts of experience points gained after the bloodfest. Their levels exploded astronomically to twenties near upper twenties or thirties.

Their mana pool increased exponentially within a short amount of time, that which their newborn monster body could not easily handle. It is what is causing the burning sensation they are feeling inside their gut.

All of the surrounding mana they gather withinside their monster bodies began to flow to one place, their stomach abdomen, thereby forming a small vortex.

The small vortex then rapidly sucked in all of the surrounding mana that they each possess within their monster bodies. The experience would drain them all of their energies and strength.

The small vortex would gradually begin to grow bigger, becoming a spherical big mass of fluid energies.

The ball of mana energy then shrinks and compresses on itself forming a mana core.

System Log Congratulations! You have successfully formed a tier 1 monster core! Your monster core has advanced to 4 ★!

Once a monster has accumulated a thousand points of mana, they would then form their own monster core, and be officially labelled as monsters by the world.

With each two-hundred points worth of mana, the user gained after they formed their monster core. 1★ will be added to their monster core.

Once the user has gathered up to 5★, an equivalent of the two-thousand worth of mana points. They are able to promote their tier 1 monster core to tier 2.

The formation of the monster core withinside the body is extremely agonising, almost to needles piercing your body, whilst you are burning alive.

The sounds of a hundred goblin sharks screaming and roaring, reverberates across the ocean sea bed, as all aquatic life within a few miles quake in fear of the absolute.
